Chapter One: ORIGIN

Something horrible happened fourteen years ago, it happened to my family.The Fritz family massacred every member of my family in cold blood.

FOURTEEN YEARS BACK

*Thanksgiving*

All the members of my family had come together in unity to celebrate thanksgiving at my  house, I played with her little brother and cousins while the elders chatted, it was a happy day for my entire family until the doorbell rang, my little brother ran for the door, he opened it and the next sound got everyone on their knees whimpering, a gunshot.

*My brother went to open the door, the gun shot…was he…shot?*

A dozen men entered our house, all armed kicking my uncles and aunts. I looked to the door and saw my brother’s body covered in blood and his eyes open, he wasn’t moving

*no, don’t die on me, hang in there, you can’t die*

An entire family entered our house, they had the same face, same devilish smile adults and children alike. There was no soul in that family. They took their sits on our chairs and started drinking our wine. The bad man looked around face to face looking for a particular person, my father. He first saw my mother and attended to her by standing on her

“how do you feel that weight of my power? The entire Kajiyashiki family should feel me”

“(cough) the only thing I feel is the weight of your fat filled gut!”

*kicks*

“you don’t dare talk to me like that!”

He looked to the other side and saw me, he left my mother and came for me

“leave my daughter alone!”

My mother tried to protect me but one of the armed men hit her head with a gun, she fell and went unconscious. He squatted infront of me and smiled at me. I was shivering in fear and pain when he grapped my neck and started choking me, he lifted me up by my neck

“I have your daughter in my hands, you definitely don’t want me to kill her so come on out let’s talk bisuness.”

The man was choking me for about a minute before my father showed up

“leave her alone! You don’t have to involve anyone else in this matter”

I turned and saw my father, my vision was already blur and my head spinning due to lack of blood flow to my head, I wanted to yell but where was the voice to yell i wanted to bite the man’s hand but how could my fragile teeth reach there? He threw me to the door where I met my brother’s body, white, cold almost stiff and his blue eyes had turned grey. I closed his eyes and held him but then another gun was shot, my father was shot.

The family walked out leaving the armed men inside. They shot everyone last member of my family except me hiding behind the cover of my brother’s body. After they left, I ran to my father

“(shift) papa, papa”

“(struggling with breath) Raven where’s your school bag?”

I went upstairs and grabbed my bag and ran down

“Papa, it’s here”

“Those papers I gave you yesterday, are they still in your bag?”

Fire started flaming into our house, the bastards set our house on fire to ensure that not a single one of us survived to expose their dirty deed

“is that…fire? Raven, take your bag and run, get out of his place, this town, run as fast as your legs can carry you. You are the last member of this family with hope to live, run!” 

I wanted to ask what was going on, I wanted to know why that family came to our house and did that evil to us, if we owed them or took something away from them that we didn’t or couldn’t give back but also had to save myself for every member of my family, my mother woke up in the smoke and I ran to her

“mama! mama!”

“smoke? Is our house buring? (coughs) everyone? Raven if you can move run away, go through the kitchen door and leave!”

“Mama! I don’t want to leave you here, you’re still alive!”

My mother held my hand and looked into my eyes with tears in our eyes

“I don’t want you to end like this, I can’t move, I’m paralyzed and even without this fire I think I’ll die, my head is heavy. Please, Raven leave this place and run”

I stood up and looked every member of my family lying dead or helpless waiting for the fire to consume them, I looked at my brother, the fire had already consumed him and was spreading. I bent down and made my mother a promise

“I promise you mother, I will end that family, not a single one of them will survive in the future”

The words that came out of my mouth weren’t that of a twelve years old lady, they were filled with hate and anger and revenge. I managed to run out through the kitchen door, all of the maids and my nanny had been killed as well. I carried my backpack and ran, ran and ran and ran, I hust kept running with tears in my eyes, I didn’t know where I was running to, I didn’t have a single family left to run to, I didn’t know if there was still someone out there whom I could trust my life too but I didn’t want to take that risk. For two days I was on the road until I got to this place, dirty, hungry and tired, homeless, orphaned and friendless. For the first week I fed on left over I found in trashes, I didn’t even care what it tasted like or if I forgot to take out the “pure proteins” from the disgusting meal. I spent my time protecting the documents in my bag without knowing what they were for. One day, I ran into a boy gang, they were five of them in an alley were they lived, at first they wanted bully me but one of them saw through my dirt

“Wait, aren’t you the girl from that perfume advert?”

“what perfume advert?”

“Don’t lie to me, xxx perfume”

“yes, it’s me”

They boys showed a sign of shock because they knew I was from a prominent family to the neighbouring town and they wanted to know why and how I ended up like that. They thought I seemed nice and took me in, taught me the street, the good, the bad and the ugly and now after all thoses years, I’m finally ready to go back home and break some necks.

