The moon hung low in the ink-black sky, casting an eerie glow over the dense forest. Han Harui, his senses honed to a razor's edge, sprinted through the tangled underbrush, his breaths ragged and labored. Every footfall reverberated through the silent night, echoing like a drumbeat of impending doom.

His heart pounded in his chest, fueled by a mixture of adrenaline and the primal instinct of survival. Han was no stranger to the darkness that lurked within the woods; he had spent years honing his skills as a Slayer, a relentless hunter of the creatures that haunted the night.

But tonight was different. Tonight, the darkness seemed to pulse with a malevolent energy, as if the very fabric of reality itself was unraveling at the seams. Han knew that he was running out of time, that the fate of the world hung in the balance, teetering on the edge of oblivion.

With a swift motion, Han unsheathed his gleaming silver blade, its edges shimmering in the moonlight. Gripping the hilt tightly, he pressed forward, his senses tingling with anticipation. Suddenly, a guttural growl echoed through the trees, causing Han to skid to a halt. His eyes narrowed as he scanned the darkness, his muscles tensed and ready for action. There, amidst the twisting branches and gnarled roots, lurked his prey: a pack of ravenous werewolves, their eyes burning with feral hunger.

Without hesitation, Han lunged forward, his blade flashing in the moonlight as he unleashed a flurry of deadly strikes. The air filled with the sound of clashing steel and savage snarls as the creatures fought back with ferocious intensity.

As the last of the werewolves fell beneath his blade, Han stood amidst the blood-soaked earth, his chest heaving with exertion. But there was no time to rest, no time to revel in his victory. For the darkness still lingered, its tendrils reaching out with insatiable hunger.

With a steely resolve, Han continued on his journey, his path illuminated by the pale light of the moon. For he knew that the fate of the world depended on his bravery, his strength, and his unwavering determination to stand against the darkness, no matter the cost.

As He hunted a boar which was drinking water near a riverbed, Han threw spear at the boar which killed the boar. He lifted the boar and headed towards his house. As he was heading his house, Dark Aura emerged from nowhere. Han with no hesitation decided to be on his guard and continue walking towards his house.

As he was entered the house, He immediately cutting the boar meat . As he was cutting the boar meat, Somebody knocked the door. "Who is it?" Han said. Nobody answered. Han again said "Who the hell is it?". Still nobody replied.

As Han went near the door. The door opened when Han didn't even touch it. As He Checked outside with his Kitchen. there was nobody there. As he turned towards his house, He what appeared to be a man. It was wearing a dark cloak. As he immediately recognized it was a Demon, He asked the demon "WHY ARE YOU HERE".

The demon replied"As One has been blood thirst for too long and One has the desire to get ones desires with the help of blood, I challenge thy to a duel of death.

Han replied "Bring it on"

With no time to waste Han rushed towards the demon and Threw a sealed bomb at the demon. As the bomb blew the was no sight of the demon. As Han looked up, the demon was falling towards Han, He dodged the demons attack and slashed its Arm, but it regenerated within 10 seconds.

The Demon with a cunning look and laugh at Han

"Is this what your capable of my fellow human. Do you know that the only way a Demon can be killed is by sunlight and a specially designed swords"?

Is that so?

Han Replied.

He said to himself "If I can't kill it by my sword then I have to buy time till Sunrise.

As they continued the duel, Han was trying his best to avoid getting his by the demon.

As Han began to throw his daggers as a distraction. The demon began to evolve the dead werewolves which Han killed not long ago.

The Demon's face slowly began to show, and the face looks more of a human than a Demon. His body turned into half werewolf.

"Hehe he.... Human. You are no match for me for me"

As Han began to attack the demon evaded the attack and broke Han's Ribs by a throbbing kick by the demon. As Han was becoming more weak, The demon again kicked Han which broke his neck. Which made Han which fully knocked out.

"I must say you brought up a good fight. But know this, demons are far more capable than mere Humans."

As the demon began to approach towards Han, The Sun rose.

"Your Damn lucky I tell you!, The next time we meet it won't end like this".

As Han woke up, He had so much pain he could barely move.

As he realized he was in his house. When he looked at his fireplace he saw a old man sitting on a chair. As Han moved the old man turned around.

Sudo:"Han are you feeling better?"

Han:" So it's you grandpa sudo"

Sudo:"What happened to you? I saw you collapsed next to a tree".

Han:"I fought a Demon. It wasn't an ordinary demon. It can evolve with other animals" .

"I tried to beat him, but my sword wasn't able to slice him".

It better be Shapeshifting Demon. They used to be human, but they were given demon blood by The Demon monarch Rouen Kaiden.

"This guy can be a hassle. Your lucky you are strong otherwise you'd be dead by now.

You have been unconscious for 10 days. It seems to be that your neck and ribs was broken. But fortunately I brought some Medicine from the guild. You will get better within a month. So for now you mustn't move too much."

Han":" Thanks! So when are you leaving? "

Sudo:" Until you get better. How about you join the SLAYER guild? You are stronger than most of the members since I've been teaching you every thing I know. If you join the guild you will get a Slayer blade. With this blade you can kill demons."

Han:"Would I stand out!"

Sudo:" Of course you will Han

You're my grandson"

Han:"So we will go to the guild Until you get better."

After one month, Han's injuries have fully recovered.

Han got out of the house after packing his things. Sudo was outside waiting for Han.

"Shall we go?"
