The interior of the house was breathtaking. For a moment, Annie forgot how to breathe. She was an interior designer herself but had never laid eyes on such a beautiful house.

During their conversation, Annie was more focused on Johnny. He was the less-talking type. She was amazed that he was trying to defend himself and involuntarily defending their relationship.
Not only that, she already knew that he wouldn't cheat on her. She made a scene only to get even with him for disappearing without a word.
Johnny
You don’t even know how hard it has been on me
Johnny's sudden burst snapped her out, Annie watched as he looked like he was gonna explode

She instantly sprang up and stood in front of Johnny. Startling both Carla and him

Hey, I don't know who you are, but I'm done listening to your continuous yapping
Annie
But I can't stand her, She's not even trying to understand a word of what you're saying

Johnny's eyes widened, and he looked deep into thoughts

Johnny unconsciously grabs Annie's hand. She flinches but doesn't move. For a moment, both stayed still, glancing in each other's eyes. It was like they found something that had been missing in their life

*Glances back at him

You know what, do whatever you want but just don't get caught

A smile graces Annie's lips, and she hugs Carla

Instead of following him, Annie stays right where she was and not budged at all
