Return Of Hero Soldier

The return of the Hero

As soon as the demon king had said, "This is not how I wish my life would have ended," he fell to the ground. A man with blood streaming from his arm appeared exhausted and prepared to collapse. Just as he was about to do so, someone descended from above, grabbed him, and uttered the words, "Kim Woobin. You have fought for this world as a hero, and now I will grant you the wish you have been asking for the last twenty years: I will send you back to Earth equipped with the abilities you have acquired here. Kim Woobin was suddenly engulfed in a brilliant light, making him unconscious with a smile on his face.

In addition to feeling unconscious and surrounded by bright light, Kim Woobin also noticed that after a while all sounds had vanished and all he could see was bright light. Suddenly, he heard beeping sounds, the kind you typically hear in a hospital. When Kim Woobin finally opened his eyes, he was lying on a hospital bed. His body was rigid and he was unable to move it much.

Abruptly, the machine beside him began to beep loudly. This caused someone to rush into the room, and it was the nurse. She saw Kim Woobin and quickly ran back outside, only to reappear later with a tall, thin man who was wearing a coat, glasses, and had a slim face. Kim instantly recognised this man. The tall man asked, "Do you know me?" Kim Woobin smiled in response, "Who would forget your slim face you bastard ?"

"As sharp as ever," the man remarked. "How many years have I been in a coma?" Kim woobin asked. The nurse appeared a little taken aback. "So you've already concluded that you were in a coma for years," Dr. Jung said. "Let's just say I've had a very long dream," Kim woobin laughed. "I will inform your mother and the squad" stated Dr. Jung. Kim said, "doctor can you just tell my mother and not the squad for now, you can inform the sqaud about it later when i leave." . Dr. Jung gave a nod, instructing Kim Woobin to take rest while he went to inform his mother.

The following day, Woobin's mother arrived, and once Woobin was declared healthy, the two of them traveled to their hometown of Damyang together. "Home sweet home," Woobin cried out. His mother worriedly inquired, "Are you sure you are feeling fine? We could have stayed a few more days at the hospital." "Yes, Mom, I am perfectly well. Also, I've been lying in that bed for the past five years, so it's time for me to return home," Woobin stated, receiving a nod from his mother.

Woobin began to wonder if he was dreaming or if everything was actually happening. Had his soul truly traveled to a different world? He was thinking about whether it was a dream or not until he saw the street he knew so well from growing up there. Kim and his parents owned the cafe, which they had been operating since his father passed away too soon but left behind life insurance money that helped Kim's mother and Kim run the cafe until Kim was drafted into the army. Their home was attached to the cafe. Woobin's eyes began to well up with tears as soon as he spotted the cafe, instantly disappearing every thought that he had.

"Welcome home, Kim Woobin!" was uttered with a smile by Kim's mother as she opened the cafe's entrance and went inside. After wiping the tears from his eyes, Kim Woobin went inside.

Hong Hae-in

The cafe remained unchanged. A counter with stools and four tables on the left and four on the right are in place. The coffee makers and a variety of coffee from around Korea were located behind the counter. The location that Kim Woobin missed the most was his home, and it was right next to the machines and all the coffee. Upon entering, you will find a small kitchen to your left, a bathroom and laundry room to your right, a living room with windows leading to the small backyard. On the left side of the living room is one bedroom, and on the right side is another. When Woobin entered the left bedroom and opened the door, he discovered that nothing had changed. It was the same ten years ago when he enlisted in the army.

From the kitchen, Woobin's mother yelled at him to get in the shower and come outside to eat. After entering the shower, Woobin noticed that he didn't resemble the person he was when he faced the Demon King. He questions if he truly defeated the demon king. Woobin was known as the "fist hero" in the alternate world, since he would battle monsters with just his fists. It appears that the god who dragged him into the alternate world and returned him said he would have his power earned in another world with him in this world, which was true. He took a small steel bottle and tried crushing it with just his hand. He was successful in doing so.

