Chapter 1
After a long day of work in the coffee shop, Lidia took a break and enjoyed a cup of coffee while reading a book
Lidia
sigh... I have to pay the rent tomorrow but my budget is still not enough..
Lidia sighed heavily as she was reading a novel entitled "Evergreen"
Alan
Lidia are you still not gonna go home? It's already late
Alan, who was Lidia's co worker sat in front of the table as he talked to Lidia

Just for a sec... I gotta finish reading this
Lidia drank her coffee while reading the novel

Fine but, the store is closing soon so it's time for you to go..
Alan was getting ready to close coffee shop

aaaahh!!! Finally, the female lead got her happy ending TvT
Lidia was shouting from excitement and placed down her coffee on the table aggressively
Lidia was jumping in joy which caused Alan to rush over to her table

LIDIA! Did something happen?!? I heard a scream?!

Lidia excitedly said to Alan

Hah.. Shit- Lidia you scared the hell out of me... I thought you were in danger or something
Alan facepalmed from the ridiculous reason Lidia uttered

sorry about that Alan haha... I just got too excited and screamed recklessly..
Alan
Have you finished reading now? I'm going to close the shop
Lidia quickly packed her stuff and cleaned the coffee table

Alright, you go on first i have to lock the doors
Lidia went outside the coffee shop to wait for Alan to come out
Lidia was walking around near the shop's entrance while waiting for Alan, suddenly she encountered a puddle that looked quite strange

What's this...? A puddle in the middle of the road surrounded with flowers?
Lidia
did someone accidentally drop seeds on this pond?
Lidia
*I laughed at myself for such a ridiculous reason*
Lidia decided to step on the puddle thinking it was just an ordinary puddle with some flowers on it
However, the moment she stepped on the puddle, she suddenly sank in a deep pool of water that seemed to never end
She screamed for help and swam back to the top as long as she could, However... It was no use
She kept sinking and sinking and sinking....
Alan
Hey Lidia I finished locking the shop, Let's–
Alan couldn't finish his words after seeing that Lidia was not outside
Alan looked around to find any signs of Lidia
Alan
Lidia! where are you??
Alan
She's not answering...
Alan
Maybe she went home already..
Alan
That brat.. How could she leave me here alone
Alan
Haha.. Just wait till tomorrow, Im going to scold you..
Alan was annoyed that Lidia left him behind, not knowing that she disappeared into the unknown

*Lidia's thoughts*
(I can't see anything... Everything is dark...)

(I was just walking… But when I stepped on that puddle…. It felt I was falling in an endless pool of water..)

(what exactly happened…. Did I die..?)

(No way... There's no way I could have died by just walking on the puddle...)
Lidia's thoughts were everywhere as she kept floating underwater
While closing her eyes underwater, Lidia felt sunlight shine on her face
She slowly opened her eyes only to discover that she was underwater
Lidia swam up to the surface of the water
Once she opened her eyes she looked around, she saw a forest surrounded the lake, completely different from the coffee shop she came from
Lidia was surprised when she could suddenly sit on the water and how shallow it was, when earlier she felt like she was submerged in a deep sea

Wait what…. why did the water suddenly..?
Lidia
But wait… Where the hell am I??
Lidia was looking around confused
Lidia caught a glimpse of herself in the water, and she was incredibly startled
Lidia took a good look at herself in the water
To her surprise, not only did her appearance change but also her age
She had become a child with Orange colored hair and green eyes
Lidia
What the heck is this!? Why am I a child?!
Lidia touched her hair and face frantically as if she was panicking
She suddenly realized something and stopped her movements
She got up from the shallow lake and went to the grass to lay down
She closed her eyes and let her thoughts wonder off
Lidia
(Okay Lidia…. Let's calm down..we all know this is a dream, and we are going to wake up soon)
Lidia
(Alan is probably worried why I was sleeping outside the shop... Phew.. Calm down )
Lidia took a deep breath while laying on the grass to calm herself
Lidia
(Okay Lidia.. Let's count to three and wake up, we don't want Alan to worry)
A voice interrupted her thoughts
Lidia
(Did someone just call my name…?)
Philip came running towards Lidia and sat down on the grass beside her, panting from his aggressive running

Sister! I was looking ... hah...ha... All over for you!
Lidia opened her eyes and saw a young boy who looked just like the current her, orange hair with green eyes
Lidia
(Who is this boy..?)
Lidia
(And did he just call me sister…?)
Philip
Seriously sis… You shouldn't leave me alone like that ToT
Philip
And why are you soaking wet??
Philip
Did you fall in the lake??
Lidia could not utter a word due to shock
Lidia
(I'm still in the dream... Sigh.. I couldn't wake up because of this kid)
Lidia
(Who is this kid anyway?)
Lidia
(I know my mind conjures up some fictional things because of how many books I've read, but this is too realistic 😔)
Philip
Sis? Why aren't you answering? Are you okay?
Lidia
(ah– I better answer him, or he'll think something is wrong)
*I groaned a little* Ah yes… I'm fine
Philip
Phew… Thank goodness
Philip
You better not wander off somewhere again and leave me behind okay??
Lidia was still confused, but she decided to follow along for now
Philip stood up from the grass and patted his bum to get rid of the dirt that was sticking on his pants

Okay, let's go home sis
Lidia quietly stood up and brushed off the dirt on her outfit
She dried off her hair by squeezing them together
Philip
Ah wait, I forgot you were soaking wet
Philip took off his brown tunic, leaving him wearing a white long sleeved shirt. He placed the tunic on Lidia's shoulder to cover her
Philip
There… It should help a bit
Lidia couldn't utter his name because he doesn't know him despite Philip calling her sister
Philip
Well then let's go!
Philip held Lidia's hand and guided her through the forest
Lidia was slightly startled but decided to follow him anyway

(This kid... He knows his way through the forest.. Does he live here?..)

(But seriously.. I need to wake up from this damm dream!!)
