I am a water fountain

I am a waterfall

I am the sky when it's Grey

I am a cold winter day

I am a chilly summer day

I am the person under the stairs

I am the person who wears a smile that's not theirs

I am the person who laughs about her emotions

I am the person who hides behind the mask

I am the person who sits in the back

I pretended to be someone I never was.

It's a voice that comes out at night

It's the sound of twilight

It's a sound that comes from the night sky

It's a voice that you can't get rid of

It's a voice that tells you that you can't be you without night

At the exact time when the sun is down

And the moon is out

When the sky isn't blue

But, is dark black

When it isn't bright

But there is still a light

You see what I want you to see

You don't see the sadness

Because I only let you see the happiness

You can't see the tears

Because I only let you see the smiles

You can't see the pain

Because I hid it away

The dark thoughts

The dark nights

The tears down the stream

The dark pain that doesn't go away

The bright days full of pretense.

Do you know that feeling that you have everything,

But at the same time, nothing?

Do you know that feeling of hollowness in your soul?

Like you are tired of everything?

And everyone?

But for some reason, you don't give up?

Even if you can't see it, there is someone who helps you get up every day...

Someone who always makes you smile.

Why do we do reunions?

Is it for the smiles?

Is it for the sake of old friendships?

Or to recall old memories?

I do not know

No one has smiles to give me

There are no old friendships that I wish to keep

Or memories that I want to repeat.

When rain comes

Rain will go

Like her love for you is gone long ago

Someone else will come

And she will smile back

Like a beautiful rainbow

After the rain has passed

Tears are running down my chins

Tears cause of you

Tears like the rain

And running water down the stairs

It might be cause I'm scared

It might be cause I don't care

It might be cause of you

Or it might be cause loving someone like you really hurts.

She spends her time with you

I spend mine away from you

She smiles at you, sweet words,

I smile cause I've heard them before

She looks at you with happiness,

I look at you as if you were my world

She holds you as if her life depended on it,

I let you go cause you were mine first

And you always came back to me by the end of the week.

Sleepless nights

Belong to me

All my thoughts

Rushing in

I can't sleep

With the tears in my eyes

Your beautiful smiles rush in

And it makes it worse

My heart hurts

My brain is a foggy parade
