A group of ex-classmates from high school, held a reunion party at a club. Everyone were invited, some came and few not.

"Woah, we have quite a few number of people here, huh?"

" Obviously, it's just the end of a semester, dude. They aren't as free as you."

" Hah, look at him. Do you think I'm always so free?"

"Yup. I have seen you so free, lagging in our clubroom. Hahahaha"

No matter how less the numbers were, the chatters and laughters were coming from all the way.

" Hey, guys! What do you think about a reunion camping trip?"

Everyone were silent for a while and in another second, some excitedly agreed upon it.

" Com'on, guys. It's been soo long we haven't hangout together."

Few more agreed to join. And at next week they departed for the camping trip in a forest.

" If you won't go, I'll be left alone... Please! Pretty please~"

"Uhh... Fine, I'll go!"

At the forest, they met their two guides, a man named Eugene and a woman, Ember. They helped them to set tents and at night they held a bonfire enjoying the tired night with small games and sing songs.

" Oh, hes still so amazing in singing."

"Surprisingly, you're good at playing this."

"You think so?"

Next day, they have already felt a strangeness of the forest yet as they planned. They headed further in the forest to explore it with the guides.

They wandered around and stopped in middle of the forest, where they found a not-so-big lake and rest around it.

" Wow, this lake is so beautiful, like a shore of ocean."

" Yeah, right. But…"

They didn't like the atmosphere around the lake, which was ominous and creepy. There's sunlight, many plants and trees around. However, it's complete silence, no sound, not even a running squirrel or a chrip of bird.

That place was giving them chills.

But, they were so tired to move another place, so they decided to stay and put their bags around.

The afternoon felt like evening since the clouds covered the sky, refusing to let the sunlight pass. Soon, after the lunch they fell asleep there.

When they woke up from a deep sleep, they found some of their friends missing along with the guides. They were nowhere to be found.

Thinking that they must have gone back to their initial point, the camping site. The other walked back to the way they came from.

Time has passed a lot, they couldn't find neither the way nor the others. Rather, they have lost themselves. They were anxious and panicked.

After wandering around in an unknown and strange forest, they felt hopeless as it seems they were wandering at the same place again and again. Being hopeless and tired, they decided to rest for a while and sat on the ground.

Not so long after, ...they heard some sounds... Sounds of rustling brushes, sounds of footsteps and...voices...

It was coming closer and closer.

As the classmates panicked, they hide in some brushes around. The voices and sounds got very close and abruptly stopped.

The classmates tried to take a look-out, in between the brushes. There were people outside, unusual features with various different hair and eyes colors. As if a uniform, all the people were wearing a royal dark blue clothes with golden lines and artwork. They all have weapons like swords, spear, bows-arrows etc. like a knight.

... Knights?!

The uniform people seemed to finding something. The classmates stayed silent, unaware of the fact that the people were finding them.

One of the boy again tired peeking out and saw a man in uniform standing right in front of him and directly looking at him.

Soon they were caught, and bewildered, they struggled to be free as the people grab them.

" Ahhhhh! Leave me! Let me go!"

" Who the hell are you?! Leave us!"

" Oh— well... Before anything please hear us carefully —!!!"

After a lot of struggles, the classmates freed themselves from their grips and ran away as fast as they could, without hearing anything.

Those unknown uniformed people chased after them. They were so fast that the classmates were having hard time to get away from them. Not to mention their grips were so strong.

One of the girl picked up a broken branch in her way, was determined to use it. Another boy picked up a branch as well. They noticed each other and gave a nod before swinging it with all their strength.

They end up hitting one of the people but both the branches broke and scattered like a paper got tore in pieces.

Not even a scratch... What the hell—? Superman?!

The classmates were left with opened mouth. But they didn't waste their time admiring— being shocked and ran... attempted to run.

Two of the people came behind the girl and the boy, so fast no one noticed, and caught them.

In another struggle to free, the girl's mind went blank, and she threw a hard punch straight to the person's face, who was trying to hold her back.

The classmates and the other people were speechless...

And more shockingly... That person... fell unconscious... Not only the witnesses, she herself was shocked.

This is not the time to waste!!

The boy and another girl came to drag away her from there, made her come back to her senses.

They were still running and suddenly something passed away in front of them, like a swift of wind. They all stepped on brakes, anxiously looking around.

They heard the rustling sounds few times, not knowing it was to distract them. Until they realized, They were once again caught.

The girl once again tried her luck and attempted to punch the person behind her.