Chapter two:

*Raven's home town*

A train stops at the train station, passengers come down and the last is a lady, bossy looking lady dressed in a black slim gown and sun shades. Raven comes out and looks around, she smiles at the environment and then grins

*those monsters don’t deserve to breath this free air, they deserve to beg for mercy at my feet…*

A man bumps into her,

*oups*

“Sorry Miss my bad.”

“(Smiles) no need to apologise”

The man continuous on his way, Raven looks at him again for a second

*that man, he looks familiar I think I’ve seen him some where*

It’s now that it comes to her, she takes out her phone and scrolls through some pictures, carefully checking each of them and there

*Gotcha, he’s one of the sons of that tyrant, there’s no way he wasn’t there that night*

Raven decides to follow him, she follows him into an arcade where she carefully spies on him. At some point she gets tired at decides to go talk to him herself after all it will just be a coincidence that they’ve met at the train station then the arcade. She goes to the toy machine and stands beside him pretending to look at the toys and gain interest in one of them. The man looks at her for a while

*She?*

“hi, I think I’ve seen you somewhere”

She raises her head and pretence to be shocked

*gasps*

“Oh yeah, you’re the guy who bumped into me at the train station, what a silly coincidence” *in your dreams*

“Yeah, quite silly, what else are you doing here apart from admiring toys? ”

“Nothing really, just moved in and I’m yet to find a place to stay. I’m a fan of toys but my bag was to full and I was too lazy so I didn’t pack any of my toys. I just thought I could come get a new one.” *(proud)nobody knows how to formulate a lie faster and better than me*

“well that makes sense, I wanna get a toy for my neice, she really bugged me for one on my way here. (thoughful) You said you haven’t got a a place to stay here and it’s almost late, I would dislike that a sweet lady like you spends a night in an alley”

Raven feels insulted about the way the young man makes an alley look, not that an alley is a responsible place to be in, it’s because it’s the place that actually gave her life and hope and because she doesn’t want the man to piss her off, she walks away

“not to worry, I won’t sleep in an alley, I have places to be.”

She rushes out and takes a taxi to the nearest hotel, long after she’s gone, the young man remembers that he didn’t ask her name which she would not have given anyways.

*CccXxx Hotel*

Raven lodges into the hotel and settles in, she falls on the bed facing the ceiling just like she used to with her brother and they’d start a pillow fight. Those memories come to her and for a second she smiles. Before leaving the Arcade, she stole the young man’s Card from his pocket without his notice. She takes it out and studies the information on it which are; his name, Tel number, Address, Company name and Company address. Apart from being technical bandit, she had also acquainted herself with some hackers and learned some hacking and piracy skills but unlike others, she learned fast and better and has an almost untraceable hacking skill. After seeing the Company’s name, she intends to hack into the company’s account and fetch herself some money.

“This man, Blake Fritz, though he’s only a second son, he might just be my bate. His company anyways is Gonna be my bank account from now henceforth.”

She takes out her computer and starts researching on the company. She also plans on tracking blake so she can spy on him and find a way to get close to him and start activating her plans.

*Next Moring*

Raven spent most her time last night learning about Blake's company that she slept late so she wakes up really exhausted

*yawn*

“Another day, I can’t believe what I saw, even worse I can’t believe that family pays no homage to the dead! (breathe) now’s not the time for me to get all fired up, I have places to be.”

She leaves the hotel later in the day to go visit a certain place,

“my home”

She goes there expecting to see it in ruins but to her surprise, the is a huge mansion standing in that place, a company. For a second she thinks she’s at the wrong place but some things never change, the chapel opposite her house where they used to worship stands exactly there and there’s no doubt that is where her house which was burnt was standing. She decided to verify, she goes to the gate and knocks, a gate keeper open the gate

“how may I help you miss”

“Hi, I’m new here, I’m a university student and I’m researching on this town. I was told the house of a wealthy man Mr. Kajiyashiki but his entire family in it burned. This is the location I was given but, I don’t see anything of such.”

“The person who sent you just wants to fail you, this is where the house burned, but the Fritz built a company here after clearing off the ruins”

“What?! (Calms down) okay thank you”

Raven is in complete shock, not only did they kill her entire family and build a company on the land they killed them for without the land documents, they also dared to build a house on her family’s head

“(clenches fist) These people have done worse than I thought, they have disrespected my parents and my family. Father, the documents you gave me to run away with won’t be necessary, I don’t even know why you didn’t give them anyways! All I know there must be something special about that place.”

She turns back and looks at the company completely disgusted, she feels like bulldozing the company but just like she felt fourteen years ago, it isn’t yet time,

“There’ll be no need going to court with land documents to claim the land when all we have around here are corrupt judges, dogs who follow the scent of money like following Christ. If the Fritz Family wants dirty then they’ve got it coming ‘cause I have a lot of dirty to spare and a promise to keep.”

