I guess now I have to go to class
clarias walks to her class after drying herself.
As she entered the classroom, the hum of hushed voices and suppressed giggles met her ears. Making her way to her usual seat at the back, she stopped in her tracks. Her desk was covered in red scribbles, chaotic lines and harsh words scrawled across the surface. "Witch," "Freak," and other cruel insults stood out starkly against the pale wood.
The giggles grew louder, a cruel chorus from the other students, each whispering and glancing her way. Clarias's heart sank as she realized that even here, in the supposed safety of her classroom, the bullying continued.

Just as Clarias was about to sit down, trying to ignore the cruel remarks, Sophia, her only true friend, walked in. She immediately noticed the scene and the way everyone was looking at Clarias.

Sophia's voice cut through the laughter, a sharp note of defiance. The room fell into a startled silence as she glared at Grace, Rosalie, and the other students.

Ignore them. They're just jealous because you're stronger than they are.
For the first time that day, she felt a flicker of hope, knowing she wasn't completely alone. She sat down quietly at her desk, Sophia taking the seat next to her, a comforting presence by her side.

Tomorrow's going to be better
Next day
Clarias walks down the hallway, clutching her books tightly. Grace and Rosalie, leaning against the lockers, spot her and approach with sneers.
Grace
Grace
*Mocking* Hey, Clarias! Did you fly here on your broomstick today?
Rosalie
Rosalie
*Snickering* Careful, Grace. She might cast a spell on you!
Clarias keeps her head down, trying to pass them, but Grace steps in her way.
Grace
Grace
*Leaning in* What's wrong, Clarias? Cat got your tongue, or are you just too witchy to speak?
Clarias sidesteps them and runs to her next class, her heart pounding, and continues to her next class. The laughter of Grace and Rosalie follows her down the hallway.
Clarias enters the classroom, trying to find solace in her studies. But her relief is short-lived as Clara and another student, Mark, snicker from across the room.
Rosalie
Rosalie
*Whispering loudly* Did you see her hair today? It’s like a bonfire.
Grace
Grace
*Laughing* More like a cursed flame. Watch out, or she might burn you.
Clarias tries to focus on her notebook, but their whispers are relentless. The teacher is oblivious, organizing papers at the front of the room.
Mrs.Carlee
Mrs.Carlee
*Turning to the class* Alright, everyone. Open your textbooks to page 42.
As Clarias reaches for her textbook, she finds a note inside with the word “WITCH” scrawled in large, red letters. She swallows hard, blinking back tears.
Lunchroom
At lunch, Clarias sits alone at a table, pushing her food around her plate. Grace, Rosalie, and their friends approach, their trays loaded with food.
Grace
Grace
*Smirking* Mind if we join you, Clarias? Or are you too magical for company?
Rosalie and the others laugh as they sit down, crowding her. Clarias stays silent, staring at her tray.
Rosalie
Rosalie
*Leaning in* What's wrong, Clarias? Not hungry? Maybe you can brew yourself a potion instead.
Clarias picks up her tray and stands to leave, but Grace grabs her arm.
Grace
Grace
Where do you think you’re going? We're just having a little fun.
Grace then pushed Clarias, and she fell with her tray, Clarias pulls free and runs away, leaving their laughter behind her.
The final bell rings, and Clarias makes her way to her locker, hoping to leave quickly. As she opens it, a shower of red-painted paper bats falls out, landing at her feet. Grace and Rosalie appear behind her, giggling.

Grace
*Mockingly* A little decoration for your locker, witch. Do you like it?
Rosalie
Rosalie
*Laughing* Yeah, it matches your hair.
Clarias clenches her fists, fighting back tears, and gathers her things. She closes her locker and heads for the exit, feeling the weight of their ridicule pressing down on her.
As Clarias walks home, the echoes of their taunts follow her. But despite the constant bullying, a small spark of resilience keeps her going, hoping for a day when the cruelty will end.

