Goodbye, My Love
I looked below the at the view from the window that i had broken just now
The building was ten storey tall
The chances of survival would be slim
I should not delay anymore. The noise that the shattering glass made was quiet loud
He and his cronies must be on their way to this room
As strange as it may seem, I just stood there, on the edge of the broken glass, without jumping.
Maybe I wanted to see the expression he would make when he sees me like this
Or maybe it was 'I' that wanted to see 'him' for one last time
I was disgusted by myself for having the thought of wanting to see him for one last time
But nevertheless, in my heart I knew that it was true
The sound of hurried footsteps could be heard quickly approaching the door...
I smirked as one of them applied blunt force on the door thinking that i had locked it
Maybe I wanted to see him for the last time before I even stood in front of death...

Kookie get away from the window. We can talk through this
Maybe I was too tired or fed up from all the 'talking' that we did in the past
And worse... he was the killer....
I hated myself for being happy at the fact that he called me Kookie after such a long time
The last time i would hear his voice...
As I stared out the window, I thought could there have been any other way this could've ended
No. This was the only way I could inflict any amount of pain on the great 'Kim Taehyung'
I glanced one last time at 'him'
His eyes were filled with tears and there was a sense of urgency as he quickly tried to grab my shirt as I fell down
My dearest 'past' lover for whom I was once willing to fight with my life
Then the world went black

The White Mansion
I opened my eyes and found myself in a place that looked like a mansion
Except for the unusual fact that the whole place was pure white...
Not a single speck of dirt
This place looked so... pure...
Unknowingly, as I got to my feet I started walking towards the door from which all the light was coming from
With each step I took forward, my head felt lighter
Now that I was wide awake, I started to hurry towards the door hungry for the warmth and comfort that it's light was giving me
Just as I was about to reach the doorstep, I felt a tug on my finger
I looked behind only to see a thin red thread tied to my left pinky
Thread seemed so.... fragile....
I knew for a fact that it would snap if I were to pull it a bit harder
But... for some strange reason, I didn't want to do that
I looked behind at the source from which the thread was coming from
And was much terrified to see a thick black fog covering the back of the mansion
The fog seemed so out of place in this serene white mansion....
Almost as if it were a piece of hell in paradise
I knew that I was afraid of the black fog... but.... I wanted to walk into it and get consumed by it at the same time...
I didn't want to let go of the red thread...
A strange pain resonated through my entire body as I stared at the red thread
As I found myself as a spectator in a strange scene
There was a boy sitting in front of me. Embroidering on a handkerchief
Another boy came and hugged the previous boy from behind

Kookie! You never have time for me *pouts*

*Pinches his nose* I have more than enough time for you. It's the fact that no matter how much time I have for you it's never going to be enough

Then why don't you just leave everything and spend every single moment with me(◍•ᴗ•◍)

*Grabs the reel of the red thread from which Jungkook was doing embroidery*

Taehyung I am going to my brother's house and staying there for a whole week if you don't give me back that thread right now

*Tears a long string of thread from the reel*

*Takes Jungkook's hand and ties one end of the thread to Jungkook's pinky finger and the other end to his own* There. Now you won't be able to escape from me even if you get tired

*Chuckles* Was this what you were worried about?

*pecks him on the cheek* No matter how tired I get of you, where would I go without my Tiger?
The scene abruptly ended and once again I found myself in the mansion where I had woken up
I couldn't recall ever seeing the faces that I saw right now...
But it seemed so familiar...
I looked back again towards the door which led to the warm light and back again towards the thread which lead to the dark fog
The thread which seemed so limp just a second ago, seemed to be encouraging me to walk into the black fog as if it could sense my hesitation...
It was time for me to choose

Choice
My head said to go towards the direction of the light but my heart said otherwise
I felt a sudden emptiness inside me now as I looked in the direction of the light
The emptiness was not sudden...
I have been feeling this emptiness ever since I opened my eyes in this place
But this was the same emptiness that felt comfortable to me when I first opened my eyes
But now.. for some reason after seeing that scene... it became uncomfortable....
I turned my head towards the dark fog
I knew in my heart that it had the answer to this emptiness that I was feeling
But the question was... did I want to find out....
Suddenly a realisation dawned on me
My head started to hurt badly as I clenched my fists
A singular tear dropped from my eye

I want him to call me that.... again...
I looked at the door which was beginning to close itself
Ah.... I have already chosen...
The red string gently tugged on my finger and I let it guide me
Soon, I was swallowed by that dark fog
The darkness became thicker and thicker untill I started falling into the abyss...
