I will not sign the divorce!(Omegaverse)

Episode 1

The city's bustle at night was chaotic; for many, life began at nightfall.

Some people enjoyed the long night gathered in clubs, bars, with the pleasant company of their friends or partners; the unfortunate wandered the streets seeking to survive one more day; and some would work throughout the night to earn a living.

Amidst the city's hustle and bustle, a young man was squatting with his back against the wall, intently reading a small book.

He was taking a short break from his job at one of the city's most important clubs, squatting outside the back door in the company of trash cans.

"Wow, I would do anything with that much money, buy so many things," the young man expressed in awe as he read the book.

"How come these guys have so much money?" he continued, expressing his amazement.

The book in question was a novel.

One day, while returning from work in the morning, a teenage girl who was running in a hurry bumped into him, apologizing. The teenager ran off again in a hurry, as she looked rushed.

In the collision, the teenager had dropped a book from her backpack, so he picked up the book and ran after the girl to return it, but she had already disappeared into the crowd that was busily walking to their respective jobs.

He thought about what to do because maybe the teenager would need the book to continue her studies. He was tired, as he had just gotten off work and just wanted to go back to rest.

He skimmed through the book to see if it had the girl's name written on it so he could return it, but there was nothing.

He didn't take much interest in what it was written, since he hadn't finished high school and wouldn't understand the subjects the book dealt with.

But his interest was piqued when he saw the words money* and properties* written down. Curiously, he read a part of the book in the middle of the street.

"Alpha?" he uttered in confusion.

There were several words unknown to him, but he liked that this being called alpha seemed to have a lot of money.

He didn't read often, but it was easy to deduce that the book was about a light novel.

The title on the cover couldn't be seen as it was very well covered, maybe the girl was reading it between classes and covered it so as not to be noticed, he thought.

He closed the book and went back to the building where he rented a small room to continue reading the novel.

Even though he was tired, the young man read each page with interest.

It seemed to be a fantasy story with strange beings, alphas, omegas, and betas. He didn't take much interest in this matter and just focused on all the money, riches, properties, that this being called alpha, a wealthy man, had.

The plot was about a married couple who apparently had an arranged marriage, a loveless couple, and apparently this alpha had a lover whom he spoiled with all kinds of gifts. There are couples like that all over the world, the young man thought.

He was not bothered by the fact that the novel was about a married couple between men, he had seen many things up to this point in his life, so it was not a surprise.

He read over and over again the parts that detailed the gifts given by the alpha to his lover, gifts so expensive and beyond his imagination.

Even that alpha had given his lover an unlimited credit card to use as he pleased.

It was those parts of the novel that he enjoyed reading, how that lover bought whatever he wanted and the gifts that alpha gave him. He couldn't help but imagine what he himself would do with so much money.

That way, he would read the book in his spare time from work and when he returned to his room after a long day.

Now he was halfway through the story, squatting outside the back door of the building where he worked. He only had a few minutes left to finish his break, so he hurried to finish the chapter he was reading.

This part mentioned the omega husband of that alpha, a simple man who didn't spend a single penny of the money his husband had given him an equally credit card.

"What a fool, he should take advantage and buy whatever he wants," the young man opined in annoyance.

"I would," he added.

As he read, he came to an interesting part where it talked about the couple's divorce, he was astonished by the large amount of money the omega husband would receive after the divorce.

"Wow, I would live peacefully for the rest of my life with all that money."

At the end of his break, the young man put the book away in his backpack to continue reading it as soon as he got back to his room.

Unexpected events usually happen suddenly.

Just before entering the door, there was a great commotion coming from deep inside the alley.

The young man approached a little to see what was going on; fights like these always brought trouble to the club where he worked.

He cautiously approached, ready to ask his co-workers for help if the fight escalated. The confrontation didn't seem serious, but he stopped when he noticed that one of his co-workers was being attacked by three men.

He was going to help, only that the moment his partner noticed his presence, he shouted loudly while pointing at him.

"It's him! He has the money!" he shouted, getting the attention of the three men.

The attackers turned to look at him and one of them walked quickly towards him to grab him before the young man could react.

"He says you have our money, be cooperative and give us the money without any trouble," the man mentioned.

"I don't know what you're talking about, I don't have your money," the young man replied.

