At morning

Place- Waltmare main Villa

"The master and the young master arrived at midnight yesterday."

Two maids are talking with each other at the long corridor of the villa while cleaning the windows.

" Really?" One of them replies with surprise.

"yes. The young master was sleeping .So master carry him to his bed." The other maid says .

"But I have not seen young master in the morning in his room."

" He was probably with master. "

" yep. The master and young master are quite close. "

" Master dots on him."

" why wouldn't he? young master is such a sweet adorable baby. He is so cute ."

" Yeah . Our young master is the most adorable baby." (*total fangirl mood)

"achoo...." A young boy, as he is sneaking into the study room , sneezes softly. " who is cursing me?" He says as quietly as possible.

"Come in." A voice deeper than the ocean starles the little young master.

The cute little boy sulks for a moment.'So I am found out...... UGH!!!!!! mission failed today too. ' The little boy closed the door and walks towards his father. His father takes him on his lap .He looks at his son and asks ,

"Are you still sleepy?"

"The boy nods."

"Then have some sleep." Mr.Waltmate patted at his son's back gently. The little boy falls asleep in no time. Mr. Waltmare eyes soften a little. He takes his son to his bed.

' He must be tired from traveling for so long.'

A few days later

place-xxapartment ,no-401

"STARS CAN'T SHINE WITHOUT DARKNESS.' Should I replace it with 'WINNERS ARE NOT PEOPLE WHO NEVER FAIL BUT PEOPLE WHO NEVER QUIT.'

"Hmm...."

Jenny sees to the right and left again and again. Two quotes and one place. She seems to be deep in thought thinking what would be the best quote to hang on the wall. One suits her and the other suits her temperament. Herself over her temperament or her temperament over herself. But aren't both of them the other side of the same coin? Our temperament is the one that define ourselves. It's a part of who we are. Jenny looks at the other side of the table. Piles of cloths and papers that scatter around the room , with whom Miri is playing, makes the room look more disorganize than it already is.

" Oh no ! Miri stop playing . Those are very important papers. My life depends on it. "

Those are the papers she spent hours on researching CX group. It is related to their current news investigation report with Anna. She gently pat her back and takes the papers from her and put it back to the file.

Her conversation with Anna at late night a few days ago come to her mind. Anna sounded quite disappointed for they could not tail the other party till the end. Her voice was trembling at that time.

" Anna , did Something happen? are you ok?"

" I am fine."

" Where are you right now? "

" I am at my apartment. Jenny we could not tail them till the end. We lost their track. We managed to get some snaps. But these are not clear. All of them were wearing masks and gloves. They were hard to recognize." Anna sighed.

So they could not find the secret party that was involved in the accident.

At first they all thought that it was just a mere road accident . But Anna had hard time believing it. So she started to investigate the report by herself. And Jenny decided to help her out. Although it's hard for them to get information even as a reporter from a more than an average agency, they got to know that the men that died in the accident with drugs is an employee of CX. But there is another party who is involved in this . The one that the drug dealer was supposed to carry the drugs for. But they failed to get information on this.

"Achooo..... Hmm .. the dust here seems to be pretty thick. "She says while cleaning the upper surface of the closet. It's been a while, like three months, when she last rearrange her apartment. Today, after submitting her paper work she got plenty of time to herself. So she decided to clean and rearrange the apartment. She takes away the bedsheet and the covers to wash and clean the kitchen .The apartment looks organised now .

" Phew~! Next is the floor and the windows than I would be finished. "A smile of satisfaction run through her face.

* Bark**Bark*

Miri softly rub her face with Jenny's leg .

"Dear .... you must be hungry . " She takes Miri up and goes to the kitchen . She takes out dog food and also meat and water for Miri.

*cling*

*cling**cling**cling**cling*.

Her phone rings. Someone is messaging her. Is it Anna? She takes the phone and opens up the screen.

*you have 5 messages from Elly. *

'Yeah ! I should have known' . She smiles.

