Ulises stopped himself from completing the phrase.

Let's hurry up, we don't wanna get back too late.
He ordered his horse to pick up the pace.
Jochem took a brief moment before following his friend and Prince.
He had a bad feeling about what he was going to say.

Sitting on an old wooden chair in the backyard of a humble house was a young girl.
Her fair skin, her light brown hair and the delicate features of her face bathed in the silver light of the moon.
She had fallen asleep while waiting for someone. The book she was reading rested on her lap with both of her hands on the cover.
On the ground next to her there was a lamp that had run out of oil.
Ulises entered the yard silently after he realized Dalila was in a deep slumber.
He took a moment to admire her. She must had fallen asleep while waiting for him.
Then he grabbed the lamp carefully and while avoiding making the smallest of sounds he casted a spell to light it again.
A faint warm light illuminated her face and she woke up, opening her eyes slowly.
She said with a soft voice.

Ulises left the lamp on the ground and sat beside it on the grass.

Sorry I couldn't come earlier. Things are... Complicated.

She started to talk with excitement. For a girl like her, from a small village in the Northern Lands, seeing an elf was something out of the ordinary.

He had let her talk without interrupting her because he loved when she talked about something with her full excitement.
He got lost in the movement of her slender lips, in the beautiful gray of her eyes, the sweet melody of her voice. And so his gaze was fixated on her face.
He stood up, the moment had come, he didn't need time to think about it.
