Nathalie's POV:

(Friday afternoon)

My friends and I were on a school field trip with our adviser in the middle of the woods, as we were about to leave the driver told us that the engine of the bus was not working, so we had to stay for the night, and luckily we brought some tents but we had to share. All of us were sitting by the campfire while eating marshmallows and singing songs together, after all of that we went to our tents and slept.

I woke up to the sound of something strange, it was a calm song but with weird echo effects and strange growling noises, Issac woke up beside me since we were sharing a tent together and the growling became louder and louder every minute. Me and Issac got out of our tent and saw everyone sitting near the campfire, we joined in and I asked everyone if they also heard a calm song and some growling noises but all of them shook their head and said they haven't heard anything and was just hungry, that was quite strange I swear me and Issac have heard it. After a while when our teacher fell asleep, we were all playing a game of truth or dare, I was the first one to be asked "Nathalie, truth or dare?" daniel asked and I obviously chose truth since it's better than having an embarrassing dare to do.

"Do you like Issac?" Daniel just straight up answered that question, seriously I really need to stop playing truth or dare with my friends, as I was about to answer the ground rumbled beneath us like it was an earthquake! All of us were covering our heads and after the earthquake I saw an old house in the distance but didn't comply, and we continued playing, then it was Daniels turn to be asked "hey Daniel, truth or dare?" Mary asked and of course Daniel would choose dare since he is not scared of anything yeah right like I'll believe that, "well I dare you to go inside that house over there! " Mary said looking at us while me and Issac looked unsure of the dare that was given "how about we all should go?" Issac said while I was staring at him, Issac I love you, but that's just even more stupid than the dare Mary gave to Daniel. All of us agreed, I'm still not sure if it's a great idea, but I wanted to investigate that house because it seemed suspicious, all of us walked towards the house quietly so no one could hear us and as we got inside the place seemed to be abandoned and old because of the dust and broken parts of the house "guys, are you sure this is a good idea?" Luca asked while looking scared I mean I can relate to that since this place is giving me goosebumps.

suddenly the house began to shake and fall apart and as we tried to evacuate the area, some planks and logs fell and covered the doors so we can't get out!

The house was still shaking and falling apart, my friends and I were under a table waiting for the shaking to stop. As it stopped all of us got out of the table, "what was that?!" asked Mary looking panicked and walking in circles, as everyone was complaining I heard a sweet and calm lullaby nearby, so I walked out of the room my friends, and I were in, then search for where the voice came from, and eventually I found a room that has the loudest sound of the lullaby, I walked inside and saw a girl with white hair and red eyes she also kind of had some stains in her clothes, I looked at her as she was still singing until I realized that she stopped singing and was looking at me, she stood up and looked at me with a stern face and her glowing red eyes felt like she was staring at my soul "uh hello?" I said as she was still looking at me up and down but then raised her hands, and I was pushed to the wall by a strong force then began choking me making me unable to breathe, as I was about to faint I heard the girl say something "you humans have no right to destroy our home and slay our kind, I came back to the human world to get my revenge" I fainted before I could even react to what she said, what does she mean by that? But whatever it is it does not look good at all. I woke up and saw my friends "Nathalie! You're okay!" Mary said hugging me tightly, and I hugged her back, Luca helped me get up, and I wasn't even thinking about my friends for a second since I was thinking of what that girl told me before I fainted. All of us decided to stay and explore the place for a while, all of us were into groups, Daniel and Mary were going together while I was left with Issac and Luca, we went upstairs and saw a room filled with old books and scrolls it seemed like this room is a library, the three of us searched for some clues inside books and found nothing, after a while of searching Issac found a scroll with pictures of the ancient times.

We opened the scroll just to see pictures of sirens and humans, it says here "Long ago, sirens have a close connection to humans and lived in peace and harmony but all of that changed when a group of humans arrived at the territory of the sirens, destroying and slaughtering every single one of them, they say the humans were only after the sirens treasure, everyone thought that they killed all of them but not knowing there's still one left, my friends and I searched every single one of a clue if there's still one siren left, and eventually we found a house in the middle of the woods, as we came inside the door shut completely my friend wanted to explore the place, but I was trying to open the door and as I did, so I saw my friend covered in blood and crawled towards me warning me to leave and never come back then something in the shadows pulled my friend and from that day on I never saw my friend every again the last thing I heard of her was a calm sweet lullaby. H3LP M3" and as we were reading it my gut tells me I shouldn't worry about the scroll since I felt a shiver through my spine looking around our surroundings, after a moment all of us head back to the main door to see if Daniel and Mary have found some clues somehow but as we were heading there we heard a loud terrible noise that made our ears hurt, we all covered our ears and saw the girl once again. "Who are you, and why are you here!" Issac asked the girl as she just grinned looking at the three of us "who am I? I'm your worst nightmare" she said as she disappeared, and then a wooden pillar fell on the door blocking our way out.

