...A voice in my head....

A good hearted kid was playing in the forest of the Dead, a forest that got its name after countless battles that happened there, and countless deaths of brave warriors that fought for the good of this world.

"...help meeee…." A faith voice could be barely heard coming from a small cave.

Of course the son of a Demon lord couldn't help it but to start following the voice.

"Renjie stop!" A strong man shouted at the little son of the Demon lord that was standing In Front of a cave.

"Uncle Li, what are you doing here?" Renjie asked curiously.

"Renjie, you know that you must not enter caves with red marks on them, it is a rule from your father." Uncle Li explained.

"I'm sorry Uncle, please don't be mad." Renjie with a sad face bowed his head In Front of his Uncle.

"It's fine Renjie, let's go home now." With his hand placed on Renjies shoulder they both headed back to the palace.

Soon enough night fell and everyone fell asleep.

Everyone besides little Renjie. He was watching into the ceilings while laying beside the Demon Lord on their massive king size bed.

"...help meeee…." It was the same voice from before.

"...help…meeee….help…meee…..help….meee…."

That voice was repeating through Renjies mind.

Renjie opened his eyes and stood up, he mindlessly started walking towards the main exit of the palace. He quietly exited the palace and started sprinting towards the Forest of the Dead, while listening to the same mysterious voice.

Night was young, tonight was a full moon, so navigating through the mountain wasn't the problem.

"...lord…help….meee…demon…lord…help…mee…"

With every step the voice was clearer and easier to understand.

"...Young…Demon…Lord… please…help…mee…" Renjie was standing in front of the entrance of the mysterious cave, the same cave Uncle Li told him not to enter.

Without hesitation Renjie entered the cave and started sprinting through the maze that was made to ensure that no one finds what's hidden inside.

The cave was dark, nothing could be seen within ten meters from the entrance.

*Demonic Fire!* Renjie used his all bad Qi to activate a spell that helped him see inside of the cave.

"...Young…Demon…Lord…please…help…me…" Voice inside Renjie's mind was still echoing in his head, showing him the way towards the center of the cave.

Soon enough Renjie found it, a bright purplish color was emitting from the center of the cave, there was a massive purplish Spirit crouched inside of a small colorless box, completely moveless.

"Young Demon Lord, you have to release me, I am begging you." The voice was faith, barely hearable, but enough for Renjie to understand.

"What are you doing here?" Renjie asked.

*Evil Demon Lord Yu Jian has imprisoned me for many years, not allowing my spirit to go to Heaven, you have to release me.*

"That's my grandfather, why would he do something like this?"

"I was the great Witch of the Demon Lust cult, Demon Lord cult, and our cult was an alliance, until the Great Demon Lord Jian betrayed us, killing our whole clan and trapping my spirit, never allowing me to rest, you have to release me, Young Demon Lord, I am begging you."

A long silence occurred, Renjie was unsure of what to do, he never heard anything about his grandfather, he was doubtful, but good hearted so he couldn't help it.

"If it's for you to rest in Heaven then I see no harm in letting you go." Renjie placed his hand on the colorless box.

*Demon Eye*

Renjie activated his all bad Qi, resulting in his left eye glowing purplish, his Qi started entering the box shattering it into million pieces. The great Witch of the Demon Lust cult was released after many years of imprisonment.

“Thank you.” The Witch quickly passed through Renjie’s body, completely disappearing.

“Huh?” Renjie fell on his knee, holding his head. He got a massive headache from that spirit that lasted a few seconds, the headache was so strong that normal people would fall unconscious, but the Young Demon Lord was able to walk it off.

“I have to go back, before my father wakes up.”

...Great escape of the Lotus demon...

"Lord, I need to speak with you, It's very important." Demon Lord's right hand, Li Dongfang calmly walked towards the Demon Lord, while having a worried face.

"Renjie, you can go now, I have to speak with Uncle Li." Demon Lord sent his son toward the training area while walking the opposite side towards the Demon Tree.

"What's wrong Li?"

"My Lord, we have a big problem. It seems that someone freed The Great Lotus Demon last night."

"IMPOSSIBLE!" The Demon Lord was shocked, he was the one who locked the Great Lotus Demon many years ago, before Renjie was even born. "How could someone break my seal?!"

"We don't know yet, we only found out that someone entered the Prison cave last night and freed her."

"That was last night?"

"Yes, we can confirm that someone entered our land last night and freed The Great Lotus Demon, my Lord."