Raven goes back to the hotel, she meets Blake at the reception but she quickly hides before he can see her.   

Raven is shocked at why Blake is here at the hotel

*Guess the bastard found out that I stole his little wallet but how did he find me anyways? I won’t let you get me but I might get suspected if anyone spots me hiding here like some creep (sigh) what a bummer.*

She gathers up and approaches the counter to announce her return and pretends not to recognise Blake

*Please keep you memory to yourself Fritz, I’m not here for any trouble yet so please mind it*

As inevitable as it is, Blake recognises her beauty, scent, height and everything. He doesn’t hold back trying to be sure she is the one

“Hey miss, you look familiar.”

*darn you bastard*

“Really, you don’t look familiar to me. You must mistake me for someone else”

Blake sets up his certainty that she is the one he saw

“In this case miss, coincidence is only a word because I believe you are the one I met yesterday at the train station and the arcade.”

Too late for her to pretend anymore, Raven decides to fess up because what could possibly go wrong while she’s dealing with a Fritz?

*Completely fake smile*

“Oh I remember now. The guy who almost threw me down at the train station and bullied me about being homeless and hoping to spend the night in an alley right?”

*have fun being guilty you Fritz.*

Blake hadn’t expected before that Raven would take the matter so much to heart that she only remember it that way but he takes it as his fault

“My apologies lady, I didn’t mean things that way… I didn’t catch your name”

*if I didn’t know better I’d actually think fondly of you Blake. Girls here will really be making me puke if they find you attractive*

“Anyways, I have no interest in bugging you so, I have to get going…”

“Not so fast now Miss, I haven’t heard your name yet.”

As much as Raven has no interest in sharing her name with Blake she also doesn’t want to keep the conversation going

*You!*

“My name isn’t the best, I’m sure you don’t want to hear it.”

“You are a lady, no matter what your name is it won’t change your beauty so just let me hear it.”

*This devil bastard has a lot words in his mouth and I don’t want to them hear them anymore ugh! Also I can’t let him know I’m a Kajiyashiki else I’m definitely doomed…another lie won’t cut off my tongue after all there is more to come*

“I’m Raven…Yahashi?”

Blake looks at Raven confused for a minute and then burst out laughing uncontrollably as if he was sprayed with laughing gas but Raven rather gets annoyed but also uses it as opportunity to leave. Blake realises he has been misunderstood and tries to chase Raven but the hotel attendant holds him back to finish his entry process. Raven hurries to her room, slams the door behind her and gets on her bed. She recalls the scene she previously saw boiling in anger, buildings on her family’s head, no respect for her dead at all

*ring ring* a call comes in

“Brothers, sorry I haven’t contacted you since”

~You silly girl were worried sick~

~How are doing over there?~

“I’m coping with it I mean it’s not like I have a choice or something but…”

~But what, is anyone trying to bully you?~

~Do we need to bring the force~

~If anyone tries anything we’ll take the battle to them~

~All you shut up and let the girl talk will you?~

“When I got here I ran into a Fritz at the bus station. I knew he was a Fritz because he looked familiar and then I checked my list and he was there. I followed him into an arcade where he made fun of me and bullied me of intentions to sleep in an alley what a crazy fool he has no idea what fun it is to live in an alley.”

~Did that Fritz recognise you?~

“Of course not. I was able to steal his card and checked into his company. Also I went to see the ruins of my home and you won’t believe that those monsters build a company over their bodies; they’re making money off their blood! *sob sob* I can’t believe it. I don’t even need those documents anyways our government is fully corrupt they’ll do nothing for me!”

~Darling little sister stop crying it’s okay~

~I wish I am there to comfort you now but you have to be strong. Remember that…~

“~After the stormiest rains there comes the brightest rainbows~”

*chuckles*

“You all really know how to cheer me up. By the way I met that fritz just now at the reception. He asked my name so many times I had to make it, I said Raven Yahashi and he laughed at me.”

~If that idiot is lodging into the some hotel as you then he must be interested in my beautiful sister, he might just be…~

“if you’re about to ask me to fake dating him it won’t work get it. What If I end up falling for his lies, and mess up?”

~That can’t happen we all trust you~

“No, there’s got to be another way to get his attention and I’m not willing to take that kind of risk. I’ll talk y’all later okay? I plan to hack into his company’s account alter I believe the routes couldn’t be so blocked with that small coding abilities of theirs.”

~Okay, be careful okay?~

~BYE!!!!!~

The new plan is to hack into Blake’s company using some little hacking techniques she learned and get some money from his company’s account or all the money from his company’s account. She also needs to get close to him to get closer to the Fritz family while having her identity still unknown in order for her plan to work. For now it’s one step at a time till all the steps have gotten her somewhere.
