It was recess for the freshmen
I was observing the canvas that was smeared with 3D pencils ink. It was highly detailed and creative. I've had spent a week and 3 days to finish it, it was worth it because in the end I was rewarded. My art was displayed on the main Hall, it was displayed with glass around It to avoid vandalism.
At the bottom of the painting, was my name displayed in caps. I could remember me fanning over myself and my own art.
I smiled at lilay, watching her walking towards me through the crowd.
Yes, I'm calling "lilay" by her last name. She prefers her last name instead of her real one because Shanoan sounds old to her

I could hear the "thump" when Lilay sat down. Her whiny voice laced with her attitude.

I sat silently, watching the conversation unfold. Too unbothered to care. They can fight about their love life. Isabelle and I usually stay out, but today, it seems that Belle has recovered a LOT of energy.
After a while, the bickering went to a normal conversation, I joined in later on, but Isabelle had to go to the music room to meet up with her choir group.

I talked to them for the rest of the lunch hour, until it was finally time for my next class. I had classes with Sylvan, so we both bid goodbye to Lilay.
next class was PE. Bunch of boys played football, while the girls just sat on the ground or play badminton.
The basketball court was already being used, since people were getting ready for tournaments.
After PE, we changed clothes and got clean. Going to our next class which is chemistry.
The teacher was absent so some of my classmates we're leaving early.
School ended eventually. I am now sitting on my bed, wearing my checkered shirt and my sport shorts. My back was pressed against the wall, and my phone in hand.

I closed my phone, yawning tiredly. I knew a bickering conversation would start later on.
I put my phone on the nightstand beside me, getting up and walked to the bathroom. I got out then switched the lights off.
I jumped on my bed, laying sideways. Hugging my pillow and closing my eyes.
The next morning, I had gotten up early. our group decided to meet up at the cafe.
I was the first one there, and soon Sylvan arrived

The creature that chased after the person reached out it's claws towards the child's hood, attempting to lift him up.

Suddenly, a knife appeared out of the air, it was targeted right on the Corrupted's neck, earning a eery scream from it.
Of course, that's not going to end the monstrous being. The child took out a talisman from his bag, walking towards the weakened corrupted, trying to seal it.
A person leaped from the third floor of the building, landing straight on top of the corrupted, squashing the torso.
a liquid of Blue spilled out, mixing with the puddle of water.

I started cleaning off the liquid off my uniform, pulling the dagger out off the detached neck.
Ouh, right. I forgot to tell, the story I told you earlier, was the day before the apocalypse happened.
Now, it's been over two years.

I rolled my eyes and jumped to the first floor, leaving Danzel at the basement

With a simple reply back, I jumped back up to the first floor, heading to the parking lot where my bike was parked.

I left the cafeterIa but jumping up the balcony which leads to a hallway.
i was about to activate the electric door, when something hit me from the back of my head.
i picked up the empty glass of bottle, I knew who it was from. It had a letter which I'll read at my room once I finish changing.
I walked into the hallway, the sounds of people talking from the cafeteria slowly fading while my boots slamming against the floor becoming clearer.
I passed by some Physicians who one of them were nice and gave me Kelk Gel in a small round container for my skin.
I had taken a shower, cleaning the stains from my skin and handed my uniform to the uniform Tec.
I decided to read the letter by the infamous person.

-Hey Zane, Long time no chitchat with you. Heard you have been having trouble swallowing pills. So here's something to help :)

I smiled at the sweet gesture. I rolled up the drawer after unlocking it next to my bed and tuck the letter inside along with the other letters I received.
I raised the bottle to my eye level, curious about her new invention.
The bottle was full. Full, Full, FULL of Vex pills. Is she kidding?
I scrunched my face, frowning at the bottle before setting it on the nightstand.

