June 5th was the day I was destined to die.

Well, not that I knew it then, since it started off as a regular day for me.

Like usual the person who gave birth to me and sperm doner nagged me as usual, saying things that I am used to hearing from them like "you aren't good enough" or "I wish you could be like your younger sister.”

This is all due to the fact that I have no talents whatsoever other than being sarcastic. Also I bore no care for others feelings whatsoever and I only care about three things,food, manga, and music. I do what I want without thinking of the consequences.

Anyways, let's skip to the important part, my death.

I was working the night shift at the gas station as usual while studying for my exams at the same time since people barley come here at night. Then a strange fellow, (my killer) came in. I ignored him, waiting for him to get whatever he needs so I can help him check out.

A couple of minutes later his footsteps stopped and a shadow loomed over me, I closed my exam book and asked, "Is that all for you tod-"

I paused when I looked up to see a gun barrel pointed straight at me.

Oh, a robber.

"Open the cash register, and give me all the money in the safe too." He said referring to the emergency money safe in the back.

"I can't, sorry sir," I said monotonously, rolling my eyes and opening my exam book.

"And why not?" The man asked removing the safety lock from the gun.

I stared at him with a fake pout, putting my hands on my chin and my elbows on the counter, "Because I don't have the password doofus"

This was partially true, my manager was reluctant to give me the password, worried that I would steal it, (which was probably true) but eventually caved in.

Sadly though, my memory is as useless as a rock so I forgot it.

I saw the mans hand that was holding the gun shaking in anger, "If you don't give it to me now, I will shoot you, 5-"

"I don't have the password so I guess shoot"

"4-"

"You do know no one cares about me nor do I care for my life so you can kill me now"

"3-"

"You will still go to jail though, oh unless you do escape"

"2-"

"wow all this just for money you must really be desperate"

"1-"

"tell my family I hate them"

"AAAARG" He yelled in frustration, throwing his gun to the ground. I could feel the smoke burning out his ears.

"Um, so are you not going to kill me?"

He suddenly grabbed me by the hair and dragged me over the counter. Making me drop my exam book.

Well isn’t he super strong,

He started to drag me outside and towards the bumpy road.

"Usually I would shoot you but I feel like that would be an easy way out, and I really hate you-"

"What? Why I’m nice?"

He stopped in the middle of the road and dragged my face closer to his. " you are the most annoying girl I’ve ever came across, you’re more annoying than my ex who spams me 24/7, so you get the Award for being my most hated person on the planet-“

“Awe thank you.”

He gripped me hair more tightly and tugged it further up to look him into his light blue/ grey eyes, “So, now I will torture you until you beg me for mercy and then sell-"

Just then a bright light flashed before our eyes, and a big truck came speeding towards us while also swerving left and right.

He must be very drunk.

When my kidnapper got his senses back it was too late, and then, truck-kun ran into us like a bull. And it hurt, like really hurt. It hurt so bad I almost cried. And I never cry.

I suppose this very painful death could’ve been easily avoided if I didn’t have the personality I have. If only I didn’t have bad memory or I wasn’t so sarcastic maybe I could’ve lived. Too bad I have no will to live.

If I ever live again, my will to live would be so that I won’t experience this pain again, I must live.

But I won't right? Since I'm dead?

Oh, how wrong I was.

When I gained conciousness, I woke up to a banging pain in my head.

“Aish, my head is hurting so much” I said out loud sitting upright.

When I opened my eyes I stared straight into a mirror. I see myself-

From the past?

I look like myself, but I have long hair, but that’s impossible since I cut it earlier this year.

Oh, I meant my sister cut it last year since she thought I was “too pretty with long hair”

Also my eyes are more of a dark grey color. It’s me but it’s not me at the same time!?

I finally looked around at my surroundings, realizing that I’m in a very big room. It can’t be mines since I’m very poor- wait, what happens if this isn’t me? Am I even Eliza?

“No you are still Eliza just a different Eliza in a different dimension”

I screamed loudly, falling off the huge bed I was in.

When I looked up I saw a handsome male, with long black hair and radiant blue eyes.

“Well thank you for the compliment”

Wait is he talking to me? Did I say that out loud? How did I get here? Where am I?

“Yes I am talking to you, no you didn’t say that out loud I just can read your mind, I brought your soul here, and you are inside the dimension of a novel”

I blinked once, twice, then bursted out laughing.

“This is once of the rare times I’ve laughed, congratulations, it’s hard to make me laugh so hard” I said wiping my fake tears.

“Don’t believe me? Then explain how you would still be alive after that truck hit you and you loss over half a gallon of blood? And how you suddenly grew long hair overnight?”

Wait why does he know how much blood I loss? That’s a bit weird, but he actually might be right. I was reincarnated?

“Why was I reincarnated? And which novel is this?”

He chuckled, “well, before you died you didn’t have any will to live, and technically you still don’t since ‘not wanting to feel pain again’ is not a will to live since you can find a way to die again with no pain”

“So” he continued grasping my hands “ I’ve decided to chose you to be reincarnated so you can find your will to live!” He said cheerfully.

I glared daggers at him, but he seemed to have ignored me, “you should be thanking me, I can only choose one soul every decade, you’re welcome”

“I want to grab your neck and choke you to death” I said angrily.

“Ahaha, good thing we can’t die, we can only feel pain” he said rubbing his neck nervously.

“You know I can just kill myself right? And go to heaven or hell?”

“No can do” he said letting go of my hands and sitting on the floor next to me. “If you somehow die and still have no will to live I’ll just place your soul in another dimension!” He said laughing.

