“Where are you going?!”

I tried my best to follow him.. I don’t get it why he suddenly leaving? I was hoping there might me answer from him and yet all I hear is.. silence.. I keep running after him trying to catch him but I can’t.. I just can’t.. The thing that stopped me from following him that when I tripped and hurt my knees.. He didn’t even bother to look back at me.. not even once.. he just.. left me all alone..

“Winter!!! Wake up honey we’re going to be late for our flight”

My mom’s voice woken me up once again from the nightmare I’ve keep having for years.. I just couldn’t remember how he looks like.. that boy.. he keep messing with my head.. It doesn’t matter.. maybe if I just stop thinking about his existence the dream might will stop.. who knows?

I get up from my bed and stretch my body a little. It’s a day to start a new life.. I went to bathroom and took shower.. it felt so refreshing as the cold water ran down my body but my mind just can’t get off from the nightmare I keep thinking who is this boy..

“Ugh.. whatever it’s just a dream”

After done taking shower, I went inside my room with towel warped around my body, I sit facing my makeup table and start doing my daily routine, I apply some INNISFREE green tea seed serum before applying INNISFREE cherry blossom jelly cream and finally INNISFREE mild cica sunscreen SPF50+, after done I start putting on my makeup, usually I would prefer Strawberry makeup time but today I’m doing Clean girl makeup well it’s easy to do because I’m lazy to apply so much foundation..

after done doing my routine, I put on my outfit.

As done I look around my room..

“Good bye my room..”

it’s time for me to move and start a new life.. I went downstairs bringing my luggage, my mom were ready and as always gorgeous.. My dad were already waiting for us at the airport so we’re in rush.. My mom called a taxi and told the driver which location..

It’s taking only 15 minutes of ride to arrive at the airport, as soon as we arrive my dad were waiting for us in the entrance. He helped my mom with her luggage and hand both of our tickets, we walk towards the entrance of the airplane and enter it together, my dad took a first class flight. The Flight attendant help us with our luggage and we sit on our seat.. it’s so comfortable.. and I got to sit by the window side.. I could see the city from this view. The flight will took 4 hours 10 minutes from Moscow to London.

As time goes by we finally landed at London.. We bring our luggage together and head to our new house, our driver greeted us and drove us to our new house located. It took around 40 minutes to arrive.. the new house is so big.. it’s bigger than my old house.

We enter our new house, it was perfect. My dad tell me I could choose any room I want so I decided to choose the room in third floor, I open one of the room, it was so big, I put my luggage and immediately lay down on my bed, the mattress soo soft, “dad always give the best to his family” I thought in my mind. Slowly I fall asleep..

it’s the dream again.. the boy again.. why this dream always come back.. what’s the meaning of this.. again I tried to chase after the boy and failed.. “this all just a dream” I forced myself to woke up.. I grab my phone and it show time right now is 4 in the morning.. Sh!t.. I try to fall asleep back.. but I can’t.. so I stayed awake and scroll down Tiktok. Today is my first day in College, new friend, new school, new teacher.

After spending time watching Tiktok, the clock show its 7 in the morning, I go to the bathroom and take shower, after that doing my daily skincare. As done I put on my outfit which is a pair of earrings, corset, black heels boots and a combat aka edgey cloth..

I went downstairs and saw my mom cooking breakfast, she is had the kindest heart in the world.. sometimes I wonder if I could survive living without mom and dad... I walk towards my mom and approach her..,,

“Morning mom”

I say while taking a sit at one of the chair at the dining table

My mom heard and reply

”hey honey, you woke up early? Class start at 9 right?”

”Yup, first class start at nine mom”

My mind thinking ‘mom has such angelic voice’

”make more friend alright honey?”

”I will mom don’t worry, by the way mom, what are you cooking?”

I ask as the smell of the food surrounding my nose, even with just smell I could tell it’s a delicious food

”it’s just a simple breakfast, some pancakes, and coffee cakes”

I got surprised that mom called that ‘simple breakfast?!’

”mom that’s literally not simple, it sounds and smell delicious”

”Honey, you always love food”

Mom chuckled after she say that.. it made me happy seeing mom this way

”Can’t help when it’s my mom who’s the cooker”

Mom put those breakfast she cooked on a plate and placed them on dining table

“I’m gonna call your dad first alright honey?”

”alright mom”

with that mom head towards her room.. after a minute mom come back with dad both of them took a sit

“Morning dad” I greeted my dad

”Morning dear”

We start eating the breakfast mom just made so do I.. it taste soo delicious,,

after like 6 minutes we done eating and I help mom doing the dishes, and after done the clock show it’s 8:30 a.m so I get my books and notes so do my bag and tell mom and dad I’m going to college, last week I just got my drive license so I could drive myself to anywhere, I put on location in my phone to the university and start driving to the location

It doesn’t take long only 10 minutes to arrive, as I arrived at the Cambridge University, I parked my car at the parking lot, and suddenly a motorbike parked beside me.. the annoying sounds coming from it really ruined my peaceful day.. I came out of my car bringing my bag and books along, I head straight to the chancellor room, after arrive at the door I knocked on it slightly.. KNOCK.. KNOCK... KNOCK..

”come in”

a male voice answer.. I came in the room and closed the door behind me

”ohh so you’re the exchange student, it’s nice to meet you, I’m Sir Richard”

”it’s nice to meet you too sir”

”yes yes so alright.. you’re in Chemistry class, You can talk with Professor Alex Volkov”

”Alright Thank you very much sir!”

