The Billionaire's Muse

Chapter 1: The Argument

Chapter 1: ~~The Argument

"Dad!! I won't marry that dirty old bastard" Taylor yelled at Mr Matthews.

"Shutup, you will do as I say because I am your Father!!" "I decide things that goes on in this family!" "So why not now?!" retorted Mr Matthews.

"This is my life and I'll live it the way I want it to be and marry who I want to be with" "You can't force me to marry some random old hog just for the sake of *Business Partnership*" she said while air quoting.

Mr Matthews took the vase on the table near him and threw it at Taylor, which missed her head merely by 3 inches. Taylor looked at her Father in shock, her Mother who was also present was shocked as well.

"Dad, so you were going to hit me with the vase?" She asked still looking shocked. "Why wouldn't I? When I have an ungrateful, selfish, irritating brat as a daughter like you" angrily said by Mr Mathews.

"Me selfish and ungrateful? How can you say I'm selfish? When I've sacrificed so much just to make you proud of me and now you're saying I'm selfish?!" She said as she was breaking down in tears.

"All my life, I've always listened to you, not breaking any of your rules" "And when you asked me to take over the Family Business, I had to push away my dream of becoming a Writer and went into Business just like you asked of me, so I did, I took the place of Eldest Brother ever since he fell into coma!!" "Now you're calling me selfish, upon all the sacrifices and responsibilities I have to carry as the Third Child of the Family!"

She continues to yell and cry at the same time, "Ever since Brother Trevor died, things in this family have been going down!" "I missed him, If he was here, He wouldn't had allowed this to happen".

Then a sound was made, Mr Matthews slapped Taylor across as her, as she turned to her Father in disbelief. He then said, "Don't you dare bring up the matter of your Late Brother in the presence of your Mother!!". But it was too late, as she already heard everything she said, Mrs Mathews felt a pain stung to her heart as she heard Trevor's name again. Immediately, tears started to flow from her eyes and she said, "Tr..evvorr, My ba..by...is..go.nne" "Tr..evvorr" she began to stutter as she was weeping.

Mr Matthews immediately went by her side and comforted her but she kept crying and calling out her Late Son's name, "Tre..vorr why did.. you...leave us?". She fell on her Husband's chest and continued sobbing.

Taylor just kept standing as she witnessed her Mother crying. It's been 5 years since Trevor died, even though it's been long its strikes an emotional trigger in all of us at the mention of his name. Even little Julian can't even remember Trevor since he died when he was too little.

I felt bad for reminding the past, but what can I do? If he didn't died none of this would have happened. Our family wouldn't been tearing apart, Elder Brother, Josiah wouldn't had been in a coma and I wouldn't have to so many responsibilities if he was here.

💭: I miss you Trevor, I wish you were here to protect me, She wished. She couldn't stay here again, staying here would only make things worst for her Family. 💭: I have to leave here, matters will only just get worst if I stay here to long.

She decided that once it's dawn she'll leave the Mansion. Exactly by dawn, Taylor began to pack her bags and escape through the secret tunnel behind their old Mansion, as she was packing the things she'll need, Julian was awake and went to her room feeling a disturbed feeling he went to see his sister on the arrival of her packing her luggages and was leaving.

"Are you really going to leave?" The little 11 years old boy asked. She was surprised as she turned to see Julian in his cute froggy pajamas. Seeing his sad expression she said to him reassuringly, "No, of course not" "Why would Big Sis want to leave you?". He said "Because I heard Big Sister and Papa arguing and Papa slapped Big Sister" "Why did Papa slapped Big Sister??" He said looking confused, sad and scared. She was shocked. 💭: Julian heard everything?! He was about to cry as she held him and hugged him.

"No, don't be upset" "Dad and I just had a little quarrel, nothing else, okay?" She said while looking at him. "Then why is Big Sister packing her bags? Are you running away? Julian asked while looking at her already packed luggages and began to cry, "Waaahhh, don't..leave, Sister!". On seeing this she quickly hushed him and said "No, no, no, Big Sister is not leaving you, She's just going on a trip and will come back very soon" "Really?" He asked. "Definitely, I'll come back very soon and when I will, we'll play many games, okay?" She said, "Okay" he replied obediently amd waved her good bye and returned back to his room.

Taylor quickly collected her things and made her way to the secret entrance at the back of the Mansion, where her car was parked carefully. She put her luggages in the trunk of her car and got in the driver's seat and started driving far away from the Mansion. With the money she made during the years she saved it in her personal account. She arrived at XXX Airport and quickly bought her plane ticket and boarded the next plane to Tokyo, Japan.

She was finally free from the clutches of her Father and ready to pave way for her new freedom. So she thought, who knows what will wait ahead for her in this journey. New challenges? Problems? Enemies?

Chapter 2

Chapter 2: ~~A Fresh Start

In the Airplane:

As Taylor boarded the plane she felt a new found hope inside of her. She slipped into her seat sighed in relaxation, making herself comfortable. She was already thinking about how her new life would be in a new place. She said "Ahh, I can't wait to start a Fresh start in New place" "No family, no responsibilities, And no..ugh...Fiancé" shs said in disgust and screamed in the plane "FINALLY, I'M FREEEE! FREE I'LL TELL YA!" while lifting her hands up and bursting into a celebratory laughter and felt she people's eyes staring at her.

Everybody in the plane were giving her strange looks. Especially the man seated next to her calling her a madwoman. She felt pissed and awkward at the same time but decides not to let that ruin her mood.