I groaned and stood up, stretching my arms out.
I checked the watch, it was only 11, so I guess they haven't closed yet.
Before I headed out, I made sure to put on some Kelk Gel on my skin. Being a half corrupted wasn't as fun as it sounds. there's the pros and cons.
I headed down the hallway, reaching a elevator, pressing the cafeteria level.
I shouldn't be jumping of balconies. Especially when I'm already fresh out from showering.
Lilay jumped onto me like a leach, latching her arm around my neck.

she nodded twice. Soon, the lady came back with the tray of food that were contaminated with Demivla in her hands, handing them to me.
I sat down on one of the many round tables, Lilay joining me with her cocoa drink.
I should explain first, shouldn't I? Demivla is a type of liquid we get from flowers. Hunters go hunt for them, and physicians make them. I'm lucky, I could eat normal food but with a hint of liquid inside them. Whilst others, like Malcom, he can't eat food, well, veggies. He could eat meat, but alot of Demivla liquid.
oh, right. Our district is mixed with H'B and humans. Amazing, right? It would be, if some humans weren't so convinced that we H'B are the same as Curropted.
Fights would start happening, and some H'B were attacked. Of course, they attacked back, which made things worst.
I choose to minimize the human friends I make distancing myself from the onces I just met.
that's how hard being a H'B is.
me and Lilay continued talking, ignoring the time, catching up to one another.
Injured chaos
a meditation audio started playing loudly on the speakers. It would be great if it was only connected to the cafeteria, but it was connected to the whole grounds, flats, rooms of the district.
of course, my sleep was ruined.
I sat up tiredly, holding my head in my hands.

a yawn escaped from my lips, before I tiredly got up. I walked up to my chair, and took my towel that hanged from it. I headed towards the bathroom, Hanging my towel on the hang thingy and ran a cold shower.
I stripped and headed in, ignoring the cold ass pain I had felt.
It's 6 in the morning dimwits.
After taking a shower, I wrapped myself with my towel, then going to my wardrobe to pick a comfortable outfit.

I looked under my bed, on the sink, my study desk, and my wardrobe.
I push some hair off my face and sight frustratedly.
Then, something caught my eye,
I bent down, reaching the studies' desk stud. Right next to it was the pill bottle. I took it and stood up swiftly.

I was at the elevator. The door opened, revealing a lot of physicians and hunters running around. The hunters looked badly injured.
I felt blood rushed through me, adrenaline was pushing through my veins. All my mind was thinking is,
I rushed past the others, heading to the direction where the physicians are currently going.
It wasn't the laboratory. I slip the bottle inside my pockets and kept walking swiftly.
They Couldn't have been back Soo soon. could they? Are the corrupted there that bad? oh no.
I had reached the main area where people get treated.
PACK with injured hunters and physician's
Some were laying on the ground,
Oh. This isn't Malcom's team. These are the 2-week missions.
Then Yan's voice appeared in my head.

I went to the hunters side, thinking on what to do.

life even as a human!
Since he was already in a sitting position, I got two pills out of the bottle. I don't know how much he needs, but for me, I usually take two. So I hope he's going to be fine.
I put one of my hands behind his head, supporting it before gently setting a pill on his lips,

He kept on groaning, but I could see that he's trying to do what I said.
He finally swallowed both pills, I took the time and rushed swiftly towards the counter where they prepared some waters
I took a cup of water and added a pump of Demivla.
I had noticed he was a half blood, how? Because He was still alive.
I came back, going to his side. I supported his back by sliding an arm around his shoulders, and then I set the cup on his lips.

Here, drink something to replenish some energy, carefully.
He obeyed, drinking carefully. But I could see he was having trouble.
After finishing the cup, I gave him some time to catch breath.

Do you want more?
he gasped and breathed heavily, but not as heavy as before.
He shook his head, closing his eyes.
For me, sleeping in a sitting position is uncomfortable. So I, being a great person, went my way to get some cushions from the back desk and brought it to him.
i set the pillows behind him and let him shift into a more comfortable position.
I took the empty cup and went back to the counter to refill it.

I just took warm water back with me.
I sat beside him on a spinning tool, putting the cup on the table
He was fast asleep, his head was threatening to fall inward. Luckily, I could move fast.
No offense to him but, he has a great slim Muscular kind of built. What did they acounter there that made them so worn out?
I turn to the Yan, her hands were full of medical things

She put the things that were occupying her hands on the edge of the bed. She went on the opposite of me.

I nodded and did as asked. Yan did her things with the wounds on the guy. After a while, he was finally able to be put in a laying position.
She took of her gloves, tossing them at the trash. She took something out of her pocket and handed it to me.

Tilt you head upwards and spill some inside.l your mouth. Then put the pills you need to eat and swallow.
I spinned the bottle in midair, only holding the cap.
