FIRST NIGHT AFTER THE WEDDING ~

I am left alone on my wedding night.My newly wedded husband left me alone in this big mansion.The only people present here are few maids and servants.

I am Yuri, 25 years old married to the young and rich CEO of high class businessman Chen Hao,27 years old.

I was the girl his parents chose because of family bonding. Our parents knew each other from a long time and have been great friends.

But Hao and I have never been close to each other nor did we talk personally before this marriage.

No, I am not crying.

I am just overwhelmed by the thought that how all these happened so fast.

I waited for him till 10pm, but his shadow was nowhere to been seen.

I got up to the bathroom and took a shower to freshen up myself before bed.

I wore my nightgown and got ready to sleep.

Suddenly I heard a noise from downstairs.

It were the servants welcoming their master.

I got up from bed and walked towards the door to open it.

When I opened it, Hao was already standing in front of the door.

We stared at each other's eyes for 3 seconds or so.

Neither of us uttered a word and he went directly inside the bathroom.

I did not dare to sleep and waited for him standing in the balcony gazing at the pretty night sky.

He came out of the bathroom in his bathrobe.

I turned back to see him in his perfectly wet hair.A little bit of his chest was being exposed .

"If you're done staring then go to bed it's almost midnight"

I was flustered.

I walked towards one side of the bed.

I asked him in a low voice -"Aren't you going to sleep now?"

He sat on the couch saying nothing.

I thought he did not hear me

-"I thought you wouldn't come home tonight"

He looked at me with cold expression.

Without saying anything further , I covered myself with the blanket.

I felt the blanket moving and could sense that he layed down on the other side of the bed.

There was a huge gap between us in the bed.I was not used to his room and therefore did not feel sleepy.

I turned to my other side and saw the face of a beautiful man.His high nose bridge,his reddish lips everything about him was beautiful even when he had his eyes closes.

I went into deep thoughts thinking that this man is my husband, I was married to that man who I never thought would be mine.

Yes , I like him. If not , I would not have agreed to get married to a man who I am not even sure of if he likes me or not.

I slightly closed my eyes to sleep.

The next morning ~

I woke up just to find out that Hao was gone.

The maids informed me that he already went to the office to attend an important meeting.

At noon , I explored the beautiful garden which was full of blooms.

It was slightly bigger than our garden in my parent's house.

Hao arrived home at night.

The moment I opened the door he fell into my arms.

I was in awe.

He dug his face in my neck and I could no longer move my body.

It was very sure that he was drunk.His body smelt of alcohol.He must have had drunk with the important clients the maids talked about this morning.

The maids have told me that their young master had low alcohol tolerance.

He would never do that if he was sober.

I somehow managed to stand straight.

I carefully closed the door with one hand while holding onto him with the other.

He spoke near my ear -"why do you smell so good?"

I could feel my ears turn red.

I somehow managed to speak and replied to him -"b...because I just took a shower..."

He sniffed my shoulder and my neck like a puppy.

I felt weak to my knees and pushed him to the bed running away from him.

I covered my face with my hands.I could not stop thinking about what just happened.

I told to myself that I must help him since he is not sober and that he is not any stranger but my own husband.

I slowly walked towards him and helped him untie his shoes and remove his coat.

I somehow unbuttoned the upper part of his shirt which I convinced myself to do so.

I grabbed a soft wet cloth and cleaned him with enough care.

He grabbed my wrist in his sleep and I fell onto his chest.

I got up immediately and rushed to get fresh air.

I gasped.

My heart was beating faster and faster.

After making my mind I went to sleep.

Next Morning ~

Today I woke up before him.

I pulled the curtains and the sunlight touched his face exposing his pretty features.He looked as if he was sent from heaven.

And yet again I could not believe that I was married to that man.

He frowned in his sleep.

I immediately closed the curtains.

After taking a nice shower I decided to make breakfast for him.

I rushed down the stairs to the kitchen and look through everything.

After a while we ate breakfast together in the big dining hall. But there was a complete silence between us.

Suddenly Hao got a call from his mother saying we had to go and visit my parent's house for a dinner.

My face lightened up because it was the first time after marriage that I am going home.

It was already evening , I put on a dress and got ready to go.

We reached after a while...

AFTER A WHILE~

My mother insisted us to stay for a night but I thought it would not be okay at the moment.I did not want them to find out about our relation so we came back home.

When we were on the way to home, I gathered the courage to ask him that why did he agree to marry me if he did not love me...

I sneakily looked at his face

-"Don't disturb me when I'm driving"

It felt like he wanted to say something else...

I was surprised to see my mother-in-law waiting for us at home.

Hao suddenly grabbed me by my waist and asked his mother when did she come and why did not she inform him before coming...

I put on a smiley face and welcomed her...

I could see how happy my mother-in-law was by seeing us together

-"God knows how glad I am to see my son and daughter-in-law together, this is truly a match made in heaven"

After few talks she went back to the family manor….

Days passed by , we just shared the same bed at night and had meals on the dining table together.

Whenever he went to the office I learned from the maids about his likes and dislikes...

I got to know from the maids that he never had any woman before marrying me...knowing that I was the first woman he ever had made me realize that I should put more effort into making this relation stronger...

I grabbed my phone and messaged him asking if he had lunch...It took a while for him to reply me back-"No" ..... But that was all I wanted.

I rushed to the kitchen and prepared three different types of food...It took me an hour and a half ...

The driver got the car ready for me and took me to their company…

When I entered the huge building everyone were in awe, I was kind of embarrassed to walk pass by everything who bowed me knowing that I was the wife of their CEO.

Nevertheless, a pretty lady who was a staff of their company led me to his room as it was my first time visiting.

I acted like a wife and offered him the food that I made for him.

However, he said that he had already eaten.

The little smile that I had on my face suddenly dropped.

I placed it on his lunch table and further said -"If you feel hungry then try it a little, I made it only for you"

He looked busy, so I didn't want to disturb him. Just when I stepped out of his room a lady passed by me towards his room