Next day
As Clarias walks through the hallway, her steps are cautious. Grace, Rosalie, and Clara wait near her locker, smirking as they spot her approaching.
Grace
Grace
*smirks* Here comes our favorite witch. Did you bring any new spells today, Clarias?
Rosalie steps forward and deliberately bumps into Clarias, causing her to drop her books.
Rosalie
Rosalie
*Sarcastically* Oops! Sorry, Clarias. Didn’t see you there.
Clarias bends down to pick up her books, but Daisy kicks them further away.
Daisy
Daisy
*Mockingly* Why don’t you just use your magic to get them back, witch?
Clarias scrambles to gather her belongings, her hands shaking. She avoids their eyes, knowing any response will only encourage them.
Then slowly grace poured a bottle of water on her.
Grace
Grace
Oops! I'm so sorry, I didn't see you there, *sarcastically*
Later, as Clarias heads to her next class, Grace and Rosalie corner her in the stairwell. There's no one around, and their expressions turn more menacing.
Grace
Grace
*Taunting* You know, Clarias, red hair is just too bright. Maybe we should help you tone it down.
Before Clarias can react, Rosalie pulls out a bottle of dark dye and opens it, threatening to pour it on Clarias's head.
Rosalie
Rosalie
*Grinning* Hold still, witch. This will only take a second.
Clarias backs against the wall, her heart racing. She tries to escape, but Grace blocks her path.
clarias
clarias
*Pleading softly* Please, stop. I haven’t done anything to you.
Grace
Grace
*Laughing coldly* Exactly, you haven’t done anything. You’re just... here. And we don’t like that.
Just as Rosalie starts to tilt the bottle, a teacher’s voice echoes from the top of the stairs.
Mrs.Carlee
Mrs.Carlee
What’s going on here?
Grace and Rosalie quickly hide the dye, putting on innocent expressions.
Grace
Grace
*Smiling sweetly* Nothing, Miss. Just helping Clarias with a project.
The teacher eyes them suspiciously but decides to let it go.
Mrs.Carlee
Mrs.Carlee
You three, get to class. Now.
As the teacher walks away, Grace leans in close to Clarias, her voice a harsh whisper.
Grace
Grace
*Menacingly* You got lucky this time, witch. But next time, there won’t be anyone to save you.
Clarias hurries past them, her hands trembling as she clutches her books tightly to her chest.
In the classroom, Clarias tries to focus on the lesson, but the day’s events weigh heavily on her mind. The teacher begins the lecture, and Clarias hopes for a brief moment of peace.
But the relief is short-lived. Rosalie, sitting behind her, starts pulling strands of Clarias's hair, pretending to braid them.
Rosalie
Rosalie
*Whispering mockingly* Such beautiful hair. Maybe we should cut some off and make it into a potion.
Clarias tries to ignore her, keeping her eyes on her notebook. She feels a sharp tug and winces.
Rosalie
Rosalie
*Quietly to her friends, giggling* Maybe I should just cut it all off. What do you think?
The others snicker, and Cl arias's fingers tighten around her pen. She struggles to keep her composure, feeling increasingly trapped and helpless.
Gym Class
During gym class, Clarias hopes to blend in and avoid further attention. But as they prepare for a game, Grace and Rosalie find her again.
Grace
Grace
*With fake enthusiasm* Clarias, you should be on our team. We need someone to be the witch catcher.
The other students laugh, and Clarias feels a lump form in her throat. She tries to step away, but Grace grabs her arm.
Grace
Grace
*Tightening her grip* Come on, Clarias. Don’t be shy.
The gym teacher, distracted by organizing the teams, doesn’t notice the exchange. Clarias pulls free and joins the game reluctantly, enduring their jabs and whispers throughout the class.
The rest of the day is a blur of taunts and whispers. As the final bell rings, Clarias walks home, her steps heavy and her spirit bruised. She wonders how much longer she can endure this relentless torment.