However, before she could try something. She got pulled back and hit at the vital point at the back of her neck, making her lose consciousness.

She mumbled weakly: " Who... the...hell...?"

And somehow turned to take a look at the person who did it. But her vision has blurred. She saw a figure, looking at her.

Red... black... boy...

Her legs gave out. As she fell and was caught the figure of a boy. Finally, her consciousness gave out as well.

Chatter, chatter...

" Wake up! Open your eyes." Someone shouted in low.

"Ugh..."

" Seems like she's awake..." a boy whispered.

The girl slowly open her eyes, squinting them to adjust her vision. She tilted and twisted her head a little as her neck pained.

She tried moving and realized her arms and legs were tied in rope. She straightened up and wide awake.

Looking around she found her classmates in the same situation as her. And the place they were in was a tent.

Seeing the candles and lamps lighten up, they understood it's already evening.

" Are you alright?" another girl who helped her drag, asked the girl who just woke up.

Alright my grandma. In a situation like this, how can you ask me that?

The girl's internal asked and there's no way she'll upset her cute friend, who's worried about her, by such question.

She nodded to assure the other girl.

But the fear and anxiety inside each of them was not right at all.

Some footsteps were heard, alerting the classmates. Their heads turned towards the tent's entrance.

A big buffy, not-so-old, must be in his 40s since he has wrinkles in his face. However, a fit-healthy man stood in front of them like a tower.

A scar on his face around the left cheek and jawline, made him looked quite cool.

He's quite handsome tho also…huge…?

That's all the classmates could think with a gulp in their throats, out of fear. He strangely has sharp features and a ferocious aura around him.

Some of the other people similar to those who attacked them before, followed the huge man, silently and stood in line behind him.

He seemed stiff and strict.

The classmates thought of him as someone cold or furious but when the huge man cleared his throat before speaking : "Ehem-em."

He said with short pause: "...Right now, the situation must seems harsh to you but I would like to ask you youngers to cooperate with us for a while."

My, my, my

The way he's trying to speak so calmly, with deep firm voice of his... which was unexpected, surprised the classmates.

At this rate, we will be falling for this mister…it would suit him better if he speaks a bit furiously…gulp…

Meanwhile, the people came with the man seemed to be relieved for some reason.

One of the another girl in the group, shyly yet hesitantly spoke up: "Uhmm... If you want us to co-operate with you, t-then why did you tie us like this?"

The rest of classmates silently agreed with the girl as they slowly nodded in sync.

At that, the huge man frowned. After a short silence he sighed before speaking.

" Well... If it was not for the commotion before, we could have talked normally."

He referred to the chaos from before. Them, running and chasing like a game of mouse and cat. The commotion of getting beaten by some young lads was somewhat unexpected for the people as well.

" Our group were commanded to take you here without any commotion. However, before we were to explain things, seems like our group unintentionally frightened you. It was also not that we actually attack you."

That made the classmate realized that it was true that the uniformed people were actually trying to say something but the classmate were so frightened that all they wanted, is to run away.

Also, the fact that they didn't actually attacked them and never use their weapons either. The classmate slowly nod to the huge man, the people behind were once again relieved that the misunderstanding sorted out.

" Now, if you promise to cooperate with us, we’ll free you. However, if you try something funny—"

" Chief!... "

The huge man seemed to turning ferocious while talking but got taken back to his sense by one of the person standing behind him, interrupted and said something as if reminding him in a inferior manner.

" … Please…remember the orders..."

The huge man humph out a sigh and got back to normal. He then glanced at the classmates and said:

" I'm really trying to be nice, if you will quietly co-operate."

The classmates quick nodded in fear; who knows what will he do if he won't be nice.

All the classmates were untied. The people gave them chair to sat on for the real talk.

The huge man stood there and watched them as they all obediently sat down.

He ordered one of the person: "…Get them some water to drink."

He must have seen how much the classmates looked drained out. Indeed, after all the running.

As per the order, the person brought some water for them.

The classmates were relieved that they were at least taking that much care for them. They drank a lot of water than expected as if they haven't drank it for a while.

The classmates thanked them for the care.

After letting them relax, the huge man came a little near them and asked: " Are you all now alright to answer our questions?"

The classmates glanced at each other one by one and nodded their heads to the huge man.

He started interrogating: "Good. Then… what were you doing in this forest?"

One of the boy replied in behalf of the classmates:" ….Uhm… All we remember is that we were here for a camping trip along with our friends and now we are lost."

The huge man's eyebrows twitched as he found it ridiculous.