The man rubbed his face in frustration, grabbed the young man tightly, and threw him to the floor, giving him a hard kick to the stomach.

"You'd better give me my money, I'm not a very patient person," the nasty-looking man remarked.

The young man held his stomach in pain; that kick had knocked the wind out of him.

"Bro, check his backpack," said another of the men.

The backpack was emptied abruptly, an old cell phone, a few coins, a worn jacket, and a small book, was all that fell out of the backpack.

"There's nothing here, just trash!" shouted the man furiously.

"Listen to me carefully, if neither of you gives me my money now, I'm going to finish both of you off," threatened the man who had kicked him.

His partner, who was also on the floor, pointed at him again with a trembling hand.

"He... he has the money," he said cheekily.

The young man just looked at him in bewilderment, he didn't know him very well, but he wanted to help him and got caught up in this situation being accused by his partner.

Now angrier, the man grabbed the young man by the hair, making him stand up.

"Where's my money?" he asked impatiently.

"I don't know, I don't know anything," the young man replied.

"Ha, I'm losing my patience," the man snorted.

This situation would get worse if he didn't do anything, in the distance you could hear the voices of people walking nearby, taking courage, the young man began to shout with all his might asking for help, an action that caused him to be beaten by the men.

Amidst the blows, he could hear the footsteps of several people approaching, the young man thought that everything would end, he didn't care about the pain from the blows, he was relieved, but his relief was short-lived when he felt a sharp object enter his stomach.

The men fled the scene before being seen leaving the young man wounded on the floor.

His partner who had framed him, got up and ran away without even looking at him.

With a smile on his lips, the young man felt pathetic for trying to help the one who had betrayed and abandoned him.

The wound in his stomach hurt too much, he put his hand over it only to feel the thick liquid come out without stopping.

"I guess it ends like this," he said to himself.

His body was already weak, he had no more strength to keep his eyes open, he was tired, he just wanted to sleep.

He closed his eyes to rest, this life had been too hard for him, and it was okay to end this way.

The last thing he could hear were the screams of several people and he fell into a deep sleep.

...****************...

A comfortable bed, soft and warm blankets, the young omega who was already lying on the bed stretched his whole body comfortably.

He rubbed his eyes before waking up, threw back the covers, got out of bed, and walked to the large window to open the curtains and allow the sun's rays to enter the room.

The view outside was beautiful, a large garden filled with plants and roses.

"It's beautiful," said the young man with a smile.

He walked around the room observing every detail in it, a large room with a spacious bed in the middle; a closet big enough for three people to sleep in, but which was empty without many clothes.

"Is this the afterlife?" he wondered.

The last thing he remembered was lying on that cold floor bleeding to death.

If this was paradise, then he would live well.

He put on his slippers and left the room, the house was equally huge, he went down the stairs ready to go out into the garden, but stopped when he saw the picture frame that was on a shelf.

The photograph of a married couple, two men, both expressionless at such an important event.

He left the frame unimportant, looked up and found himself with his own reflection in the mirror, a somewhat different face, he didn't care either; but what surprised him was that that face was the same as the man in the photograph.

"Huh? When did I get married?" he questioned himself.

He thought about the last events of his life, at no time did he sign an unknown paper that would lead him to a marriage, unless he was unconscious.

"Sir?" called an unknown voice.

The young man turned to see the woman holding a tray full of medicines along with a glass of water.

"You must take your medicine," said the woman.

The young man went over to take one of the medicine bottles and read what it said.

Special medicine for omegas.

"Omega?"

Episode 2

"Sir?", the woman called again.

"I think I read that book too much", the young man smiled.

A dream, it's a dream, he repeated to himself several times.

When he suffered from nightmares, he had the perfect way to wake up from them.

He placed one of his hands on his forearm and began to pinch himself hard, although it hurt, this method always worked to wake up from those nightmares.

Only this time it didn't work.

He repeated the same thing on his other arm, but it didn't work either.

The woman was stunned by his behavior, the young man was always a quiet person despite his state of health, so it was strange to see him acting that way.

"... Should I call the doctor?", she asked worriedly.

The young man was already taking several medications, it was a matter of time before one of them started to affect him, which is why he might be acting that way.

As nothing worked to wake up from the dream, the young man smiled and went back upstairs to his room.