We tried to get out but there was no point, we were stuck and the only way to get out is by waiting for Mary and Daniel to eventually find us. We decided to find more clues about this place and why it was made, is it for protecting the girl or is it something else? We searched and searched for hours hoping that we can find any clue but nothing at all and there was no sign that our friends will find us, I eventually gave up since my legs were sore for standing too long, and after a minute of resting Issac found something that seems to be written in a strange and weird language that we don't understand at all it says " Η οικογένειά μου και εγώ κάναμε ένα κανονικό πικνίκ κοντά στο σπίτι μας, όταν μια ομάδα ανθρώπων κατέστρεψε το σπίτι μας και έσφαξε τις άλλες σειρήνες, η οικογένειά μου και εγώ προσπαθήσαμε να ξεφύγουμε, αλλά ήμουν τόσο φοβισμένος που κρύφτηκα κάτω από το τραπέζι του σπιτιού μας και μετά όλα είχαν τελειώσει, είδα κάθε Σειρήνα νεκρή και μοιάζω σαν να είμαι η μόνη ζωντανή, ορκίζομαι με τα βάθη της καρδιάς μου ότι θα πάρω την εκδίκησή μου από τους ανθρώπους μια μέρα. Άρχισα λοιπόν να κάνω το σπίτι μια μαγική βάση τηλεμεταφοράς που μπορεί να με κάνει να πάω οπουδήποτε σε όλο τον κόσμο, ήταν ωραίο να πάρω την εκδίκησή μου, αλλά ήμουν μόνος και μου έλειπε η ευτυχία που μοιραζόταν η οικογένειά μου σε αυτό το σπίτι." we all had no clue on what it says so we decided to keep it and show it to the others later and ask if they know what it is, for now all of us are just gonna have some rest.

After an hour of resting, we heard some loud noises from the door, and it seemed like someone was trying to break through it, we all prepared ourselves in case it was some random creature or something. As the door opened we saw Daniel and Mary with an axe and some stains of blood? Daniel was about to hug us but then Issac knocked him off with a small wooden plank "oops my bad, I thought it was an ugly witch" he said while Luca burst out laughing, and after some time all of us were discussing the clues we had found and tried to solve the mystery that I don't even know why we ended up trying to solve.

After some minutes we were all getting hungry,, and we didn't have anything to eat, we decided to leave the library and find some food in the other rooms. "Wait, don't you guys have axes? Then that means we can break the door and get out of this place" asked Luca seeking happiness,, but his smile turned into a frown when Mary and Daniel explained to us that even if they have axes to try and break the door open it had some sort of magic that wouldn't budge through. After walking for a minute we spotted a dining room filled with food, so we sat down at the table and ate some food, but something about the food feels strange, why would there be food in this abandoned place anyway? My thoughts were starting to come out,, but My stomach really wanted to eat, so I ate some food while my friends ate their heart out with all the food on the table. After all of us were full, all of us started to feel a strange sensation in our stomach.

Our stomachs began hurting and After a while everyone fainted including me, I woke up to the sound of the strange and calming lullaby again I was in a dark and black room filled with smoke, my spine began to shiver a little after feeling the smoke like it had absorbed my soul. I began to hallucinate things like dead bodies and human body parts like something or someone ripped it apart, my head began to spin like I finished riding a roller coaster. I began to flash out again and felt like my soul had left my body, the room began to be filled with all of my fears and phobias which is scaring me, I closed my eyes and tried to ignore all the things and sounds happening, but it only got louder every time.

I woke up after hearing those words and saw all of my friends still unconscious, I sighed in relief knowing that all of that wasn't real. I waited patiently for my friends to eventually wake up, but I got impatient in just 30 minutes, so I walked out of the room and sat outside the door looking down as my mind was busy asking questions that I didn't even know how to answer, I felt a hand on my shoulder, so I quickly grabbed the hand then twisted it, but then I stopped before realizing it was Issac "could you stop that every single goddamn time" he says as I was trying hard not to laugh "it's called self-defense idiot" I said as he just rolled his eyes "whatever you say, darling" he said as he just winked at me and I just chuckled he sat next to me and the two of us talked and waited for the others to wake up, gosh I keep getting flustered every time he calls me by those nicknames, I forgot all about those bad nightmares I had just now and rest my head on his shoulder, he smiles, and I closed my eyes while just enjoying this moment.
