Eddie felt very happy seeing the crowd cheering for him. He sang another song on their request.Unlike other idols,Eddie's priority is always his fans happiness. If he needs to sing hundred songs to make them happy, he will do it. He felt valuable when his fans are happy. That's why he is number One in many people's heart still.

This is Eddie's third day on international fan meet. He is tired but determined to meet as much as his fans and sign autographs for them. Eddie's bodyguards and manager find it difficult to control the crowd. After midnight too there were hundreds of fans still waiting to meet their Idol!!!!

" You look tired Eddie, why do you work this hard? even if you did not do this fan meet also your fans will still love you" said Lucas enviously.

Luca's band comes fifth in ranking. Though they both signed at the same day Luca's band didn't gain much popularity as Eddie or his Albums. Luca and his other four friends were also a part of this international tour but only Eddie is this busy signing autographs and meeting fans.

"Well, I am not doing this for money or popularity, if my songs make people happy I am willing to sing thousands of songs for them." Replied Eddie taking a sip from his vodka.

" Man you must give us some chances too. Look at those hot chicks out there, they are all ready to spend a night with you but here you are sipping you're vodka and chatting with us. Enjoy their hotness too man." Said Vee patting Eddie's shoulder.

Eddie just smiled at him.

Though Eddie's popularity is high, he never been involved in any scandals. If someone tries to make some rumors about him, his fans were super supportive and protective. Most of the scandals subside itself without the involvement of media or his agency.

Eddie needs to keep his dignity to remain in the entertainment world. It is just fun for them but his life and career is on the line for Eddie. He made an uproar with his Dad when he decided to become a singer. His Dad agreed to him under certain conditions:

No. 1✓ Never get in to any scandals and ruin their family reputation.

No.2✓ Eddie must join in an agency his Dad agrees( as a result he is a singer in his own company but many doesn't know it).

No.3✓ Do not fall in love with anybody from the entertainment industry. To put in a nutshell he must marry the one his parents finds him.

Eddie agreed all this condition, his only precedence was singing all the time.

Eddie's father wanted him to look after the business but he doesn't show any interest in business. When Dad's business struggles, he show up and solve it but never stays back. It was under Eddie's pressure Mr. Thomas, his father send him to study medicine.

Seeing his son's passion he hoped that he could make a great doctor, he bought the major share of a hospital. But to his surprise, Eddie chose Dental science and never wanted to practice as a dentist. And changed his passion to singing. For the harmony of his family, Thomas agreed to Eddie.

People often praise Thomas saying how lucky he is to have a prodigy son but only Thomas knew the struggle with the prodigy son of his.

The last day of his international tour.They are at country B. A huge crowd approached Eddie's van and the security struggled to control the crowd. Eddie's manager and crew members were stunned by the crowd they witnessed at each country. As for the fans it is like seeing God eye to eye.

During his concert, he expressed his gratitude to all his fans and bid bye since it is his last day of the tour programme. He wanted to visit a lot of places in country B once the concert is over. He was thrilled. He made a rough plan for his site seeing before the tour started and it is under his request the company agreed to conduct the last concert at Country B.

On his way back to the changing room, after performance he heard about the book release of the author 'TOM' from Mr.Feng, his hair stylist. Mr. Feng is a die - hard fan of this author and he made all the crew members a fan of TOM. ' I wonder who Mr.Feng and my crew loves more. This handsome me or TOM' Eddie wondered.

" Eddie you must try Tom's new book. It is a romance novel but the feel you get from this is unexplainable. You will love it. Indeed you lack romance." said Feng passionately and handing him a book wrapped in gift paper.

" Oh! Mr. Feng, I'm sorry. Reading is not my cup of tea. I could practice my new album by the time I read this." said Eddie showing his hatredness."

" No,Eddie you must try it. I won't give you something not worthy. Just a few pages and I assure that you will like it. Spending time on this kind of novel isn't a waste. If you don't like it, I will never mention his name or books ever in front of you. I promise." Mr. Feng was confident while saying it.

" Alright, just few pages and if I don't like it, you are banned from mentioning his book or name again." Knowing Feng will not leave him until he agrees to read the book, Eddie agreed and took the book from Mr. Feng.

Unwraping the book he noticed the title of the book " THE FIRE IN MY HEART" by TOM. He turned over the book and flipped a few pages eagerly to see the author's picture out of curiosity.

There wasn't any picture of the author in the book, not even a brief description, all that's said about was the novel and it's popularity. Many famous people has reviewed the book. ' Indeed he is famous world wide' thought Eddie. He turned pages and looked in to the Dedication page.

"To my friends and to all the good readers world-wide.

For your Support and Kindness."

' What!!! just this much? and no name or persons in specific? What the heck? Is he an Orphan? Why doesn't he mention his family​? Not even a lover? That's weird!!! Eddie thought and took his phone from the table and Googled 'TOM the author of The Fire In My Heart.' To his surprise there wasn't any picture of TOM and all he got to know is TOM's famous works and criticism. ' No doubt, TOM is the pen name of somebody' thought Eddie.He read a few pages and find himself immersed in the book.

After an hour Eddie Marked a page and went out taking the book with him.

A pair of eyes were following him and soon Eddie left the changing room a call was made and said

" he left the changing room and will be on the road with in ten minutes. Be ready and do not make any mistakes" and the call ended.

