New beginnings
People say nothing last forever, I didn't believe such phrase
My family and I relocated from Johannesburg, South Africa to Ontario, Canada. That was the worst day of my life
People might say we moved further into greener pastures, but for me, it was torture.
I left a place I had known throughout my life, left my friends and the girl I love
And the worst part was that my dad didn't tell us we were moving out earlier, so I didn't have the time to tell them
I promised to be with her forever and I broke it
Well, I'm sure karma's going to hit back right
By the time we moved over to Canada, my dad had already bought a house
For one month, I stayed at home no school, no friends just my siblings
Until I was enrolled into Ontario High School, which is where my story starts
Josh is sleeping peacefully on an early Monday morning, when suddenly, he is awakened by a loud noise
