Unlike other stories, our heroine isn't mistreated but coldly treated.
Ignored & unloved by her own family, Meg sought for love & affection from other people only to be betrayed & heartbroken.
Drowning her pain in alcohol, she woke up with a man in a hotel.
In school, she was met w/ scornful eyes & contemptuous smile after photos of her with that man were posted on her class's group chat.
"I'll help you with the scandal," he said. "In return you'll have to do something for me."
Afraid of expulsion and the possibility of not be able to go to college, Meg ended up making a deal with the man who was supposed to help her with the legal matter of her current predicament.
Caring & protective, Meg end up falling in love with him. Not wanting to fall victim to one-sided relationship like her previous one, she kept her feelings hidden and determined herself to keep the end of the bargain.
Once the deal was over, she left for another city to begin a new life but fate has another plan.

Mrs. Hans whom she can't remember meeting when she was still in the country was sitting next to the driver and was constantly checking on her.
Meg a never spoke a word all throughout the journey. All the queries Mrs. Hans had was either responded by a nod or by a shaking head.

(stand by the doorway) Young miss, welcome back! You must be hungry. I had the cook prepare some foods for you

No, thank you (says coldly) I'm tired. I want to take a rest

Meg unpacked some of her things especially her personal stuffs. She grab a novel book and decided to read it on the terrace

On her way to the courtyard, she couldn't help but be amazed by the flowers, tall trees, and the well maintained thick bushes.
Coming back to the country has actually made her anxious. She wondered what would her life be in this new and unfamiliar place.
The beautiful plants and colorful flowers made her anxiety disappear. It calmed her and made her feel relax.
She thought this courtyard might be her refuge from her long tiring day. After almost thirty minutes of exploring, she sat on the bench and began reading.

(flips through the next page and suddenly felt something)

Losing the concentration and the motivation to continue reading she decided to go back to the main house.
As she was about to exit the
courtyard a woman in her early
50's popped out of nowhere.

Lily!!! 😈 (exclaims menacingly)

🙀 (jumps up in surprise and the book she was holding flew up in the air and landed in front of the woman)
What happened next puts Meg in a state of shock and terror!!

Meg was dumbstruck with terror. She couldn't move. Her whole body seems to lost its strength. She opened her mouth to scream for help but for some reason her voice won't come out. It was as if she was in sleep paralysis.

You monster! 💢😡😠 You murderer!!!😡😠 (yells furiously while strangling Meg)

(still in shock and completely paralyzed) 💭Help!!😨💭 (starts to gasped for air) 💭Someone please help me!!😱💭
