The school bell rang loudly, students began to enter their classroom. A guy who has short, brown hair and brown eyes walked into a classroom. He called out someone name.

" Li xiang !! " He spotted a guy with short curly black hair and brown eyes who was sleeping. He sighed and walked towards him. He tapped the guy and the guy raised his head to look at him.

" Why are you sleeping now ?, didn't you sleep at home ?. I have noticed you are fond of sleeping in class "

" I don't know why I just get tired, Wang lei" Li xiang said as he sat up and stretched. Wang lei rolled his eyes and sat down beside him. Their biology teacher entered the class and the class commenced. After some while, it was lunch break, students headed to the cafeteria including Li xiang and Wang lei. They stood in the queue to get served. After Li xiang and Wang lei were served, they sat on a seat to eat.

" Xiang !!" A girl voice called out. Li xiang rolled his eyes, recognizing the voice while Wang lei face reddened. A girl who looked like the female version of Li xiang, but she was hot and sexy sat beside Li xiang

" What do you want ?, Xia" Li xiang asked while eating. Li Xia, Li xiang's younger sister pout her lips before speaking.

" I won't be coming home early today, I am going out after school. I and my friends are going to the public library to study for our upcoming project" Li xiang looked at her and raised his brow. She sighed and confessed.

" We are not going to the library, we are going out for a party but please help me to lie to mom that I went to the library after school." She said in a cute voice.

" Why don't you tell her that you are going to a party?. I won't lie to her" Li xiang told her then started eating his food. Li Xia tugged on his shirt lightly, making him to face her and she gave him the cutest eyes she could ever make.

" Please" She said softly. Li xiang sighed and looked away from her. He knew he couldn't resist her cute puppy face.

" Fine" He muttered. Li xia quickly hugged him.

" Thank you. This is why I love you" She pecked him and li xiang pulled her away from him. She stood up and made to leave then she noticed Wang lei staring at her.

" Hi, lei. How are you doing ?"

" Cool, I - I mean I'm doing fi - fine " Wang lei stammered, his face even getting more redder.

" Okay then, bye guys" She said as she left their sight

" So, you still have a crush on Xia" Li xiang said

" Yeah, that's why I am begging you to help me get her. I really like her and I want her to be my girlfriend. I promise I won't break her heart." Wang lei blurted out. Li xiang laughed and all of a sudden, he had a serious look.

" I will never allow my sister to date you "

" Why ?, but we are best friend "

" Because you are my best friend that is why I will never allow you, I mean never ever allow you to date my little sister. "

" Then, don't worry. I will woo her by myself, I don't need your help" Wang lei said as he started to eat. Li xiang dragged him by the collar and looked him in the eye.

" If I see you getting close to my sister more than normal friends limit. I will bury you alive that day" He said with a devilish voice and he smirked. Wang lei gulped and Li xiang released him. Wang lei knew Li xiang wasn't tough but it was the first time he saw him act this way and he felt the chill run down his spine.

The Li family are a normal, middle class family. Their father, Li Tao is a store owner and their mother, Li Jun owns a laundry business. Li xiang is 17 years of age and he is in the 12th grade. He is basically an introvert, he doesn't like to socialize with people and he is smart. Once it comes to strength, fitness and physique, he is not good in these aspects making him weak and a bit thin but he is cute. He and Wang lei have been best friend since kindergarten. Meanwhile, Li Xia is 16 years old and she is in the 11th grade. She is the total opposite of her brother, plus the smartness. She is the queen of party in their school, she is strong so no guy has ever messed with her, she is pretty, hot and sexy. Wang lei actually has been crushing on her since she was in 3rd grade.

Once, it was 3pm,school was over. Students started rushing out of school filling the street. Li xiang and Wang lei walked out of school together, immediately Wang lei driver called out to him. Wang lei is the only heir of the Wang family which are one of richest family in China.

" Let me give you a ride home" Wang lei offered.

" Don't worry, I want to get something on my way home. Anyways, thanks "

" Okay, bye" They did their signature handshake and they both departed.

Li xiang put his airpod in his ears,he listened to music all the way to a store. He removed the airpod and entered inside. A friendly face and smile greeted him.

" Hi, xiang " An American lady in her early 20s who works has a cashier greeted him

" Hi, lily. Where is my dad ?" He asked

" He is busy with some customers, he will be with you shortly " She responded. Some moments later, li Tao arrived

" Xiang, how was school today ?"

" Nice " Li xiang answered. Li Tao looked around as if looking for someone

" Where is Xia?, I thought you will be coming home together"

" She went for a group study at the public library "

" Wow, she is starting to improve in her study " Li xiang pursed his lips, if only his father knew that his daughter was at a party right now. His father handed him two bags of groceries.

" Give your mother, so she can prepare something nice with it for dinner and tell her to call me when you reach home" He instructed and Li xiang nodded in agreement. He walked the remaining way home.

Li xiang reached home and he ranged the door bell. A pretty woman with black hair and brown eyes who is like the older version of li xia, opened the door. She embraced him tightly in her arms.

" How was your day in school?, my baby" Li Jun, his mother queired.

" Fine, mom. I am no longer a child and you know we are still standing at the doorstep " She quickly released him, she allowed him to come in and she shut the door.

" I just can't help myself and to me you are still my baby. Soon, you will leave for the university and I will miss you so much " She said already tearing up.

" Mom, you are so overdramatic " He said as he dropped the grocery in the kitchen.

" Before I forget, dad said you should call him now " Li xiang said as he entered into his room. He took a shower and started doing his assignments. Someone knocked on his door.

" Come in" He shouted. His mom opened the door slightly and poked her head in.

" I forgot to ask, where is Xia ?"