"Camping trip? In a forest like this?... Hah." He scoffed questionably.

The classmates were dumbfounded.

The boy from before who fought added "We were told this forest has safety measures and there were two guides with us too… Even though there were some things strange about this forest … and the lake..."

The boy paused meanwhile the girl who spoke up before said as if she got it what was wrong:

"The lake! Y-yes! Everything was alright 'til we arrived at that weird la….. At the middle of the forest… Right! From there on our other friends were missing, and we were lost ever since then…as if everything changed."

Changed…??

The people behind the huge man whispered in confusion.

"Seems like you youngers were fooled..."

Bewildering the classmates, the huge man continued: "Right now, this forest have a dangerous issue. No one is allowed to enter this forest until the issue resolve."

The classmates were shocked to heard that, the anxiety raised in them.

Looking at how much the classmates were panicking, the huge man asked: "... Well, you don't look like people living here or nearby. Where did you come from?"

"S-Seoul..."

The huge man questionably tilted his head and asked one the people behind him.

"Se…owl…? Do we have ever heard of such name or place before?"

One of the person replied with a pause as if wondering: "… It… doesn’t look like we have."

The huge man frowned and looked at the classmates.

The classmates themselves looked confuse, making the huge man doubt if they were actually lying or not.

"E-Excuse me..."

All heads turned towards the low voice coming from the girl, who was unconscious before.

They all questionably looked at her as she continued:

" If you don't mind, can I ask some things?...Uhmm just some random... to be aware... Conformation!"

There was a short silence before the huge man replied with a nod: "… Alright. Go ahead."

The girl asked in a hesitated manner, worried if it was what she was thinking:

"Uhm… Are you all …perhaps Knights or something like that?"

The huge man and the people behind nodded with a bit of confusion.

" Yes, we are. We are the Wistarian knights."

Wistarian…what?

The rest of the classmates were dumbfounded meanwhile the girl was somewhat surprised.

Watching the two different reactions from them, the mentioned Wistarian knights were getting deep into the confusion.

The cute girl beside was worried about the friend of her, she worriedly asked the girl: " H-hey, W-what's wrong?..."

But the girl avoided answering her.

She bewildered a bit and asked the knights: "T-Then.. W-what date is today?!"

One of the people replied: "xxx in the…imperial calendar."

A storm took over inside her, sound of thunderstorms filled her ears, darkness blocked her vision and her head spined around.

She again fell unconscious in shock of the realization that they are in ancient times or something.

The girl once again regained her consciousness and got up touching her head as it hurts for some reason.

"Are you okay?"

She saw some blurry but worried faces and gave a nod to them and blankly looked up at the tent ceiling.

Is it some kind of magic or some fucking shit?! How is it possible for us to time travel in the ancient time?! Without even knowing anything??!!

Are we perhaps in a freaking manga or novels I have read so far?!! Where the MC time travel into ancient times or get isekaied into a historical fantasy novel?!! By a truck-kun or something!! But we didn't get hit right? Definitely not!!

What the hell is this happening?!

The girl who has drowned herself in being an otaku for years. Someone who has watched more than 300 animes has read more than 300 mangas and web novels. Where the genre of being isekaied or transmigration become common.

She didn't know if she should be happily smiling or sadly crying right now.

Her dream of traveling in another world has been half-heartedly fulfilled, but this is also somewhat not a good thing, right?

The girl covered her face with both of her hands with a groan while bending her upper body forward.

"—cough! Cough!" The girl choked on the water she was drinking.

She realised where her thoughts were leading her.

Even though there was a storm of emotions inside her, she was trying hard to keep herself normal outside.

Her cute friend beside her patted her back to help her calm down.

The girl nodded: "Uhm-- Thanks."

Watching these young lads, the huge man was somewhat able to understand what does the one who ordered him to take care about these young lads meant.

" I think...we should continue this interrogation later. Why don't you have some rest first? You seem to need it a lot."

That girl was the first to agree immediately as if she was desperate. The huge man nodded in response then said something to one or the knight there.

The knight took them to another tent which have some beds inside.

He said: "Please, adjust yourself here—"

The girl quickly responsed without letting him finish himself: "Yes, it's fine. Thank you so much."

The classmates bowed to the knight, surprising him, so that he quickly leave them.

"…Then call us if you need anything."

As the knight leave, the classmates sat on the beds. The beds were not as much soft or soothing as normal beds. But what can you expect from the beds soldiers used though.

A boy asked the girl's cute friend: "Kyuboo, is she really alright?"