*12.35 pm : Elly: Are you working? *

*12.35.pm: Elly:Did you submit the paper work? *

*12.38 pm : Elly: Did you pull an allnighter again? OMG !!! You shouldn't do that . Are you drunk- sleeping now ? *

*12.40 pm: Elly: Haaa.... !!! sleep tight then . But don't forget tomorrow's reunion. Everyone is looking forward to meet you after so long.*

*12.45 pm:Elly: See you dar~ling.*

'Had she always been that persistent ?' Jenny thinks. Every time Elly brings up something like reunion, Jenny always refuse to attend. Seems like she is determined this time. Jenny's eyes stop at the second last message Elly sent .Does everyone still remember her? How is everyone. She had never gone to the university again after graduation. She didn't keep any contact with anyone either. It's like she had disappeared from everyone's sight after graduation . They might think that she is a looner. So meeting them after seven years without keeping in touch is kind of awkward. But.....

" I think I should go. Even if it's been a long time, I should go. "

She starts to type a reply to Elly.

*Jenny: 1.04 pm: You are quite free for a resident doctor .*

*Jenny:1.04 pm : Do you have time in the afternoon? *

* Jenny: 1.04 pm : If you have then let's go for shopping .*

*Jenny :1.05 pm : we don't have much time for tomorrow's reunion. *

At City hospital

time - 1.00pm

The hospital is quite busy at this time especially the outpatient department. Elly decides to take a break. She came out of the ward and walk straight to the hall.

"Dr. Elly we are going to the cafeteria . Want to join?"

"Sure."Elly replies with a smile.

Elly has been pretty popular from her school days among everyone because of her easy going personality. Here is no exception. But only her closed one knows her blunt and cursing mouth.

"Dr.Elly , are you alright. "

" Huh ... Oh yeah .. I am fine. "

" you have been checking your phone for a while now. "

" Elly do have any good news to share. "

"Dr.Elly is pretty and capable. It's no wonder if she got together with someone. "

"Dr. Elly, is this true?"

The constant comments from her colleague make her more annoyed she was before. She messaged Jeeny earlier. Yesterday she reminded her not to wake up all night. But it seems like she did.

"Of course not . How can I find time for anyone else when i am already so busy with my residency." Elly replies them with an adorable smile and continue seeing the earlier messages of her and Jenny. Suddenly the status bar shows online. And then typing.

"Huh... typing.. that means she didn't wake up all night. " Elly murmurs to herself. She becomes very surprised and happy at the same time.

*cling**cling*

Elly's colleagues become more curious as her phone keeps ringing with messages . Elly's face light up with happiness.

"Dr.Elly are you really not seeing anyone?"

"I have doubts though."

"yeah .. seeing how your face glows up with those messages, it must be from someone special."

Her colleagues continous teases makes her want to tease them too.

"Oh Yes . You are right. These are messages from my girlfriend. We have a date tonight."

GIRLFRIEND!!!!!!!!!

"Oh it's already 1.30 pm . I have to hurry. I will leave first ." Elly leaves them as she has to do her duty. Elly's confession left the other doctors in complete silence.

Time-morning

The door of the study opens up slightly . A cute little boy's head pop up at the edge. He has blue eyes and black hair. He peeks at the right and then left .

"Seems like Daddy is not here. It's a lucky day. Let's complete my mission." He left his tinny hand from the door holder and step inside the study as quiet as possible.

"What are you doing here , Sein ? "

A deep voice startles the little kid.

Mr.Waltmare is standing right behind him leaning his shoulder on the wall overlapping his hands on each other with a water bottle in his hand .

"Daddy you frightened me. How come you always wake up so early even though you sleep late. " The little kid complain his dad as his morning mission of sneaking around the study to get his father's cherished pendent fails as usual.

Mr.Waltmare is wearing a black trouser and black shirt . Everyone can tell that he just come out after doing exercise. Sweat is dripping from the corner of his black hair. He is sweaty all over. It makes his abs visible. His gaze of the amber eyes soften as soon as he saw his son.

It's no wonder he is the dream husband of the nation even though he has a son. Mr . Andrew Waltmare , he is rich, handsome, and also young, only 30. He is the young president of CX group. His cold and fierce personality only add another level of attraction to his charm.

He leans himself to the level of his five years old son and strokes his hair gently and smiles. If anyone else see this right now they could not believe that he is the same cold businessman of CX. He pick his son up and closes the study door and walks away to the dinning. The son looks back to the study door , after all he is determined to find out the pendent. But today he failed so he must be waiting for next time patiently.

At Waltmare villa

Sein put the phone on the sofa. His entire face shows how upset he is. The butler and the maids are peeking at him from the edge of the door anxiously. After all their young master also inherits the big cold temper of their master.