"I'll go back to sleep, maybe that will work," he mentioned as he climbed the stairs.

"Wait, Sir, you have to take your medication," the woman insisted.

"Medication for what?", the young man asked, stopping halfway up the stairs.

"... To help you sleep, to stabilize your moods, for your concentration, for your headache, for your stomach ache, and some vitamins," the woman mentioned one by one.

She was in charge of giving him his medication every day, special medications for omegas, it was already a habit.

The young man was impressed to hear so many medications named.

"I don't need them, I feel perfectly fine, maybe I just need a little rest", said the young man.

He had never taken so many medications in his life, only once when he had a severe infection from eating something bad, otherwise, he was in good health, he just needed to rest his body from all the accumulated work.

"... But Sir, you need to take them, it was the doctor's indication," the woman continued to plead.

If anything were to happen to the young man while he was in her care, she would be held responsible and would bear all the blame and punishment that came with it.

Seeing her worried, the young man went downstairs and took some vitamins.

"This is enough, I really am fine, don't worry too much", he said with a smile.

Although still uneasy, the woman only nodded, she could not force the young man to do something he did not want to do, only ask that nothing bad would happen to him.

The young man continued to smile as he looked at the woman.

"I really am fine, is my health that bad?", he asked.

"... Generally, you have trouble sleeping, mood swings, body aches, especially headaches, the doctor said your condition was not that serious, but that you should take care of yourself... and...and not abuse controlled substances again, or it could get worse," the woman explained a little embarrassed.

"Substances?", the young man questioned.

"Mmm, well, I have no problem with those things, so everything is fine," he said with a smile.

As he kept himself busy with work, he didn't have the time or desire to pay attention to those things, even though he had been offered to sell them to him several times.

"Are you sure you're okay?", the woman asked, looking at the smiling young man.

"Yes, very good, in fact, I feel as if I have been reborn", he replied with a big smile.

He fixed his gaze on the large window where the rays of the warm sun were peeking through, it seemed to be ten o'clock in the morning, soon it would be time to eat.

"Is there enough food in the kitchen?" he asked.

"What?, oh, yes, if there is anything you want in particular, you can tell me", the woman expressed.

"In that case, let's prepare something together, there's no one else in this house, is there?" asked the young man.

"No, there's no one, your husband comes to visit once every three months, ...your mother comes to the house once a month, that's all," the woman explained.

The young man received no visitors, no one came to see him, it was just her and the young man who lived in this house.

"My mother?", the young man questioned.

The woman nodded a little fearfully, the young man's mother was a person she disliked.

"I see, there are a lot of things I want to ask you, but first the food, that's the important thing," the young man expressed as he headed for the kitchen.

Although the woman tried to stop him, it was nice to prepare the food with him.

"I didn't think you knew how to cook," the woman said, seeing the large amount of food on the table.

"Ha ha ha ha, there were several things, I think I got a little excited," the young man laughed.

He had never seen so much pantry in one place, he usually always saved, so he had to take advantage now that he had things in abundance.

"Let's eat," the young man invited the woman to sit down to eat.

"Me?, it wouldn't be appropriate," the woman refused.

"Why not?, I wouldn't like to eat alone, besides, we both prepared it, it's only fair that we both enjoy it too," the young man insisted.

Timidly, the woman sat down, and soon they both began to eat and enjoy the treats, the young man was a very pleasant person.

...****************...

"Well, this will be the game, each one says what they know about the other, and the winner will get a prize," said the young man.

After eating, they both went to the living room to take a break.

He had to know what he was up against, since it didn't seem to be a dream, since he hadn't woken up.

"Let's start with our names," the young man spoke.

"Okay, your name is Mikkel Hyde", the woman said first with a smile.

The young man nodded, it was his same name, but not the last name.

"My turn, your name is... is", the young man murmured.

"Romy, my name is Romy, ha ha ha, I think I'm going to be the winner," laughed the woman named Romy.

"Now it's my turn, you are twenty-four years old, you are a recessive omega, you worked in a small shop owned by your family, you have been married for a year, your husband's name is Damen Kamprad a dominant Alpha, you don't have a good relationship and you are about to get divorced," Romy continued speaking.

Upon hearing the name, the young man ran upstairs to the room, searching and searching until he found a credit card that was well kept on top of a large shelf.

