As soon as Meera opened the door, the angry and irritated face of her mother in law came into view.

What took you so long for opening up the door? *said in a low angry voice*

*looks down and clutch the hem of her dress* I... I am sorry...

Here, is your saree that you are going to wear for the evening puja. *gives Meera a box*

Abhimanyu stood at the door looking at his wife who was absolutely unaware of the presence in the room. After giving it a lot of thought, Abhimanyu backed off a little from the entrance and stood out of the door with the door slightly open. He knocked on the door.