Sein takes the phone again, power on the screen then scroll down the contacts.Its not like he has many people to contact with . On the contrary, there are only a few numbers saved on his phone. He scroll down again . Then pouts with displeasure. He throws the phone to the sofa again. The butler and the maids watching him from afar get startled.

"Mr.Mayr what happened to little master? "the maid whispers to the Butler's ear anxiously.

"I am confused too." The butler replies with the same tone as the maid.

"The master and the young master got into an argument." Another maid tries to interpret Sein's strange attitude.

"But they were dinning happily as usual this morning." The maid says.

"Yeah .. everything was normal as usual. But he is behaving like this after he started to play with the iPad. "The butler says seriously. They have no idea what is bothering their young master . And it concerns them even more.

*Sigh**

Sein sighs . And looks down to the floor. The people watching him for a while got even more anxious.

"Oh no ... our little master .... why is he sighing? Is he sad?"

" Did he really got an argument with master? "

" No... did he got bullied by the children in his school?"

"Our precious young master!! don't be sad. You have us."

The maids make a fuss at the door. They are quite concern and sad for their precious cute little master. The butler is looking at them standing not so far away from them. His face has a ' Don't be stupid ' look written all over it . Of course he wouldn't believe that . He is concerned but he would not believe that the young master would get bullied by anyone.

Sein has no idea that there are people that are so much concerned about him watching him from a far. He is lost in thoughts. The tabloid gossips make him irritated. Every time he scroll down the internet the gossips about president of CX group and some celebrity or other figures makes him irritated. They don't even clearly show his father's face. Andrew rarely comes to spotlight. His appearance is so rare that most people have no idea how he actually look like. It is uncle ray and his assistants that appears on behalf of Andrew. So gossiping about him based on groundless remours is really upsetting. Andrew doesn't care about those gossips. It is uncle ray who takes care of them. Sein scroll down further and further furiously. This only add more irritation. But today he is more furious because today's morning was upsetting.

at the dinning room, Waltmare main Villa

The father and son splitting similar images walks towards the dinning table. Many delicious dishes were served according to their taste preference. They started eating . Suddenly Andrew's phone rang . A female voice pop up. Sein looks at his father.

" Andrew dar~ling! what are you doing ?" The voice is sweet with a trace of sexiness added to it.

" ........" Andrew didn't replied.

" Hahaha... are you shy ? you are so sweet ...are you going to the party at grand hotel tomorrow night? We should go togeth...." Andrew hanged up and continue eating.

"Dad are you going to a party tomorrow night?" Sein asked with a bright smile.

" yeah ... " His father replies briefly.

"Umm.... that aunt is going with you? " Sein asked with the same bright tone . But deep down he doesn't want his father to go with her.

" of course not " his father replies immediately.

" Then father must already have a female companion .Dad who is she?" Sein asks curiously.

*Silence**

This means Andrew doesn't not have a female companion for the party. well , it's not a must after all .

"umm.. Daddy can I go with you to the party?" Sein asks as cutely as possible.

"No . you shouldn't come . " Andrew replies coldly. Sein already knows the answer. It has always been the same. His father treats him with care and love yet he has never allowed him to go to a gathering with him. Sein doesn't understand the contrast . He can go with any woman yet he wouldn't go with his own son . why is that ? Is it related to the pendent that his father kept all this time ? Sein just couldn't understand it

"I see this aunty maybe knows a little about Daddy . She is more persistent than others." Sein's eye stops at a news released on the newssite a month's ago. It was a newly rising actress in her twenties. He clicks at the interview of her.

" OH ... it's the same voice from today's call at the dinning in this morning."

Sein listen carefully to her interview. Seems like another one sided story she makes up like the countless previous ones. But she is persistent .' But what would be her reaction if she knows about me?' Sein thinks.

"Heheheheh....!!!!!! found you . "

Sein dialed.

" Hello... big bro Simon ?"

"yeah. Sein .. what is it? Do you want to talk to Andrew?"

" No. it's you only."

"Oh!! what is it?" Simon seems very happy. He asks excitedly.

"Big bro ... is Daddy going to a party tomorrow night?"

"yeah ... I will be with your daddy tomorrow . Sorry I can't play with you."

" it's fine. I will tell grandma that your gossips with the new singer is real."

" don't worry Sein I will always be there for you. what shall we play tomorrow?" His decision change pretty quickly.

"Ok... then meet you in the afternoon."