He didn't know how, or if this was a dream from having read that book so much, but now he was inside of it.

Romy followed him for fear that something had happened, she saw Mikkel standing there looking at something in his hands.

"Let's go shopping," Mikkel said, turning to look at Romy with a big smile as he held up the credit card.

Episode 3

It was already dusk when they arrived at a large shopping mall. They both got out of the taxi, appreciating the large building.

"Is it okay that we do this?" asked Mrs. Romy.

In the entire year she had been working caring for Mikkel, the young man did not go out frequently. He only walked in the garden and went for walks in the park near the house.

And there was a reason for that.

"Of course it's okay. It's good to get out, besides, I need a lot of things," said Mikkel with a smile.

There weren't many outfits in the closet. This didn't used to matter to him before because he didn't have enough money to spend; he lived simply.

He always dreamed of one day buying a lot of clothes without having to worry about expenses, and now it was possible. Whether it was a dream or something else, he would take advantage of this opportunity.

As it was a large building, they went up to the top floor by elevator to start from there.

Mikkel entered the nearest clothing store and began picking up several outfits that he liked.

"Wait, young man, you have to check your size," said the store clerk kindly.

"I think I got too excited," Mikkel smiled.

"Don't worry, I thought a celebrity had entered. If you'll allow me to say so, you're a handsome man," added the clerk.

"Thank you, it's nice to receive a compliment from a beautiful lady," Mikkel thanked her.

With the help of the clerk, Mikkel bought several outfits according to his style and taste. Soon several shopping bags were filled and the same thing happened in the other stores.

"Mrs. Romy, you can choose something you like," Mikkel said.

"No, no, it wouldn't be right," Mrs. Romy refused.

"We said that the winner would get a prize, so don't worry," Mikkel refuted.

The store they were in was a store with various items for ladies.

A beautiful wallet caught Mrs. Romy's attention, but it looked too expensive to buy.

Mikkel noticed that Mrs. Romy was looking at that wallet, so he went to take it to give to her.

"Come on, take it, it's also a thank you for taking care of me for a year," smiled Mikkel.

Embarrassed, Mrs. Romy took the wallet, thanking him several times.

When they went to pay, the clerk had an unpleasant attitude with them. She wasn't rude, but she had a look of contempt.

The same thing happened with the people who were also in the store, they looked with contempt and mockery at Mikkel.

"It's him."

"How shameless, how can he smile like that?"

"He's an opportunist, look at him spending money that's not his."

"He's no match for Andrew, this one's a classless omega."

"Separating two people who love each other just for money, he's certainly a horrible person."

"I feel so sorry for Andrew."

They began to murmur.

It was because of these looks of contempt and murmurs that the young man did not leave the house.

Mikkel knew the reason. According to the book, Alpha Damen Kamprad had a person he loved and that person loved him too, a reciprocal feeling.

They had known each other for many years, a relationship that was known to everyone, since the man the alpha was in love with was a rising omega model.

Andrew Collins, a popular omega model who had several fans and was loved by the public for his good character and kindness, that omega was his husband's lover.

A beautiful love story that was interrupted by the omega Mikkel who forced the alpha Damen to marry him, and who earned public repudiation for having committed that crime.

People continued to whisper behind their backs as Mikkel and Mrs. Romy finished paying for the wallet.

"Young Mikkel, it would be better to leave this, it is not necessary," said Mrs. Romy, putting aside the wallet.

She didn't want to be the culprit for the rumors to continue by buying the wallet, after all, she was only an employee and Mikkel's mental health was more important.

"No problem, don't pay attention to them if it bothered you, they're just words," Mikkel said calmly.

He finished paying and took the wallet with him.

Mikkel walked normally past those people and out of the store with Mrs. Romy.

In just a few minutes, photographs of Mikkel in the store were spreading rapidly across the networks.

...****************...

At the same time, inside a luxury store, the young omega named Andrew was picking out various expensive items.

The news and photographs of Mikkel shopping quickly reached his knowledge through his cell phone.

"Ha, and he said he wasn't interested in money," he said with a mocking smile.

The employees quickly approached, holding various items for Andrew to choose from.

Andrew was always well received wherever he went, because everyone knew that the omega was the person that Mr. Kamprad loved, and they had to treat him well if they didn't want to have problems with the alpha.
