Emma opened her eyes, to see herself tied up in a deserted area. She shouted for help but to no avail. Then from nowhere Happy and some armed men followed her and then Emma's fiancée, Chucks, followed them. Happy had a sinister smile on her face and she laughed expressionlessly and said Emma, don't bother your self anyone can hear you. Emma replied 'Happy, what is this for' Happy sneered and said 'You think you can be beautiful than me right, dream on'. With that she told the armed men who followed her to do what they are paid for, Emma was afraid and didn't know what Happy was talking about, but she knows it can never be a good thing. This was how the story all began. Emma was a beautiful, kind and nice girl. She had everything any girl could ever wish for including a loving mother, her father had two wives, Emma's mother which is Florence and Emma's mother best friend which her name is Larida. Larida betrayed Florence which is Emma's mother and had an affair with Florence husband which his name is Tadpy(what a funny name) at her back, what backstabbers.

 This causes Arid to become pregnant with Tad's son, when Florence heard about this she almost divorced Tad, but she doesn't want Emma to become a child without a father, so she concealed the betrayal in her heart and had to stay in Tad's house. Now back to Happy and Emma(the present)

 Emma was terrified and called out to her Fiancée but not only was he not ready to help he supported Happy's decision, she couldn't believe the man she had always loved, cared, and want to spend the rest of her life with would be so heartless . With all of this thinking, The armed men had gotten to Emma's side holding knives, then Happy's voice rang out saying , What are you waiting for I didn't pay you to only look at her. With that they use the knife to scrape her skin causing a very long a very long wound, blood drip down Emma's face, even with that Happy wasn't satisfied and told the men to continue, she said that until all of Emma's face has been covered with blood, she then laughed coldly and told Emma that she would she how she would flaunt her beauty and she also told Emma that if she tells anyone what happened today that no one would believe her.

Emma knew that she would never escape the wrath of her evil stepmother and Sister and mostly her Fiancée that she believed in the most . She never believed he could betray her and she thought to herself , today it was just taking away her beauty, I wondered what she would do to me later, right there at that moment she made a decision that she must end her life because she never wants to be ridiculed.

The man who scraped her skin was standing beside her holding the knife and she bit him hard making him stumble with that the knife flew from his hand and accurately hit her heart before she gave up the ghost she looked at Happy and Emma with blood shot eyes and told them she will make them pay a hundred times in her next life. With that she gave up the ghost............

Emma, wake up you lazy girl......... Emma remembered that voice that is her stepmother, Larida(her mother's former best friend). Then she opened her eyes and she saw a rusty bed, old radio, She thought to herself, is this not my room. She saw her stepmother dragging her hair and she remembered this was the day her family is invited to a beauty contest for their business, Happy was eager for Emma to go with them, she was surprised but she thought Happy wanted to reconcile with her. Immediately they got to the place where the show was been held, Happy held Emma down and this convinced Emma's that Happy really wanted to reconcile with her so Emma followed Happy closely,when the reporters saw Happy, they were taken by her beauty but immediately they saw So from there she saw herself tied up in a deserted area. She also remembered the day after her face was destroyed were to be the day Happy was be a bride for Alder Franklin,The vegetative man, but also the richest and most prestigious man in the imperial capital and his family is the most prestigious family in Paris. in her past life Happy was supposed to be the bride of Franklin but because she never wanted to be a bride to a vegetative man she decided to replace herself with Emma, but she refused, because she loves Chucks and wanted to marry him, so Happy had no other choice to marry Franklin but she couldn't be there because she was dead by that time.

     Then Emma thought to herself, Have I been reborn. With all of this thinking Larida has pinched Emma a lot of time but when she wanted to pinch Emma again, Emma slapped her hand away, Larida told her is she okay, that she was trying to wake her up but Emma sneered and told Larida that it doesn't means you should pinch me, Larida was surprised with the way Emma responded but she ignored the thought and told Emma that she should get ready for the beauty contest, she also told Emma that if it wasn't for her she would not be able to go the beauty contest.