"we are going somewhere?"

"yep .. maybe Stuart street would be best."

"huh?"

Sein hang up the phone.

Sein laughs darkly as if he got a new toy to play with.

His laugh gives sudden chills to the butler and the maids watching him afar.

"why is the young master seems ... a bit .. scary?"

" It's 4.45 pm now. She should be here." Elly looks at her watch . She is waiting for Jeeny.

" Did you wait for me too long?" Jenny smiles. She was wearing blue jeans and a black top with a long shaked shirt covering it . She looks beautiful even with this simple dressing.

" Yep. you are fifteen minutes late ." Elly shows her phone screen to Jenny.

"By the way.. what's with this dress up?"

Elly is smiling. But Jenny can feel the scary annoyed vibes from Elly.

"Umm ... Elly ..."Jenny murmurs

" I think Perris fashion would be best for a beautiful dress." Elly is still smiling.

"yeah let's go."

Jenny takes Elly's hand and goes towards the shop.

at afternoon

place-Waltmare villa

A black Lamborghini passes through the opened gate of the villa and stops at the main entrance to the villa. The gate that momentarily opened up for the car to pass closed up again. The door is opened and a handsome man comes out of it. He has beautiful blue eyes and blone hair, probably dyed it for a while. He is tall and sturdy. But does not have an ounce of extra meet. His gaze is warm and playful enough to make anyone bewitched.

"welcome back fourth master ." The butler welcome the fourth master of the family , Simon Waltmare. Simon smiles ..

"So , where is the little pie.?"

Simon and the butler behind him walk through the hall and the staircases . They finally get to Sein's room. Simon knocks at the door . The plate hanging on the upper surface of the door where written " outsiders are not allowed." , slightly trembles.

" young master fourth master is here to see you." The butler informs . The young master open the door.

" Uncle Simon!!!!! you are here!" Sein jumps into Simon's arm happily. Simon catches him and embraces him.

" Uncle.. I have been waiting for you.. it's been so long ...."Sein says with smile.

"Uncle misses you too , my dear." Simon patted his head.

" Uncle you remember the promise this morning . Don't you?"

" Of course.. Let's go."

The two of them goes outside and walk towards the black Lamborghini.

" Fourth master you should take some bodyguards with you. " The butler says.

" It's fine . It's a secret outing anyway. please keep it from Daddy." Sein requests the butler cutely.

"We will be back soon. Don't worry." Simon starts the car and they depart.

"Fourth master, Young master ... you should take some bodyguards with you." The Butler's scream doesn't even reaches their ears.

At Perris fashion

Beautiful pieces of clothes are lavishly arranged in the different raws in defferent places of the store. From very luxurious to easily affordable ones.. everything is arranged in an orderly manner. Clothes aren't the only thing you can find here. There are other luxury goods too. The clothes are shining under the bright lights of the shop makes it more difficult to choose from the different beautiful dresses. Jenny walks through many beautiful dresses but could not decide what to choose. It's not like she doesn't have a great sense of fashion. She just likes to wear comfortable clothes.

" All of them are quite pretty. It's difficult for me to choose one." Jenny says to Elly. Elly is deep in thoughts. Seems like she get a hard time deciding too.

" Yeah .. let's try all of it." Elly suggests .

" That would be too much. "Jenny shakes her head in disapproval. Trying all the dresses and choosing one ...of course it would be too much. The trail room is not for them only.

"Okay fine . you pick those you like and I will pick the ones I like." Elly walks towards the other end of the clothing raw as she is saying her suggestion.

"That's sounds good." Jenny picks up a red dress. It is beautiful. The dress reminds her of the university annual festival seven years ago.

A face with big brown eyes and brown hair pops up in her mind. As if he would say " Jenny, what is it?".... Jerome..... Her chest feels heavy. But soon that tightness replace by strong hatred and anger. Hmm... at that time did she ever thought that it would turn out like this !! The rope she hold to climb up the mountain of darkness would be this weak and strengthless.

'Haa..... even after so many years do I still need to feel this way. ' Jenny thinks. She decides not to pick up the Red dress.

"Let's go for a different one."

"Jenny I have choose these . It would suit you."Elly takes a lot of dresses.

" Well I am done choosing too."

" Let's go to the trail room."

Both of them goes to towards the trail room.

At the trail room

"Ahhhh....."

A child's screaming startles Jenny.
