I think you are at least handsome enough to attend the party. Maybe a lot of the girls will have a second look at you. You must be excited about that.
Brix
But of course, I know you're not. You don't need a lot of girls looking at you. You only need ‘her’ to look at you, to notice you, to remember you. She is more than enough.

Wow! I still can't believe the fact that I've been home for almost two weeks now. And this post valentine's party is gonna be my first-ever activity to attend.

I still believe that being a full-time missionary for almost two years is one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life. No regrets, at all.
Someone knocks on the door.

What's taking you so long? The driver has already arrived. Don't let him wait for you for such a long time.
Brix
Of course, I won't let that happen. I'm just about to go downstairs. Please let him know that I'll be there very soon, aunt.
Gayle
Okay, I will do that. But I hope it's true.

Oh, what do I look like today? Do I look okay? Or do I look pale? This is insane. Why does she have to force me to attend this party. I just hope no one could notice that I cried so hard last night.
Standing up from her bed, she remembered something.

Oh no! I almost forgot that I've told him I won't be coming tonight. What if he attended the party and he saw me, I would look like a liar. Jacel, truly, you are giving me so much stress.
She brought out her phone and started typing a message.
Mitch
💬Hi! Actually, I will be attending tonight's party. See you around!💬

Wow! This venue looks so beautiful and expensive. They must have prepared for this, surely. Truly, I'm blessed to be a member of His Church. I'm not a perfect human being, but He's giving me such an opportunity like this.