      Emma smiled coldly and told her that is that all or is there more to your sudden kindness, Larida was convinced that there was something wrong with Emma, she knows Emma used to behave timidly and noe she is talking to her like this and Larida looked into Emma's eyes and quickly removed her eyes back because Emma eyes was full of coldness. Larida then told Emma to quickly get ready for the beauty contest, Emma told Larida that she wasn't going, so she doesn't need to get ready. Larida was surprised and told Emma that she must go but Emma refused and Emma told Larida that is she sure she just wanted her to go or does she have ulterior motives, Larida was scared but she quickly composed herself and told Emma that if she doesn't want to go then she won't to avoid Emma suspecting her, with her expression Emma was convinced that she knew something about the kidnapping of herself. Actually Emma's speculation was right , even it was Larida who helped Happy hired those men because she wants her daughter to become the most beautiful.

         Emma decided she has to be there for the exchanging of Happy to Franklin so as to be the bride to be exchanged so she would have enough power to take revenge on those who has hurt her and her mother

Emma stood up from the old bed and decided to wash up, then she dried her hair, she heard a commotion downstairs, she wanted to ignore it, but she heard Happy's raging voice which sounds like noise to her(serves her right), she was curious and decided to have a peek and when she got out of the old rusty attic which Larida sent her to before she was reborn and after the death of her mother Florence, and after Larida and her daughter came into her life, they sent her out of her room in the guise of helping her and her father never stood up for her, they tortured her and ridiculed and after Larida gave birth, they made her pack and clean his faces even though there were maids who could have done that, they wanted her to marry Franklin for Happy because Happy does not want to marry a vegetative man, she refused which caused her many beatings and tortured her but because she loved Chucks, she still did not agree for her substituting herself for Happy now.

 Now Emma had a cold smile, and she said to herself 'I will make everyone who had wronged me and my mother pay' with that she shut the door of the room angrily, the loud sound coming from the door attracted Happy and the others' attention, with that Emma walked through the stairs exuding a noble aura, her beautiful blue eyes shines like the sapphire without any warmth, her face clean and beautiful like a porcelain doll, she walked elegantly like a woman from a noble family, her beauty captured the servants and even Happy couldn't deny that Emma was extremely beautiful today, she knew Happy was beautiful, but she never noticed she was this beautiful. As Emma stood in front of Happy, Happy had already turned green with anger, and she looked fiercely at Emma, Happy sneered in her heart and happily calculated how Emma is going to run to her room and not come out until being called, The reason she knew was because anytime Happy looked at Emma fiercely, Emma would run to her room for fear of being punished by her and Larida, she can't wait for her to run to her room, but after some minutes the girl who should have run to her room, didn't move a step back talk less of running into her room, Happy was surprised and couldn't help but looked into Emma's eyes, hoping to see some fear but when Happy looked at her Emma, not only did were there no fears in Emma's eyes, she was so calm like as if Happy's words doesn't mean anything to her, Happy was stunned for some minutes, and she thought to herself 'What is wrong with Emma, did she not hear what she said'

At that moment, the other servants even couldn't believe what they were seeing, they know Happy to be a bully and would make Emma scared, some servants always wanted to stand up for Emma, but they couldn't for thefear of being beaten and worse been fired, so they could only curse Happy in her heart whenever she bullies Emma but the only servant who always stood up for Emma was Ms Marie, because of this reason she had been beaten many times, and she has many scars on her body, yet she didn't stop defending Emma, it was because she was telling Happy to make Emma go to the Fashion Contest in which they have been invited, Happy was annoyed and shouted at her that was what causes the commotion earlier before their attention was diverted by Emma, actually Ms Marie would have been fired long ago if not because she had the property and companies documents, before Emma's mother, Florence, passed away she kept Emma in Ms Marie's care, she trusted all her properties in Ms Marie's care to protect it until Emma is in her twenties and then properties and wealth and the company should be returned to her, to get the properties left in Emma's name before Emma is in her twenties, Arid couldn't sack Ms Marie because he wasn't satisfied with the managing rights he got, so he could only keep Ms Marie to get the properties back.

Emma stood in front of Happy with her calm face and yet showing some signs of coldness. Happy was nervous and said to herself 'Is this really Emma'.
