Deep in the woods, where no sun light can ever reach is a castle of death where 100s of human are slaughtered , butchered and killed each day, where the feast is human flesh and drink human blood. Vampires live a happy life there. King and Queen loved and praised. Each Vampire has a super power , like some can hear far off people , some have strength, some spit venom , some can turn to animals , some has power to walk in sun without burning themselves but the Royal Family has multiple powers the Queen can develop a shield that protects the entire kingdom, she can stay out in sun without burning and turn to snakes, The king has the strength, he can turn huge rocks to pebbles with one single punch, he spits venom , whereas the Prince has the most unique powers he can read minds , he can make a person do whatever he wants without even asking, he can interact with animals as they understand him and he can kill a 1000 tigers but won't get tired.He is the most powerful man found on earth....

Ariana was just a 4 years old when she lost her family and her sight , her Aunt took her to her own home in a little town but children would tease her they won't let her cross the streets and hit her, call her names , she was usually found crying . Ariana left leaving home and turned into a scared depressed little girl, each night she would scream as she would see her parents being killed in her dreams , Aunt Susan after seeing her condition getting worse each day decided to shift into a cottage away from town and people.

After 14 years

"I'm going to the market, stay home, I'll be back soon, take care honey. Aunt Susan

"Sure, You too Aunt, bye" Ariana

As Susan left. Ariana locked the door she slowly moved to the kitchen and started cleaning up she washed the dishes and wiped the floor, she wanted to made sure everything was perfect before her Aunt Arrives .After she completed all the chores she dressed up and tied her hair in a high pony tail. Ariana was about to leave but her Aunt arrived.

"Were you planning to go somewhere?" Aunt Susan, "I just cleaned up the house and did all the chores" ...... (Aunt Susan cut through) "So you can leave?" "yes," (with a bit embarrassment and leaning her head down) Ariana. "Ariana, honey...... how many times I will have to tell you it's not safe to go out there", Aunt Susan (with a bit frustration) "but Aunt nothing ever crossed my way" Ariana "because you are lucky and the day something crossed your way you'll be dead like your mother and everyone else, why don't you listen Ariana?" Aunt Susan (furiously).... Ariana on hearing about her mother and went to her room without saying a word "OH God! What have I done?" Aunt Susan

(Castle)

"My lord, tomorrow is the most awaited night festival you need to announce the leaders of groups". Queen to king

"The night most awaited by my son, (chuckles) but where is he right now? "King

"Here I come, Dad." prince entered the main hall with blood around his lips.

"Look at you, how long will you take to learn cleaning up? Minister call the girls to clean him up". (a bit angry) Queen 

(Some vampire girls entered the room they licked the blood and the cleaned his face ) "Shall we start now?" Demon with an evil smile as he raised his eye brows.

An announcement was made by the king that was spread all around the kingdom,"Tomorrow is the most awaited night, with increase in our powers our traditional game shall be played, 3 groups shall be made and the one that wins will gain the pleasure of the especial night, flesh, blood, and each shall be honored with a human pet of their own, those who are interested shall submit their names and gather at palace so their groups shall be decided before the night falls."

(the night festival is the 14rth of the moon , a winter night that gives energy to vampires they feel stronger  and their powers grow whereas the night scares the human as large communities die and go missing)

Cottage:

Susan went to Ariana's room knocked it and went in where Ariana was found sitting beside the chair trying to feel the freshness of breeze at her cheeks , Susan went close to her,

"child, I'm sorry , I never wanted to hurt you" , Aunt Susan

"Its okay, I know you said it all in love , I can understand". Ariana smiled

Susan smiled and held Ariana's hand " why do you like going into the forest ?"

"Aunty..... do you remember, when I was young I used to go to the forest with mama I recall those memories whenever I'm in the forest  i enjoy the sounds of birds and insects while there is a sweet aurora of trees and bushes they actually carry the smell of mama, I love touching the woods , I can't see them but I can feel them. " Said Ariana

(Susan's eyes turned red , her vision blurred she was sitting in front of a girl she loved the most but wasn't able to see... she felt as if she was caging her by not allowing her to leave the house at all)

Next day :

(Aunt Susan getting ready for work) "Ariana dear, It might take long and I'll be late at night make sure you close all the windows and doors, curtains should be down........"

(Ariana cuts through) "and stay home, no light, no smoke from chimney, make sure the cottage seems abandoned Aunty I do know all of it." (Trying to comfort)

"Yeah, I know honey but I am worried I just can't imagine the number of lives that may become their prey today." Susan

"Aunt if you get too late stay there, don't leave for home at night." Ariana

"But I cant leave you alone." Susan

"I'll be fine .... They won't need a skinny, blind girl like me ." Ariana

"But I just can't honey what if......" Susan

Ariana breaks through "Nothing will happen, don't endanger your life ,you know how much you mean to me, I have no one but you , your life is very precious for me, so please." Ariana

"Okay , I'll try to be home early." Susan

"Sure good bye Aunty love you". (Ariana locks the door as her Aunt left the house. )

Enchanted forest

(demon and his crew was on a round in the forest , they were hunting animals and any invader if seen . Demon leaving the crew behind with his friend Liam reached to the end of the forest)

(Demon pointed at the cottage )" I wonder who lives there?''

Liam "my lord , an old woman lives here with her niece.''

Demon "aren't they scared of us ?"

Liam, " they should be ( chuckles) but the lady work in a house in the capital while the girl is blind".

Demon," why we never hunted them I feel bad for the old lady that she is still alive and why would anyone wish to live without eyes" (winks at Liam and while an evil smile appears on his face)

Liam," my lord , I have heard the girl is quite good looking , you can take her as your pet tonight."Demon" liam, my man you know my needs quite well."

Both laugh out loud while demon order Liam to take all the men back to castle to take rest and prepare for the night while everyone was leaving,the door of the cottage opens and Demon turned to look behind and saw a young girl holding a stick comes out , Demon had not seen anyone more prettier, while everyone left he stayed to have a closer look. That girl had eyes deeper than an ocean, her lips more red then blood, that any vampire would love to drink and her skin fairer than a fairy , in his long life of 170 years he had never seen someone so attractive her hair tied up ,wearing a blue frock she entered the forest while Demon felt stuck in her beauty and was immovable, a part of him wanted to suck each drop of her blood while the other wanted to protect her and save her and love her for eternity.

Ariana entered the forest while her stick led her while  she held onto a little basket , Demon stood in a distance to watch her , she widen her left hand touching barks and branches of trees and plants trying to feel them and relax in nature with each step she got closer to Demon and finally she bumped into him bringing him back from imagination.

Ariana (terrified): who's there ?

"the name's Demon ,LADY.....?" Demon

"I'm Ariana." replied reluctantly Ariana continues "your name's quite scary." Ariana

"You scared ?" Demon

"Should I be?" Ariana

"Nothing to be afraid of me Lady Ariana but Yes, evil spirits can haunt you." (trying to look into her beautiful eyes),Demon

"Well, I don't think they would unless you are one, (as Ariana stepped back and showed fear) by the way are you one of them?" Ariana

"No, no I'm...I'm not."Demon

"I think, I should leave." Ariana moved slowly backwards.

"Let me accompany you."Demon insisted.

"No need of it, i know my way home." Ariana 

"Ohh that's harsh! a young maiden shouldn't be so hard on others." Demon

  Ariana stayed silent

"please, allow me to help you to your cottage." he held Ariana's hand gently and continued insisting.
