The basic essence of the story is...life is not only the flowers you see but the spears that also make you bleed. There are people out there, breathing just to make you feel worse and dejected.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!!!!
I shout at the top of my lungs while making my way through the stairs.
Everyone looked in the direction of the voice and found me cheerfully walking down, a bit hastily too.

Caroline speaks with a smile and hugs me as I enter the dining area.
I suddenly flinch as someone hugs me from behind, but the voice makes me calm.

My second brother pulls Noah from the neck and hugs me. Noah pouts and gives brother a look but brother sneers at his face, making him more angry.

This question revolves in my mind every single time I see this idiot.
I link my arms with Noah and pull him to the table. Elder brother and Caroline were already on the table and smiling at us.

Finding me in this situation, the other members laugh while covering their mouths, trying to suppress yet laugh at the same time.
Caroline gives them an eye and everyone straightens up.
The atmosphere was calm again as everyone were filling their empty stomachs.
Everyone including me look at big brother as he never calls me by my name, I, sometimes don't even remember my name.

I ask excitedly after breakfast while Caroline picks up the dirty dishes and second brother helps her.
Elder brother looks at Caroline.
Being brother's assistant, she has to reach earlier than him. Although, they work together, they behave as if they don't know who snorts louder.
But, being strictly professional has always come in handy. No one has ever spoken against them. Everyone has believed that Caroline's promotion is based on her performance and not her connections. She is a very hardworking woman. She inspires me.
Before elder brother could complete his sentence, Noah jumps on me, grabbing me tightly around the shoulders.

Noah actions forwarding his hand towards the gate while giving his wonderful smile.
How can anyone refuse him?
I look at others and they nod.
We all start to leave for our destinations.
Brothers always wait for at least 15 minutes so as to reach later than Caroline.
In the mean time, they hugged me giving the warmth I needed for my first day and Noah drove off.
Noah dropped me exactly at 9 a.m.
I hurry towards the supervisor's office.
At 5 p.m. everybody starts to leave, except for the interns.
My phone vibrates. It was second brother.

Elder brother shouts for me to hear him through the phone. I laugh lightly. I could already imagine second brother sulking and elder brother thinking, is he really my brother, or he was exchanged, while nodding his head.
I terminate the call and start to read the reports.
I do have a whole week's time, but I have over 50 reports, I need to at least complete 5 of them today. Hah!!! You can do it, I motivate myself and immerse myself in those research papers.
I yawn and stretch myself.

Finally, it's done.

Damn!! It's already 8.
I exit the building. The guard was on his way to ask me to leave.
I text my second brother to pick me up.
I hear a cat, more like a crying one.
I turn around to hear more clearly.
It's in the dark alley near the convenience store.
I cross the road walking towards the alley. It was silent, everyone has gotten off work. This area is particularly filled with laboratories, companies and university's departments.
I turn on the phone's torch, as I take my first step into that dark alley.
Found it. I think its leg is broken. I move towards the cat.
I pat its head and back assuring it that I won't hurt it.
Who?
I feel touched by your care.
I look around. A masked man was leaning on the wall few feet deep in the alley.
I feel nervous. I grab the little cat and stand up to run.
The very next moment, I am caged between the wall and him, how??
And the cat ran away, it was not injured??
I look into his emerald colored eyes and chills run down my spine.
Brother, please come fast!!!! I pray in my mind.