" She went to the public library for a group study, she is studying for her upcoming project" Li xiang said sounding believable. His mom raised her eyebrow and stared at him. He felt like she is trying to read his mind and she is staring deep into his soul.

" Are you sure ?" She asked coldly

" Yes"

" You know the punishment you'll receive if I find out you are lying so if you are, better spill the beans "

" I am not lying"

" Alright" She said as she slowly closed the door. Li xiang swiftly breathe out.

" Xia wants to put me in trouble" He thought.

Some hours had pass, now it was 7pm and Li Xia hadn't come back. His mother was getting worried about her.

" Are you sure she went to the library? " Li Jun questioned

" Yes. Let me try calling her" Li xiang told her as he dialed her number. It rang but she didn't answer. He tried her line several times but no answer, this made his mom more worried.

" Mom, calm down. Let me try calling her friends" He called both her friends, Amy and Huang but none of them answered.

" Let's still give her some time, she might come back soon" Li xiang uttered.

Two hours passed, it was already 9pm and she wasn't back yet, so as his father but his dad had call to inform that he would close the store by 11pm.

" Mom, maybe she had gone to Amy house to sleep over and she forgot to call. Let me go and check "

" Alright but be careful" Li xiang left.

He boarded a bus and soon arrived at Amy house. He rang the doorbell and Vivian, his classmate and Amy elder sister opened the door.

" Is" They chorused together before they stopped. Vivian blushed and looked away.

" You start first" She said a little shy.

" Sorry to bother you so late but is Xia at your place ?"

" No, I wanted to ask if Amy was in your place. She hasn't come back, I was about to come to your place. I have checked Huang's place, she is not around either. My parents are not at home, I will be in serious trouble if anything happened to Amy" After hearing Vivian explanation, Li xiang ran his fingers through his hair and sighed.

" Xia said they are going to a party but I don't know which party she was talking about" He said

" Hmm, I know. Amy told me that there is a huge party going on in Jade garden which is a nightclub but I didn't know she will go there with her friends" Vivian informed.

" Nightclubs are dangerous for girls their age especially now it is getting late" he said.

" I will go there to check for them. Thanks for the information" He told her as he was about to leave. She stopped him.

" I'm following you" Before he could object, she entered inside. She came out wearing a pair of slippers, and she locked the door.

They entered a taxi. Couple of minutes, they arrived at the club. They entered, the smell of cigarettes and alcohols hit their nose. Vivian covered her nose and held Li xiang tight. They searched around and finally found Amy and Huang, Amy was drunk while Huang was tipsy, but they didn't see Xia.

" Where is Xia ?" Li xiang asked them. They simply laughed and were talking gibberish.

" Stay with them. I will go look for Xia" He said as he left them.

He looked around, but couldn't find her. Instantly he heard her voice at a corner of the club, he squeezed through people to pass. Xia was wearing a short tight miniskirt and a tight crop top. The clothes weren't really covering her body, it exposed her body making her look hotter. A huge, muscular man was struggling with her, he pinned her to the wall and this made Li xiang angry. He saw a bottle of alcohol, he took it and abruptly broke it on the man head. Surprisingly, the man didn't fall unconscious instead he left Xia and turned to xiang. He suddenly picked xiang up easily with his two hands.

" How dare you break a bottle on my head" The man said angrily and he was about to punch Li Xiang. Li Xiang closed his eyes for the impact, as the blow about to touch him, police sirens were heard.

" The police are here" Someone shouted. The man let go of Li Xiang, causing him to land on his butt and ran away. Li Xiang quickly got Xia who was drunk, he took her to where Amy, Huang and Vivian were staying. They immediately got out of the club before the police entered.

Both Vivian and Li Xiang were able to take all three of them to Vivian's place. Li Xiang checked his phone, he had 10 missed calls from his mom and 6 from his dad. He called his dad and after two rings, he answered.

" Li Xiang, where are you ?, what about Xia, where is she ?"

" Dad, calm down. Xia is in Amy's place and I am there also. When I got there, they were studying and Vivian was helping them. I was also asked to help them, I just got distracted and forgot that it was late. I will come home now" The lie flowed out smoothly. Li Tao let out a sigh of relief

" Come home soon" He said. Li Xiang hanged up, he waved goodbye to Vivian and left. He got home, explained to his mom and went to bed. He got school tomorrow so he needed to rest but he couldn't help to think about the scene with the muscular man

" Thanks for everything. Vivian told me everything that happened yesterday." She said calmly.

" You're my sister so don't thank me" She smiled at Wang lei who started blushing and she went out of the class.

Class commenced. On the last class before lunch break, the teacher didn't attend their class because of an issue so they had free period. At the back of the class, some group of students were playing a game, abruptly another game popped up on their screen. It was titled THE SURVIVAL GAME and it had a cute white bunny beside it then the white bunny spoke.

" 24 hours before game download. Count down begins; 24:00:00"

" 24hrs:60 mins:60 secs" They tried to cancel the game, but they couldn't. They got confused and didn't know what was happening.

In an arcade, children were playing different games before all of a sudden the game appeared on the screen titled THE SURVIVAL GAME and it also began counting down.

" What is going on ?" A guy asked. They called the attention of the arcade owner, he tried different ways to cancel the game but nothing worked.

" Which type of game is this? Or is this a virus ?" He wondered.

A rich businessman was in his office working on his laptop, instantly the game popped on the screen, counting down.

" What the hell is this?" He thought. He tried canceling it but like the rest, he couldn't cancel it.

" Sir" Jacob answered as he entered. He faced the laptop to him

" Sir, this game appeared on all our laptops, computers and phones in the company. Our computer tech team are trying their possible best to cancel it"

Currently, the important figures in the government of China were gathered together to discuss the count-down that began in the world.