Furthermore, he glanced at his face once more, noticing a small scar beneath his ear and a handsome, fair face with sharp jawlines and hazel eyes that lit up his face. His upper torso boasted incredible abs and was covered in scars, including a few gunshot holes, similar to those on his leg. He chose to ignore everything, grinned, and headed to the shower. As he was getting ready, he couldn't help but smile at the thought that after spending twenty years in an alternate world, it had just been five years, and now he would finally be eating meals prepared by his mother. He went out, they had dinner, and they sat and spoke about the events of the last five years.

A knock on the door startled them as they were speaking, so the mother went to answer it. A short, dark-haired woman, with a moonlight-perfect face and a slender-looking figure, but plenty of strength, burst through the door. She walked directly to Kim Woobin and gave him a hug. "Hey, I've been asleep for just 5 years, Hong Hae in" woobin said, "They were long 5 years and first thing you do is move out of the hospital without notifying anyone from the squad," Hae in. "I came home quietly because I wanted to be with my mother and I knew you all must have been busy. I didn't want to bother any of you." woobin stated.

Hae-in answered, "Nonsense, all of us would come check on you every day, which was also the reason your mother felt relaxed all the way here." Woo bin glanced at his mother, who was smiling. Pulling a strand of hair behind Hae's ear, Woo Bin turned to face her again and apologised for scaring everyone. He continued, "I just wanted to rest. I will meet the squad soon."

Hae in moved away from his arms and went towards the door, "Leaving so early?" Asked Kim woo bin, to which she answered, "Squad is coming tomorrow, see you then"

Squad is back

Mom said, "I finally get to see the squad." Kim Woobin answered, "Yes, looks like it." He walked to his mother, gave her a hug, told her to go to bed, and then left for his bedroom. He rested in his bed and fell asleep. The sound of rustling from the cafe awakened him up the next morning. He got up, showered, changed into new clothes, and headed to the cafe to assist his mother. He noticed that there was a queue of customers waiting outside and that the entire cafe was packed. Not only that, but he approached his mother to assist her with her work after noticing that she was working by herself.

The mother said, "Son, it's okay. Go have some breakfast first. I'll take care of this." "Let me help you," Kim Woobin replied. Kim Woobin and his mother continued to work for an additional five hours until the cafe's hustle decreased. His mother walked to the cafe's entrance and put up the closed board. "Is the cafe always this busy?" Woobin inquired. "No, this is the first time we have seen so many people in the cafe; it must have been Hae-in who did all this," his mother replied. "What do you mean?" Kim Woo Bin asked his mother, his face showing confusion.

"The whole cafe was silent when you and Hae-in enlisted. I always remembered you two playing around and fighting, and then one day you decided to enlist, and she followed you. After that, I occasionally received texts from you two, and five years later, Hae-in called me in tears, telling me that you had gone into a coma and were in a hospital in Seoul. That was the only time I had seen her in ten years, and she said that I should go back and take care of the cafe, and she would take care of you. I never worried since she was very caring for you, and having her by your side in the hospital allowed me to work here and take care of the house. Dr. Jung even paid for all of your medical expenditures. Are they your squad that's waiting for you outside?" said his mum.

With a nod, Kim Woobin opened the door, gave them a look, and said, "Just come in." Faced towards Kim Woobin's mother, everyone stood and walked in a straight line close to the counter. Kim Woobin moved behind the counter and began introducing everyone to his mother. "Mom, allow me to introduce you to this guy on the far left: Kim Seok Jin. Park min Hyeok is next to him; together, they are the only two other boys in the squad besides me. Next, we have the girls: Park tae ri is next to Park min Hyeok, and Kim Beok Joo is next to her. They were all in the special squad alongside me and hae in". Hae in came from behind the counter and began to pour coffee from the kettle, which was already pre-filled with the coffee.

"Where are your manners everyone say hello to her" Hae-in asked. Everyone bowed down to his mother in shock and said hello. "Thank you for taking care of Hae-in and Woo-bin, please sit down and talk, I will prepare dinner for everyone," Kim Woobin's mother said as she approached Hae-in.