I then left the chancellor room and head towards the Chemistry lecture hall, just as I enter the hall I could see a young man preparing notes on the white board.. he turned his attention to me just as soon as I entered the hall

”new?”

he asked with a firm voice

”Yes professor”

”Take a seat anywhere you want the class will start in 5 minutes”

”Alright professor”

I take a sit at the second row and take my books and notes out placing them on the table then start doing some self study, just then other students start coming in, and a girl with Blonde hair and pink white dress sit beside me

”Hey! Haven’t seen you around, you new?”

”Yes”

”I’m Ava Nash it’s nice to meet you, what’s yours?”

”Winter Ford”

”Pretty name!”

”Thanks”

A group of man took a sit behind us and they’re start laughing because the class doesn’t start yet.. as always.. guys.. ughh.. annoying.. I turned my head and look at them then turn back to talk with Ava, before one of those guys ‘psst’ me

“Psst.. are you new? My friend ask you out”

Then they laugh like a bunch of idiot..

These mans is just so annoying.. i ignored them and just continue doing self study, then Professor Alex started the class

The class last 50 minutes before dismissed, after the class dismissed Me and Ava decided to go to the library to find some reference books, we sat there until 1 p.m before Ava’s friend arrived.

“Hey! Who’s her Ava? Haven’t seen her around?”

One of them say

”Oh she’s new transferred, she’s in the same major with me, sit” Ava replied and those two sit

”Hey, I’m Cecily Knight you can call me Ceci, and this is Annika Volkov”

”Winter, it’s nice to meet you two”

”Nice to meet you too” Both of them say at the same time before Ava suddenly snap

”right Annika, is your brother planning to give us another assignment?”

”Uhh- I’m not really sure, because nowadays he’s not like usual he came back late so I assume he doesn’t have time to prepare assignments for you guys”

”Ohhh” Ava replied ”Right I forgot to tell you that Annika’s brother is our professor” Ava say turning her attention towards me.

”Oh so that’s explain how their Surename is same”

Then we 4 made to the nearest cafe, took a sit and order coffee as we share things about us to each other and became close..

Times flies and I’ve been studying in Cambridge university for a week, everything was fine except for one thing.. There this one boy that keep annoying me.. We’ve known each other since highschool and he always bully me since then.. One time I was at toilet and he lock me inside the toilet then when teacher ask who’s locking me up, he play innocent and act as if he know nothing and even worse he’s always taking my place as 1st ranked in exam.. And today.. I was eating alone because Ava were sick so she couldn’t come, meanwhile Cecily and Annika having assignments to complete because they were in different major.. I was sitting and eating peacefully until a boy sit in front of me ruining my view of my crush and well my crush.. is my enemy older brother, Eli King.. he’s such a kind hearted person.. always helping me when I’m in trouble with something.. but I just couldn’t bring myself to confess because he always tell me he saw me as a little sister..

“Soooooo\~ you’re telling me you are in Chemistry major.. Seriously? Are you following me tho?”

Landon King yes he’s the guy that think every girls adore him and overconfident of himself

“Ew? You think you’re so attractive that I would follow you? Perhaps maybe you’re the one who following me?” I replied not even looking at him as I continue to eat.

”Well I’m so attractive, and following you? If you’re sexy enough then yes I might be following you\~”

I rolled my eyes at his words and as I was about to bite my apple he snatch it from my hand and bite it. I look at him frowning

“What the hell? Can’t even afford apple?”

”Looks like I’ve made the princess mad”

Annoying, Annoying, Annoying!!!! I feel like about to shout at him but hold myself and calm myself down and say:

“Poor homeless begging for food”

”Awww princess want some bite” Landon say handing out the apple

“Eat it all by yourself!” I got up and walk away

As I was walking towards my car a cute girl approached me I believe she’s Jenny from Maths major, that one popular girl..

”Hey, Tonight we held a party at Club XZ, you’re invited too please do come, it’s my birthday party”

”Yes sure! I’ll be there..”

Jenny then left after handing me a piece of paper with address written there and dress code

Hmm.. well I don’t really like social party but birthday party is a special day for someone.. so maybe I’ll come..

I get in my BMW car, starting the engine and drove back to my home..

Just as I arrived at my home I parked and head inside.. I was really pissed by Landon but yeah he’s a pain in the ass..

“I’m home..” I say entering the house and close the door behind me

”welcome back honey, how’s class” My mom welcomed

“Good as always mom, where’s dad?”

”Oh your dad had already start working this morning, he’ll come back at 6”

”Alright mom.. by the way mom, my friend invited me to their party”

”Really honey?! That’s good you can make more friend and interact well!” Mom say excitedly because she knew that I’m not socialize and it’s a great news to her that I finally

“So I can go mom?”

”Absolutely honey!”

And As night came I dress up following the dress code simple yet elegant..

I have texted my best friends in our group that I’ll pick them up

After done, I put my smartphone in my bag and head out, I drove to Ava’s house because all of them already gathered there and wait for me..

After 20 minutes of driving I arrive at Ava’s house, three of them were dressed soo gorgeous! Ava took a seat at the passenger seat meanwhile Annika and Cecily took a seat at the back seat.. I drove to the club address that were given to me these afternoon..

As soon as we arrived, I parked my car and before we entered the club, we were being told that everyone MUST wear a masquerade mask

I put this on meanwhile Cecily wore a blue one, Annika black and Ava a peach one, we entered the club together, everyone on the club is wearing a masquerade mask..
