It's been half year since the accident occurred .I have lost all my middle school memories, as per I was told but everything seems to be same.

Someone knocks at the door.

"Irie come downstairs! Your friends are waiting for you."

Mom says from the other side of the door and leaves.

I am exited to meet them, as per I remember their names were Maria, Suzy and Patrick.

I went downstairs and entered the drawing room.

But those weren't the same people who I knew were my friends. And the only thing I could tell by looking at them that they were the people I didn't knew.

I wasn't sure what I should do about it.

"Irie, are you fine? What happened? Why are you making that face? It's me Rozy. Don't you remember me?"

A girl standing there said this to me with a curious expression.

I thought I must have made a friend whose name was Rozy.

I thought hard to remember her but this only lead me to dizziness and headache. My head hurts harder as I thought about it.

I couldn't do anything about it and I also felt guilty to say that I don't know her or any of them.

So, I decided to go to my room and locked myself up.

I didn't know why but I couldn't face them. Their faces with full of hope made me nervous. And looking at them felt I should have rather died.

"Irie, What happened? Why did you left the room?You're making everyone worried "

My mom asked me in a worried voice.

"Mom no need to worry, and tell them to go and never come back I don't know them."

Sometime later I heard her leaving. I don't know what to do, I am confused, there was a part of me telling to die.

"Irie, let me in dear"

It was my grandma. I went quickly and opened the door. She came inside closing the door, and sat on my bed with me.

"Irie, I know that you are scared and afraid to face anyone but you have to be strong. I know you are thinking to end things up, but you shouldn't you know that well. About friends you can make new friends next year in your high school. And till then I have a new for you"

"A new friend?"

She handed me a weird looking book and went outside saying nothing.

I was a little motivated with that so I put that book and started doing stuff. It was like nothing happened but I never knew what's gonna happen next??

And it was not the same I thought it would, everyone was mad at me for what I did. They scolded me for just saying I don't know them, they don't understand how I feel, they just want me to be perfect after losing my memories. Just not that they didn't even greeted me, only grandmother was the one who stood up for me and greeted me.

Speaking of grandmother, I remembered I had to read the book she gave me.

I took the book and layed on my bed.

'A Prince or a Monster' was written on it. It looked like an old book.

As per thinking about the title it seemed interesting.

So I opened the book, but before I could see what was written I lost my consciousness.

Sometime later I opened my eyes hoping it to be my bedroom, but it was somewhere else.

I stood up and observed everything around me.

I came at a conclusion that it was a prison.

But what am I doing here?Why am I here? What is the point of me to be here?

But sometime later in a blink my head was full of answers, rushing into my head everything seemed familiar.

I came at a conclusion that I am Lydia Calmus a witch, who got caught while fighting for her own kingdom's freedom. I also remembered that I was also with an another witch who had blue eyes and black hair.

I also understood that I was in a dream, after knowing about her sacrifices I decided to go on and continue the journey.

I looked around and found that a witch sitting on the window.

I went towards her, she looked like that she was thinking something.

"Miss witch?"

As I said she turned her head towards me.

"Came at a good time I have a plan"

She said calmly, her voice was clear and sweet.

"Can I know your name first?"

"My name is Avery Xu."

"Well, what is the plan for?"

"It's a plan for escape."

"Escape but why?"

"To free ourselves and our kingdom."

"Oh sorry I forgot."

As I said she looked at me like she's gonna eat me up.

"What is the plan?"

She described the whole plan calmly. After listening it I went to my place, as per she said the demon had told us to be at the place we have been said to sit on.

I didn't know if it was really a dream or not, I closed my eyes hoping I could sleep but I couldn't, after the things happened with me today. I couldn't get it! The things were happening with me in all of the sudden, the accident, the memory loss, my friends and this dream . People say that dreams reflect your body's feelings about your current life, maybe this is how my mind and body feels like after all the things.

My mind feels like it is in a prison, locked and planning to get out of there. Who knows?

Next day I opened my eyes, this time I was sure that if this would be a dream then I will be in my bedroom. But it wasn't that I thought, I was still inside the prison. It made me scared maybe I am in coma, but when I thought deeply about it, I got that this can't happen to me all in of the sudden. I knew it was something else like I am lost but a part of my mind was saying to continue the story, maybe I will get out of here.

So, I sat at my place and started to remember my role in the escape. As per Avery told me the plan will start in the evening, so I waited.

I don't know how the day passed so quickly, it was dusk now.

As per she told me the demon came at dusk to check on us. I observed that he saw a band which was on our wrist to know that if anyone has run away or not.

He came towards me, he smelled really bad. He looked at my wrist and went towards other.

When he went towards Avery, she started to cast a spell.

"The nights are the darkest without moonlight and I shall command you to sleep till out comes the dawn light."

As she casted the spell that demon collapsed.

Now my part came, I took the keys and opened the main door.

Everyone went away as fast they could.

I went towards Avery.

"Good work, Lydia."

"Thanks, but what about the demon?"

"Don't worry, he will sleep until dawn."

After sometime we also got out of there, we were walking towards the forest around the prison Suddenly I got curious and asked

"Where are we heading to?"

"We are going to free our hiers, they are at Atlands which is 100 km straight from here."

100 km! I was shocked when she said that. But we have to complete our mission, then maybe I could get out of here.

We were walking but it seemed strange. So I asked Avery

"Isn't it something strange about this place?"

"Hmm, as per I think it's strange that everyone is really far from us or something is waiting."

"I think we should be a little more aware."

"You are right."

After walking through the forest for quite sometime, a demon jumped from a tree and landed behind us.

We turned back.

"So, you two were left?"

He asked in an annoying way.

I don't know why but, it felt like I have to hate him. My hatred for him was deep.

"So, demon lord Horous is on a round today?"

"Yes little witch, as you know I am demon lord so you should surrender by yourself."

"No, we will face you and get out of here."

As per Avery said this I knew she would also need my magic, but I couldn't remember it. So, I went towards her and whispered into her ear.

"I don't remember my spells."

"Okay, then run."

She holded my hand and ran as fast she could. The demon was chasing behind us.

"I am going to cast a teleportation spell."

"Okay"

She started to cast a spell.

"Time, space and the whisper of the nature, teleport us as we are the wisest creatures. "

Within a second we were at an unknown place.