"Whoever it was, he must be as strong as me or even stronger, I can't help it but feel worried. Ask a few of my servants to watch over my son, I'm going to investigate this."

"Lord, can I come with you?"

"Of Course after you finish with that, come to the Prison cave of The Great Lotus Demon."

A few moments later Renjie was inside of a Training ground practicing his Qi gathering.

While in the state of Qi gathering, His body is emitting dark purplish colors that could be seen from 100 meters away.

"Phew…" Renjie just finished his Qi gathering. "It feels weird after last night, maybe she did something to me?"

"Hmm… What's wrong, Young Demon Lord?" One of the Demon cult servants was close enough to hear him. "Is everything okay?"

"Ahh no, everything is fine!" Renjie was taken back from that. /I can't let them know about last night/

At the same time inside the prison cave.

"Hmm this is no good." The Demon Lord was standing in front of the broken colorless box.

"Whoever did this is strong, even stronger than me."

Demon lord and his right hand Li were in the center of the Prison cave, gathering clues about the release of The Great Lotus Demon.

"Why would somebody do this?" Li asked while gathering the pisces of the colorless prison box.

"I don't know, but I know that this is not good, especially for my son."

"What do you mean Lord?"

"Whoever is doing this, is not after me, but my son. I can deal with those Demons alone with no problems, but then I won't be able to protect my son." The Demon Lord explained it to Li.

"What are we going to do?"

"I'm sending Renjie to the school!" The demon Lord said it while walking towards the exit.

"There is one problem, I don't know where the exit is from this cave…"

"Renjie come here!" The Demon Lord called his son.

They both sat on the bench below the Demon Tree.

"Why did you call me father? Did something happen?" Renjie was curious.

"Someone is attacking our land." The Demon Lord was immediately cut.

"WHAT!" Renjie immediately panicked, he never experienced anything like this.

"WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO?!"

"Let me finish will you!"

"Sorry father…"

"Somehow The Great Lotus Demon escaped her prison, and now we are expecting other Great Demons to start escaping their prisons too."

"Even though we increased our security, I can't guarantee your safety, that's why I decided to send you to the school."

"Really, that's amazing, Father!" /Should I tell him what I did few days ago?/

"As for who let that Demon out, I WILL MAKE SURE TO COMPLETELY ERADICATE HIM FROM THIS WORLD!" The demon lord was furious at that thought.

/Maybe he'll make an exception for me?/ Renjie thought.

"NO EXCEPTIONS! I DON'T CARE WHO IT IS, IT CAN BE MY OWN BROTHER, I WILL MAKE SURE THAT HE NEVER FORGETS WHAT HE DID!"

/Okay maybe not./ Renjie had a worried face. /I'll keep this as a secret for now…/

"My Lord, I've arrived." Li was holding 3 small boxes with the cult label on them.

"Perfect, Renjie, my son, you are finally old enough to inherit Demon weapons, those weapons were made from our ancestors using Demon technique, with small maintenance they can last eternity!"

"You can only choose one, our tradition does not allow us to see the weapons we chose, it's purely up to destiny."

"Which one should I choose, father?" Renjie had three choices, he didn't know who those weapons belonged to nor what to choose.

"Follow your heart Renjie."

"Okay, I'll choose the third box."

"Li, open the third box please."

"Of course my Lord." Li opened the third box which had the oldest Demon weapon, called Chains of Death.

"What is this…" Renjie grabbed his new weapon left by his great great grandfather.

"They are called Chains of Death, they were used by your great great great grandfather, Yu Jian, one of the strongest Demon Lord's in our entire history, I believe he was even stronger than me."

/Yu Jian? I thought that was the father of my father, not someone who died centuries ago!/ Renjie had a shocked expression on his face.

"Do you not like your new weapon?" The Demon Lord asked his son.

"NO, no It's fine hehe!" Renjie's face quickly changed from worried to happy, welp forced happy.

"So It's decided, Uncle Li is going to help you enroll into a school." The demon lord said as he stood up to face Uncle Li. "I want you to protect him, It's extremely important that people don't find out about his identity, you know what would happen if Alliance found out."

"Of course my Lord, Renjie is going to be safe with me!" Li said as he was shaking the Demon Lord's hand.

Soon enough Renjie and Uncle Li started their journey towards civilizations, Uncle Li knew the safest school for the Young Demon Lord.

School that had their gates open towards anyone, even for the Demon cult members.