I sighed loudly, so all I have to do is complete this stupid mission and I can finally die in peace.

“Earlier though, you said I’m still Eliza? So you transferred my body into this novel dimension along with my soul?”

“Hmm, not quite, you look like yourself because coincidentally this novel character looks similar to you, that’s one of the reasons why I chose this character-“

“Wait hold up, what character am I? The protagonist? Or just an extra...?”

“Ummmm” he said laughing

“......what?” I said confused.

“Um you might know. Your name is Eliza kreed, you are 25 years old, you work at alt. Inc. and you’re madly in love with your ceo.... alsothenovelsnamethatyouareiniscalledmarriedtotheceo bye!”

He suddenly disappeared and I was left alone in my thoughts.

What did he say? I’m Eliza kreed ( this character has the same first name as me) I’m 25? (So this character is 7 years older than my previous self) I work at alt inc? Must be a popular company. I’m in love with my ceo? Gag.

And the novel I’m in.....

Wait.

‘married to the ceo?’ That novel, I’ve heard it before. I read only a few pages since I hated how cliche it was, and the antagonist has the same name as me and I didn’t like reading books with characters that has the same name-

wait don’t tell me...

Out of all the characters he could’ve chose....

I was reincarnated into one of the worst novels ever, and I’m the antagonist in it? The one that goes through despair and dies a horrendous death?

“Aish I’m going to murder that cow” I grumbled throwing the stupid note he left on the table.

Yes, that stupid soul stealer left a note saying:

“Ahaha you figured out you are the villainess right? If not well congratulations! you are. You have to get ready for work. If you don’t you’ll be fired then poor then you’ll die and you’ll have to do this over again! Good luck finding your will to live.

“So stupid” I whispered going into my closet to find clothes “professional” enough to wear to work.

After I finished, I grabbed the purse on the table (that I guess is mine) and walked outside.

In the novel, I don’t think the antagonist had a car, I guess I have to hail a taxi.

I waved my hand out in the street yelling “taxi! Taxi!”

When a black car finally rolled next to me I hopped in and closed the door.

“Same place as last time?” He asked rolling onto the street.

Huh? Same place? Is he my butler or chauffeur?

“Um...yes?” I said handing him the credit card laying in the purse I brought. I’m pretty sure it’s mine.

While on the way to the company it was quiet in the car, all that was heard is the blaring horns outside, I might not get accustomed to it. I’m so used to the quiet town.

When he pulled up to the company I gapped at how many floors it had. I’ve never seen a building this tall!

“Um...miss? We are here”

“Ah, yeah, thanks.” I said grabbing my card and walking out the taxi.

I have no idea where my office is in the company, they don’t really talk about her job position in the book. I’m guessing she’s a front desk worker, usually they are always the antagonist in a book.

I walked into the building and gapped at the front space, it’s bigger than my apartment!

I walked aimlessly towards the front desk, not paying attention to who I bumped into.

The person fell to the floor while I gapped at her.

Wait. Don’t tell me...

“Marcy!?”

“Eliza!?”

Out of all the places where my demon sister pops up, it's in my afterlife? Jesus no wonder I’m the antagonist I have to this devil every day!

Wait.. please don't tell me she is the protagonist?

No, she couldn’t be right? She looks nothing like the description in the novel.

In the novel, the protagonist has long,blonde,shiny hair with emerald eyes, Marcy has-

Long blonde hair and emerald eyes?!

Maybe if I kill myself now I will riencarnate into a world where I won't have to see her face….

“Ms.Kale!” A loud voice yelled in the common lobby.

Judging by his voice im guessing he is the male lead, I mean, when he yelled marcy looked at him with tears in her eyes and all of the employees looked his way in fear.

When I turned to look at him boy was it a nice sight to see, the description in the noel does not give him justice.

He has silver hair that shines in the light, and his blue eyes sparkle-

“Are you bullying Lucy again!?”

“Huh? Lucy? Marcy is now a lucy? Aish! She really is the protagonist” I cried in despair.

So she makes my life miserable as long as I’m alive, even in the after life, great.

“I told you to give up, Lucy is my girlfriend now, there is nothing you can do to change it.”

Huh...wait...girlfriend? In the beginning of the novel they weren’t dating? I thought in the novel they started as strangers? Maybe i misread?

No I couldnt have, so….this means…

I was reincarnated after the novels events took place?!

No, I’m pretty sure I am dead at the end, so maybe it's the middle?

But what happened before? I only read maybe the first chapter of the novel, wait I am so confused-

“Ms.Kale!” The hunk yelled again, “Apologize to Lucy!”

“Huh? Why? Why would I do that?” I ask with a confused tone.

“You pushed her!” He yelled helping her up.

It was silent before I bursted out laughing. “I-I can’t believe you accuse me of some childish tricks.” I said whipping my tears, “I would've pulled this devils hair if I could!” I yelled at marcy, lucy, whatever she is.

“She has done nothing to you yet you continue to bully her, if this continues on I have no choice but to fire you...I only let you slide since you are a capable secretary” he continued, “Lets go lucy, I will take you out for lunch.”

As they left I was stuck there in my own thoughts.

So Marcy, the devil who tortured me to no end in my past life is in my reincarnation life as the protagonist while I am stuck here as the antagonist? Unfair! I won't accept this.

I’m not going to just sit here with the short end of the stick, she can have the happy ending in the last life but she is not stealing it this life.

I will steal everything she loves, and make her wish she wasnt the protagonist. And I know just which thing to take from her first.

Her beloved boyfriend, I will seduce the ceo!

Im starting to sound like a real villain now.
