Chapter one : Beginning

The story begins as we are introduced to Kim a 10 year old girl relocating to a new town due to her parents business on their private jet when suddenly an engine stopped working and the plane crashed. Miraculously only Kim survived and was taken to her father’s friend’s place which was nearest to the crash site. His name was known to be mr Jason by Kim since she had met him once or twice when he had partnered up with her father for a project. He had a son same age as Kim named Dante. Dante was really kind to Kim. As they grew Kim started developing feelings for him but one day when they were both 13 Dante’s father sent Dante off to stay with his mom for a while since she was pestering him to do so saying she missed her son after the divorce. Dante had no choice but to comply with his parents’ wishes and left for California where his mother resides leaving Kim alone. 3 years passed and Kim is now 16 and has done well in her school life and personal life she had become a very popular girl in school known for her smartness and good personality. She was also known to be part of the group named royalty. Royalty was a group of three best friends mainly Kim , Janet and Adrien .Adrien’s father owned half of the town they lived in and was really modest and Adrien was no exception. He was really kind , honest, modest , and really smart. Janet was his childhood friend, her father owns a very huge construction company known world wide. Kim was the only odd duck among them since she didn’t have wealth that anyone knew about. But she had always kept a secret from all of them she was actually a lot richer than all of them but didn’t have any access to her wealth yet cause she was not yet up to age. Her parents had left her trillions and their company which was still running and making money so her riches just continue growing the only person that knows this is mr Jason cause he was the person taking care of her even though Adrien’s and Janet’s parents were billionaires she didn’t want them to know cause she felt she had a reason. After school one day as she got home mr Jason informed her that Adrien would return that weekend even though Adrien had been gone for 3 years she never stopped having a crush on him which he didn’t know about but what she didn’t know was that her heart would soon be shattered.

Chapter two : Reunion

The weekend came and Dante arrived earlier than expected when Kim spotted him out her window she rushed downstairs to welcome him but was stopped in her tracks when she saw a blonde girl with blue eyes come out of the car and grab on to Dante’s arm. She was much more pretty compared to Kim who possessed long brown locks and glimmering brown eyes “ who’s she “ she asked hoping Dante wouldn’t say she was his girlfriend “ this is Belle she will be staying with us as from today onwards “ Dante answered but Kim still wasn’t settled “ and if you don’t mind me asking who is she to you “ “ I’m his fiancé “ Belle answered butting into their conversation. Kim looked at Dante hoping he would deny what Belle had just said but he just excused them both and walked inside leaving her to her despair. When she finally got her self back together she walked into the house to find mr Jason , Belle and Dante waiting for her . “ Kim we have been waiting for you Dante had said you had gone somewhere but the maids told me you were taking fresh air “ mr Jason said as he noticed her “ oh yes ! Sorry for making you wait you should have just called me in. Is anything the matter “ “ there’s nothing wrong just wanted to formally introduce Belle to you. Dante may have already told you that she would be staying with us as from now on “ “ yes he has “ she replied wanting to end the conversation short but the universe was not done breaking her heart “ and did he tell you that she was his fiancé “ “ yes he did “ “ ok then ! I hope you will be great friends and show her around the city ok bye ! I still have some business to take care of “ after saying this he left leaving the trio alone. “ nice to meet you “ Kim finally said before exiting to go to her room but not before noticing that Dante looked stressed. Before she could think too much on that though she got a text from Adrien telling her that he was at her door and was waiting for her. Immediately she rushed downstairs only to meet Adrien and Dante staring daggers at themselves. “ Adrien what are you doing here “ Kim asked cause she was feeling suffocated with the aura they were both giving out “ just wanted to ask if you would like to go to a carnival that’s in town with me and Janet “ “ mm I think I’ll go just wait a second for me to tidy up and can you please wait in the car till I come down “ “ sure don’t take too long we still have to go pick up Janet “ “ kk I’ll be right back “ Kim said before dashing back upstairs to get ready she didn’t know what occurred between Adrien and Dante but she wanted to know.

Chapter three : Rivals

Kim came down wearing a crop top with her jacket and jeans as she was about to leave for Adrien’s car though Dante stopped her and told her that they had something to talk about when she returned. Kim was really surprised by his actions cause he had never been so cold to her before and wondered what happened in California to change his mood so drastically. When she got into Adrien’s car they started to drive off in the direction of Janet’s house. Breaking the silence she asked Adrien who he knew Dante. Adrien answered by telling her their history of hatred towards each other, turns out the had once been good friends years back before Kim’s appearance but they got into a huge fight after Dante was manipulated into comparing their father’s wealth to each other and then they just couldn’t stand each other after that “ seriously “ Kim said laughing “ you guys disbanded your friendship cause of that “ “ why are you laughing it not funny “ “ sure it is can’t you hear yourself anyways that aside what do you think could have happened to someone to change their attitude so drastically “ “ maybe the person met Godzilla and turned them into a scaredy-cat “ “ haha so funny but seriously I’m not joking “ “ maybe the person is just having a bad time just give the person time it will be alright “ “ thanks “ Kim said after hearing what Adrien had said and gave him a big smile which made Adrien’s heart beat really fast. They finally got to Janet’s place and met her waiting on her porch “ where have you been Adrien “ Janet said without realizing that Kim was there “ calm down I just went to pick Kim up from her place and crossed path with a past rival “ “ wait you mean Dante right ? When did he get back ? Hey Kim sorry I didn’t see you I thought Adrien was lying about going to pick you up as an excuse “ she said when she finally noticed Kim at the passenger seat next to the driver’s seat in front “ Hey I’m not invisible you know and yes he meant Dante he returned just a few minutes ago and one more thing how do you know Dante “ “ oh that a long story anyways let’s go we are going to miss the carnival “.Later on that day Kim arrived home a half an hour late due to the traffic they had come across on their way back and didn’t expect to see Dante waiting for her “ hey aren’t you supposed to be in bed “ she asked surprised “ you are past your curfew it’s 7:30 now and your curfew was at 7 “ “ hey what’s wrong with you “ “ what do you mean “ “ firstly since when you got back you’ve been giving me the cold shoulder until you found out I knew your so called rival and now you are here acting like you care for me and so you may know the reason I’m late is because of the traffic we encountered on our way back I’ve already texted your dad telling him that and some advice let me be and don’t poke your nose into my business and be rude about it I’m tired and want to go rest so move aside “ saying this Kim walked up to her room and went to bed after taking a shower leaving Dante dumbfounded he never knew that she was so affected by his actions earlier that he didn’t think much of it.