Eddie moved towards his car in the parking lot. He has given a day off to all his staffs to be alone and explore the city all by himself. Placing the book next to him, Eddie drove off to the mountains. Eddie wasn't aware of the car following him. Turning the music on, he drove the car in a full speed. A truck came from the opposite side and hit him.

Eddie jumped forward and hit his head on the steering heavily. He became unconscious and all he remembers before closing his eyes was the pool of blood in front of his eyes and the Ambulance siren.

Wearing his graduation gown Eddie felt happy. ' I became a whole new person in this attire ' thought Eddie. He took pictures with his friends. His Dad and Mom was there and Dad was speaking proudly about Eddie to someone's father. Eddie was happy from the heart seeing his father's joyful eyes. He has never seen his father talking this much to someone other than business and about Eddie. He moved towards his Dad and Mom, gently put his arms around them and pose for the graduation picture. 'Ah... I'm so Happy.......'

" Mr. Edwin, Mr. Edwin, Can you hear me? Open your eyes Edwin"...... "Edwin......"

' Ah.... this noise is eating my head. where is Dad and Mom? Am I dreaming?' He tried to open his eyes but felt a heavy weight put on his eyelids and struggled to open his eyes. He slowly opened his eyes and felt very strange seeing the room he was in and the people around him. He was in a dilemma.

" Edwin, how do you feel now? Does your head hurt? Can you say how many fingers are these?" asked the Doctor.

Eddie looked at the doctor's hand strangely and answered "two". He didn't get what's going on. He looked around to find some familiar face to ask them what happened.

" Good, Edwin. Now can you tell me who are they?" The doctor pointed towards Eddie's manager and chauffeur.

Eddie felt uneasy. He was seeing them for the first time in his life. All he wondered was about his parents.

" No, I don't know them. Do I know them? who are they? Where is my Dad and Mom?" Eddie asked panicking.

Eddie's manager and chauffeur was shocked hearing him. " Little Edd, don't you remember me? I'm your Chauffeur uncle and he is your manager. Mr. Feng and all others are waiting outside . I informed your parents about your accident and they are on their way. Luca already went to the airport to pick them." said Chauffeur uncle sadly.

Eddie was half relived hearing his parents were on the way. But he didn't understand why this man called him ' little Edd ' only people close to him call ' Little Edd' , and who are those people waiting out side? Who is Luca? Where am I and how I end up in a hospital? All I remember is my graduation day. What happened afterwards? Eddie had a thousand questions in his mind and he felt his head is exploring nearly.

Seeing his confused face, the doctor explained him where he is and how he end up there. He also asked the nurse to shift him for an urgent MRI and left the room.

Eddie felt all this as a dream. He didn't remember himself on the stage neither recognize his fellow mates.

" Poor my Boy. Don't worry, Chauffeur uncle will tell you who all are they. Now my boy take rest for some time. Your Dad and Mom will be here any moment." Said chauffeur uncle trying to console him.

Eddie tried to sleep but he was bewildered. 'What's happening to me?' Eddie wondered.

Soon a nurse came in and took him to the MRI room. He met his Dad and Mom on the way. He was relieved seeing them. He noticed that his father has aged a lot more from his last memory. Eddie was sure after seeing his father that something has happened to him. After the MRI, the consulting doctor called Eddie and his parents to the consulting room and explained what happened to Eddie's memory.

" See Mr. Edwin, your head has hit very hard during the accident and as a result you developed 'Retrograde Amnesia'. Your head was badly injured and the hippocampus in your brain is affected. This hippocampus is responsible for forming memories, organising memories and retrieving them when needed."

Looking at the confused faces of Eddie and his Parents, the Doctor explained further..

" Considering the seriousness of the trauma, there is a chance that you may never remember those forgotten days. I strongly suggest you ' Occupational Therapy' which enable you to learn new things and start a whole new life."

Eddie's Mom started crying and his Dad took her outside. Eddie was in a state of shock. He sorrowfully looked into the eyes of the doctor

" Well, I'm not saying you will permanently loss those memories, it will come back to you eventually. Usually your memory improves in six to nine months time but you should never be stressed over it, and start fresh. This will pass Mr.Edwin." Said the Doctor giving him a smile.

Eddie was relieved hearing this.Thanking the doctor he came out and consoled his parents. His parents were actually happy that Eddie didn't forgot them and they felt sorry for his friends and fans. Coming back to the room, Eddie's manager showed him old videos of his performance and introduced his crew members. Eddie sat there wondering when this all happened!!!

After a week Eddie was discharged from the hospital. He decided to stay back at country B and start working as a dentist. All he remembers now is his profession and this is the best he could do now. Going back to a world which is completely strange to him now is useless. That will only hurt his fans and his beloved one's.

He terminated his contract with the company and decided to take a break for the time being. His Dad wasn't happy about leaving him alone in another country but Eddie knew how to convince his father. He send his parents and crew back and started job hunting.

Few weeks later he got a job offer from ' KAI hospitals and University'. He decided to join there. He grew Beard and mostach to disguise himself past days. He has become a new person with his beard and mostach.

" No one gonna recognize me as Star Eddie anymore" Eddie said himself patting his mostach and with a smile.
