Park Miyoung had always been first place. No one could defeat her, No one would dare to challenge her because they knew they would ultimately fail in the end.

Everyone, that is, expect for the one and only Jeon Jungkook.

"I heard no one could beat you." the brown-haired boy lowly said, smiling at the girl who had her arms crossed and eyebrows raised.

"you heard correct." she responds.

He licked his lips and smirked at her,

"I bet i can change that."

"you're on, Jeon Jungkook!" She said as she smirks.

They fought head to head to see who was the truly the best of the best. They started at the line. getting ready to run to the finish line a mile away.

She was ahead of him until he passed he, she watches him shockingly.

"How the hell he is so fast?!" She thought in mind.

Jungkook had easily beaten her, leaving Miyoung defeated and glowing triumphantly.

"You're not as good as you really think you are...Miss second place." he chuckles, stuffing his hands into his pockets and smooths walking away and leaving behind a shocked and furious Miyoung.

Her hands clenched into fists, her face turned red and her insides bubbling up to get ready to explode. "Don't call me that! I will beat you next time, Jeon Jungkook, I swear! just wait and watch!" she furiously said.

This is just a prologue that's why its short, I'll update time to time it's my very first novel i am an army and blink my bias is Jungkook well my bias is ot7 but still haha so I thought to make an ff on my bias.

This fan fiction is inspired by the anime "special a." I've changed it around a bit to make it my style and how i would like to write it, but the main plot is inspired by special a.

In special a. kei and hikari (two main leads) have been rivals since their childhood. hikari used to be in first she could beat up the bad guys and get good grades. but that was before kei challenged her. after that, she's been second place to him ever since.

Special a. is basically a separate building for the top seven students in the school. it's a special program for them (even tho they don't learn anything in the anime) only the top seven can enter. if someone beats one of the special a students, they can be in special a, but the previous member is now kicked out and in regular school.

^^ For this fanfiction, i will NOT be using

that. instead of special a program, they are all going to be in regular classes like the rest of the school. they do have the recognition as first. second place etc.^^

I will NOT use the episodes as the reference. for instance, in one episodes the special a crew get to go hawaii and do some stuff (you will have to watch the episode to see), i won't be doing that. since special a. is an anime, there are some stuff that normally would not happen in real life. I'm going to make this story as real-life as i can.

I also DO NOT own the any of the idols that portray the characters in this book. you can also change who you see as the main lead, i just clc's yeeun as her.

...I love the anime, i suggest you all to watch it too i am sure you all will love it, it's one of my favorite anime, and if you all want i can suggest some anime movies for all of you to watch<3...

Miyoung pov

"Miyoung!" i turned my head around to see my best friend nayoung running up to me with open arms. she tackled me in a hug as i laughed and hugged her back. "Nayoung!"

"Can you believe we are already seniors? it feels like just yesterday we were tint freshmen walking in here." Nayoung exclaimed. wrapping her arms around my shoulders as we walked towards our lockers.

I nodded. "i know right, i can't wait to get out of here."

And get away from one person to particular.

"Next stop....college!!" she said happily as we reached our lockers. I beamed at her and opened my locker to get my books out.

"What class do you have first?" Nayoung asked. peering over to get a better look at my schedule.

"uhh... Anatomy. what about you.?" Grabbing my anatomy textbook and closing the locker. she squeals me and hugs me which i get that she's also in anatomy.

We started walking to anatomy room, talking about our summer vacation and what we had done. we entered the classroom and as soon as we stepped in we froze in our tracks.

my face began to heat up as my eyes widened. I looked over at Nayoung, who was smiling smugly at me.

"Kim taehyung is in our homeroom!" she lowly whispered. nudging my side and winking at me. I rolled my eyes and shooked my head and averted my gaze.

Kim taehyung. I've had a crush on that ethereal guy for who knows how long. he is actually perfect. you could tell that God spent a lot more work making this man.

I mentally squealed as i sat closer to the front, Nayoung setting her books beside me while still teasing me about taehyung. "Shut up, would you?" i hissed at her.

It wasn't that i never talked to taehyung, as a matter of a fact us were pretty good friends. we have been paired up multiple time for projects and get along well. but every single damn time. I'm near him he makes me throw myself off a cliff. in a good way.

wait, is there even a good reason to throw yourself off a cliff?

I was snapped out of my thoughts as i head Nayoung mutter "oh no" beside me. I snapped my head at her "what's wr-"

Just as i was asking her if she was alright, the devil incarnate himself strolled in through the door. my hand immediately clenched into fists as if it were instinct. I bite my lips and glared at the boy who smugly smiled at Taehyung and glided over to him.

"Jeon Jungkook" we both muttered under our breaths, watching him do a handshake with Taehyung.

Remember when i said Taehyung was perfect. He IS perfect. expect for the fact that he's best friend with my biggest rival, Jeon Jungkook.

Stupid Jungkook, out of all the homerooms, why did he have to come to this one?

Stupid administration, why did they have to put him in MY homeroom out of all homerooms?

Stupid Taehyung, why do you have to be best friend with the devil?

Did i already say stupid Jungkook?

Jungkook has been my rival for long as i can remember. he always beat me in everything, studies, sports, even taking the last ice cream bar at the ice cream place. he seemed to beat me in every single thing i did. and the worst part was that he would never let me live it down.

I used to be first. that was until he decided to it would be a good idea to knock me off my high chair.

I've been second place ever since.

I shudder thinking about that, second place, that's the worst thing.

"Well,well miss second place is in my homeroom!" I shut my eyes and inhaled a deep breath.

Stupid Jungkook.

"Jungkook!" i growl, opening my eyes to see him standing in front me with his hand in his pockets. and a smuge smile on his face.

Oh how i wish i could wipe that stupid smile off his face.

Stupid.

"Don't call me that!" i said angrily, glaring at him.

"call you what? Miss second place?"

I stand up from my chair get ready to knock him out when Nayoung grabs my arm and pulls me down.

"Miyoung!" She warns. she looks up at Jungkook. "Could you, like, not bother us today? it's first day of senior year, let us enjoy it, damn it," she exasperates, tighting her grip on my arm.

Jungkook scoffs "so i can bother you tomorrow?" He turns to me and fakes a smile. "Bother miss second place on the second day of school?"

I release nayoung's grip and lunge towards Jungkook.

I grabbed the collar of his shirt and pulled him close to me "I see what you did there you used the number 2 twice, right? haha no wonder, you're in first, i swear, Jungkook, this year you will be knocked off that stupid high horse of yours.

Jungkook chuckles, his breaths fanning my face ever so lightly "you sure about that? you have been saying that for past 8 years and i still see no sign of you getting near that first place"

I push him back watch him stumble backwards onto the desk. "you'll see."

I sit back down and growns covering my face into my hands as Nayoung pats my back "There, There"

Stupid Jungkook.
