300 years ago, A beautiful witch was born, her name was Rosette, her parents named her after the flower Rose, Many was haunting their family since they were both wealthy and powerful, so in order to protect Rosette, they gave up their wealth and a portion of their lifespan, when they gave up their lifespan, they became very weak, but Rosette was still healthy, when she grew up she became even more beautiful, she was kind and really attractive, so many was very envious of her, especially the most powerful and miserable witch, Rosette's parents died when she was a 11 and that's the time when the miserable witch started to mess with her life, the witch casted a spell to her, a spell that would make somebody that touch her leave in pain, the witch laughed and said, you are now very similar to a rose, for you have thorns, heh how pathetic. then Rosette said, how may I break this curse? Rosette was dumbfounded... she was still searching on how to break the curse, yet she found nothing. so she stopped searching for it, she then lay down in her comfy pink bed, and recalled some of her memories, she recalled the times when she was with her parents, and suddenly recalled her best buddy named Cyfer, Cyfer was very kind to her, Cyfer treated her like a sister, or even more than a sister, he treated her as his own princess, she remembered Cyfer promising her about getting married when they grow up, Cyfer had a younger brother named Gao, Gao was good looking, well manered and smart, he was also popular and he was called "the dream husband". Rosette knew Gao since Cyfer told her a lot about him but Gao never knew Rosette since he was always busy learning new magic. Cyfer was like Rosette's soulmate, they have the same favourites, hobbies and talents, Rosette upto now was still waiting and searching for Cyfer, but since she was busy searching on how to break the curse, she has already forgotten about it, she forgot her feelings and a lot more about Cyfer since they were separated for so long, Cyfer's family left when Rosette was 5, they left to another city named Phedelphia because it was there mom's hometown, they gone there because Cyfer's mom was missing, so they thought she was just at her hometown, but when they got to Phedelphia, Cyfer and Rosette lost all connections and never heard from each other again. Rosette was still waiting, and hoping that her prince Charming Cyfer will come, she waited for their promise to come true, a promise that they will be marrying each other when they grow up, Rosette turned down every one of her suitors because she was still waiting for her dear one.

A year later, Rosette was already 12 years of age, she started her High school life, Rosette is already living by herself in a young age, although she was alone, she was still living as how her paeents told her to, so she lived happily despite of all the hardships she encounters, no one would dare look at her, many people would accuse her too, but since she was taught by her parents to be well manered, she obeyed them, Rosette also knew that people had different standards and perspectives from one another, so she really respected them and didn't mind their harsh comments, but inside her, she was deeply hurt, she still insisted to go to school because it was her parent's dream, which was also her dream. On the first day of school, she was alone but she forced herself to let out a smile because she beleived that her parents' spirits are still watching her, she smiled so her parents wont know her sadness. when she was on the way to her calssroom, she met the young master Gao, everyone was shocked and envious when they knew that Gao was able to touch or hold her without any pain, Rosette thought that the curse was already broken, but Gao told her, you are of course a rose with thorns in it, but of course you can hold one, if you only know how to, and because of that, Rosette fell in love with him, Gao's family or the Xun family was very kind, fortunate, well respected and very powerful, but they can't solve Rosette's curse, Gao knew about this curse since he was studying about magic for about his whole life, Gao said that the cirse only breaks when it's the day before ger true love's death, so everyone already knew the solution since they were rumoured, so no one starts to pursue her for they thought that Rosette will kill her true love for herself, but they didn't know that when her true love dies, she'll disappear a minute before him, she was of course envious of those couples who were able to reach a long period of time, but after they graduated, they married each other and they made a symbol of love, an offspring was born, named Rosy, Gao named her after Rosette, Rosette knew that they can't last for long, but they were still able to prove their true love. Rosette and Gao were like the ideal couple, everyone wished for a relationship like theirs, they never hated each other because if they hate each other, even just a single amount of hatred will lessen their lifespan, that's what the witch's messenger told them, but the truth is the opposite, so obviously, they didn't knew why their lives were getting shorter and shorter, on the next day, after baby Rosy went to sleep, Rosette and Gao decided to go at a sacred library, they were finding other solutions for the curse, but they found nothing.

Gao knew that their lives were getting shorter and shorter, so he searched even harder, so he found one, the book says, you need to spill one lie which nobody ever knows, so they did what the book says, since evryone has secrets, they understood why they had lies and that, Rosette comes first and said, we were once a very powerful family but many sorcerers were hunting us down so my parents did everything they can to protect me, but nothing worked since many people already knew that, so she tried again and said, I once had a childhood friend whom I treated like a prince, I also loved him too. Gao wondered who it was, he doubted that it was his brother, but even if Gao didn't knew that secret, the curse was still there, so Gao said, maybe one person already knew that, how bout another secret? although Gao was hurt, he still understood and trusted Rosette, but Rosette was slightly confused, so she thought that Cyfer already knew that, so she proceeded to another secret, but she wasn't able to continue for a little note appeared before her, it says, " I already knew that you loved me , but when we gone to Phedelphia, I wasn't able to tell you about my love, so I tried to look for you my dear pincess, but when I found you, you were somebody else's Queen, so even if it hurts, I will still learn to accept it, wishing you a happy life with my younger brother! by the way I didn't show up in your wedding because I don't want to ruin the atmosphere. both of you, Dont worry about me, I'm living happily now and proud of you both. Rosette bursted into tears, she was dejected, for she thought that Cyfer abandoned her for a princess of his own, she was still hurt about knowing some truth, even if those times were already behind her. Gao was really hurt, he didnt felt jealous, but felt guilt instead, because he knew that his brother was looking for someone special and even almost lost his only life because of searching for her, Gao even promised Cyfer that he'll find the girl someday, but Cyfer didn't let him, he felt guilty when he knew that it was Rosette whom Cyfer was looking for, it was Rosette that Cyfer really loved dearly, of course Gao never knew that it was Rosette, his first love was his brother's first love too, although Cyfer already accepted them, Gao still couldn't accept himself, the atmosphere was kinda weird, so in order to change the subject Gao told her to please proceed, so she said, Gao, when I met you, I already knew that you were Cyfer's brother, so I wanted to get close to you to find Cyfer, but everytime I come near you, my feelings becomes stronger and stronger, and as time passes by, I have already forgotten your dear brother since I was so focused on you, our relationship and our future, although Rosette was kinda guilty, she still told the truth and then cried, then Gao said, don't cry, let past be buried in the past. then it's already Gao's turn, Gao said, every time I touch you, come near you, of course I felt pain like how the others did, but I chose to stay quiet, because I know that you'll avoid me if you know that I'll get hurt, I chose to sacrifice for us both to experience true love, after that, Rosette was moved, she cried and cried, she blamed herself about it, but Gao told her to be grateful instead so she did, she felt warm, but she didnt know that the warmness she felt was slowly melting Gao which is the reason why they were almost disappearing.
