"Mer" comes from an old English word "mere" which stands for " from the sea"
And "maid" stands for "woman".
Their upper body is like humans, but their lower body is like fish.
There is no proof if they really exist or not, but there are many rumors about them.
Some think that it's just an imaginary creature and others think that they do exist, but they live in the deep sea, and also they have magical powers so no one can see them.
Even people think of it as a rumor, but everyone is aware of their heavenly seductive beauty.
They can attract anyone with their half human attractive body.
Not just mermaids but the males are also attractive.
The male's are known as merman.
Mermaids and mermen symbolise sin .
Some cultures consider mermaids as bad omens.
According to them first they attract humans with their beauty and also with sweet songs and then make them their prey.
And another rumour according to folklore Mermaids can live up to 300 years and will turn to foam on the surface of water once they are dead.
Their lives are also like us but under water.
They live eating small fishes.
And fish like dolphins are their best friend.
They also fell in love like humans and spent their lives with their partner mermen.
And even if they are half humans they breed by laying eggs.
But still they are very less in number as it's really hard for the mermaid baby to survive.
So they always stay together in a group.
But what would happen if one of the innocent sea princesses got separated from her group and entered the unknown human world.
And what would happen if she fell in love with an Adam's son.
Will they be able to finish their story against nature.