The girl called Kyuboo, together with the boy look at their friend who was the only one lying on her face on the bed as if she was dead.

Her muttering something as if possessed or reciting spell, was only proof of her being alive.

But it worried and frightened the other classmates who wear already so anxious.

Kyuboo worriedly said: " I'm not sure..."

The boy who was silent, the whole time suggested hesitantly: " Should we go and ask her again?"

The two agreed and goes to the girl lying on the bed.

Kyuboo shake her and demanded like a child: " Jiwoo-ahh. Tell us if you don't really feel good?!"

"Come on. Say something."

The three waited for the girl called Jiwoo to response.

Jiwoo sat up on the bed with a blank expression. The three of them watched her silently.

After several seconds later, all she said was... : "… I will keep it for later."

Kyuboo snapped: "What do you mean 'for later'?! Why are you being like this?!"

But Jiwoo showed no other reaction than laziness. She somewhat looked traumatized.

Jiwoo said lazily lying back on her face:" Junghyuk, So-gyu. Take her to other bed and have some rest, too. There are a a lot of things we need to figure out."

Saying that she closed her eyes, leaving the three classmates dumbfounded.

But knowing her friend for years, Kyuboo was sure something's going to happen.

After an hour,

The rest of the classmates gather, and were discussing some things.

At the moment, the sounds of their whispers woke up Jiwoo, who fell asleep.

 In a situation like this? Yup.

Half asleep, as she just woke up and looked at them. They looked at her, all of them at the same time.

Her eyes wide opened and she sat up with a deadpanned face.

It seemed like the scene out of thriller. Where the rest of the classmates were discussing a classmate's murder plan and that classmate was caught her eavesdropping.

Jiwoo gulped before asking: "W-What...are you guys...doing?"

The classmates looked at each other before replying to her: "... Discussing."

She internally cried; Don't tell me you were really planning my murder just because you think I'm strange!!??!!

She blinked her wide eyes few times and look at Kyuboo for response. In reflex, Kyuboo did the same, blinked her eyes few times at Jiwoo.

Since both Jiwoo and Kyuboo have been closest to each other since high school, Kyuboo got some reflexive habits because of Jiwoo.

"......." But Kyuboo doesn't know what to say.

The boy, Junghyuk replied instead:" Oh, we were discussing what we can do in the situation like this... Rather than panicking and getting anxious..."

He sighed, feeling hopeless.

Jiwoo felt relieved. She then stretched her body a little as it felt stiff and sat properly.

She seemed more relax than anyone there.

The other girl in their group sarcastically commented on her: " Seems like you had a good rest *scoff* at a time like this."

No one said anything, although they find it quite rude of the girl.

But Jiwoo took no offense. Yawning she replied: "Yeah. It was pretty good."

Only for the other classmates to find her unbelievable.

Jiwoo asked: " So. What are we gonna do?"

The other boy said: " What do you mean? We were just discussing...without a conclusion... We couldn't come up with anything yet."

Jiwoo blankly stared at the boy for a minute or less. She turned her eyes towards the entrance of the tent.

Although the classmates found her scary for a second, their eyes followed her sight.

Soon, a sound of little coughing was heard.

A young man in knight's uniform, cleared his throat before entering the tent. That was to aware them for his entry.

There wasn't a sound of footsteps... How did she knew beforehand?

The rest of the classmates looked back at Jiwoo in wonder.

The young man saw the classmates and Jiwoo sitting around and asked them: "Did you had a good rest?"

" ......." No one responded. Except..

" Yes. We did." Jiwoo who was the only one who could fell asleep in such situation.

The young man acknowledged her response and said: "Dinner will be ready soon.The Chief has commanded me to let you know that you can join us and also to escort you to the dining area. Let's go then."

He gestured towards the exit with his hand.

The surprise and moved classmates were speechless at their generosity. They look at each other faces and slowly got up.

Before anyone took a step, Jiwoo interrupted and said: Excuse me, sir. But... Before that... Can we...continue the interrogation?"

Not only the young man but even the classmates were surprised to hear that.

The young man pause for several seconds before speaking: "I-I will let the Chief know. Please wait."

And he hurriedly got out the tent.

The boy asked, bewildered: "What was that for?"

Junghyuk was baffled as well: "We haven't decided anything about interrogation, Moon Jiwoo."

Jiwoo looked at them blankly and said: "I told you, right? There's a lot of thing we have to figure out."

The classmates were still confused.

She got up from the bed: "And we also have to get back our bagpacks."