💭: "I finally escaped from the clutches of my Father, nothing can trample on my happiness, ha, ha, ha!". As the plane soared through the skies, Taylor pulled out her journal and began to write. She was working on a novel, a romance story set in the bustling streets of Tokyo. She had always been fascinated by the city's energy and culture, and she couldn't wait to experience it firsthand.

As Taylor wrote in her journal, she drew inspiration from her own experiences. Her protagonist, Alexandra, was a strong-willed and independent young woman who had just escaped her controlling father's grasp. Alexandra was determined to make a new life for herself in Tokyo, free from the shackles of her past.

Taylor's pen scratched across the page, the words flowing effortlessly as she described Alexandra's journey. She wrote of Alexandra's excitement and nervousness as she explored the city, of her determination to learn Japanese and make new friends. She wrote of Alexandra's struggles to adjust to her new life, of the homesickness and loneliness that threatened to overwhelm her.

But Taylor also wrote of Alexandra's resilience and courage, of her refusal to give up in the face of adversity. She wrote of Alexandra's growing confidence and independence, of her blossoming romance with a kind and handsome stranger.

As Taylor wrote, she felt like she was living vicariously through Alexandra. She was pouring her own hopes and dreams into the story, her own desires for freedom and independence. The words on the page were her own declaration of independence, her own celebration of her newfound freedom.

As the plane hit turbulence, Taylor's pen skipped across the page, leaving a trail of squiggly lines and illegible words. She laughed, feeling a sense of carefreeness wash over her. She was finally doing something for herself, something that brought her joy and fulfillment.

The man sitting next to her, who had earlier called her a madwoman, looked at her with a mixture of curiosity and amusement. "You're a writer, huh?" he asked, his voice laced with sarcasm.

Taylor smiled, unfazed by his tone. "Yeah, I'm working on a novel," she replied, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

The man raised an eyebrow. "A romance novel, I presume?"

Taylor nodded, her cheeks flushing slightly. "Guilty as charged."

The man chuckled, shaking his head. "You're an interesting one, I'll give you that."

Taylor continued to share more with the stranger. But something about the man's kind eyes put her at ease. "I'm working on a novel," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

The man's face lit up with excitement. "A novel! That's wonderful. I've always been a fan of romance novels. Is that what you're writing?"

Taylor's cheeks flushed, but she nodded, feeling a sense of pride. "Yes, it is."

The man smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Well, I wish you the best of luck, Taylor-san. I'm sure your novel will be a great success."

As the plane continued on its journey, Taylor immersed herself in her writing, the words flowing effortlessly onto the page. She was in her element, lost in the world of her creation.

And when the plane finally landed in Tokyo, Taylor felt a sense of excitement and trepidation. She was finally here, in the city of her dreams. And she was ready to take on whatever adventures came her way.

Chapter 3

Chapter 3: Searching for a Lifeline

Taylor settled into her new life in Tokyo, her days blending together in a haze of exploration and writing. As the daughter of an American billionaire, she was used to a life of luxury, but she had left that all behind to chase her dreams of becoming a published author.

Her savings were substantial, but she knew they wouldn't last forever. She needed to find an investor for her novel, and fast. With a sense of determination, Taylor scoured the city, attending writing workshops and literary events, hoping to network with potential investors. She spent hours researching online, scouring websites and social media for anyone who might be interested in her work.

But every lead seemed to end in disappointment, every door shut in her face. Taylor's hope began to wane, her confidence shaken by the constant rejection. She felt like a small boat adrift in a stormy sea, battered by self-doubt and uncertainty.

As the days turned into weeks, Taylor's anxiety grew. She had always been independent, but now she felt like she was drowning in a sea of uncertainty. Her parents had offered to support her, but Taylor was determined to make it on her own. She didn't want to rely on her family's wealth and influence to get her book published.

One rainy evening, as she sat in her tiny apartment, staring at her laptop screen with frustration, Taylor felt like she was running out of time. Her savings were still intact, but she knew they wouldn't last forever. She needed a breakthrough, and she needed it fast.

Taylor stood up and walked over to the window, gazing out at the rain-soaked streets of Tokyo. She felt like she was stuck in a rut, like she was going nowhere fast. She thought about all the times she had been rejected, all the times she had been told that her writing wasn't good enough.

But Taylor refused to give up. She knew that she had talent, and she was determined to prove it to the world. She took a deep breath and sat back down at her laptop, her fingers flying across the keyboard as she searched for any opportunity that might come her way.

As she scrolled through the writing forum, Taylor's eyes landed on a post that caught her attention. Someone was looking for new talent, and they were willing to take a chance on an unpublished author. Taylor's heart raced as she read the post, her mind racing with possibilities. Could this be the break she had been waiting for?

She quickly typed out a response, her fingers trembling with excitement. She attached a sample of her writing and hit send, her heart pounding in her chest. And then, she waited.

The minutes ticked by, each one feeling like an eternity. Taylor's mind raced with possibilities, her imagination running wild with thoughts of publication and success. She thought about all the times she had been rejected, all the times she had been told that her writing wasn't good enough.

But Taylor refused to give up. She knew that she had talent, and she was determined to prove it to the world. She took a deep breath and stood up, walking over to the window to gaze out at the rain-soaked streets of Tokyo. She felt like she was on the brink of something big, something that could change her life forever.

And then, just as she was starting to lose hope, Taylor's laptop pinged, signaling a response to her message. She rushed back to her laptop, her heart racing with excitement. Could this be the break she had been waiting for? She opened the message, her eyes scanning the screen with anticipation. Little did she know, her life was about to change forever.
