Backstory
The Fujiwara Clan is known for being vessels for cursed spirits, just like Yuji Itadori is to Sukuna. Naomi Fujiwara, who would succeed her father as head of the clan, was endowed with a special ability. After a period of nonexistence spanning several centuries, she was given the capacity to act as a shield, a Jujutsu Sorcerer who is able to cancel out, absorb, and amplify the effects of cursed energy. This enable her to become the new host of Inari's curse.
Inari is a legendary cursed spirit, or to be put in a more simple matter, she was the head of the Kitsunes. A cursed legendary fox. Inari ate the other thirteen kitsunes, which turned her into a cursed spirit because those she ate also cursed her.
The cursed kitsune swore an oath of unbreakable loyalty to the Fujiwara family and assisted them in getting rid of the legendary Sukuna during the Heian period. During that time period, it resided inside Akemi Fujiwara, the head of the clan who coincidentally was also a shield. Following Akemi's passing, Inari also passed away, but before she did, she sealed her power away in a fox figurine and promised that when the time is right, the power will recognize who its new owner is.
Until 1992, Inari's power remained locked inside the fox figurine for over a thousand years. As soon as newborn baby Naomi Fujiwara was born the curse immediately recognized her as their host.
The members of the Fujiwara Clan are infamous for their use of the cursed technique known as Curse Summoning. It entails calling forth a cursed spirit with which they had a contract, making use of its power, and opening the door for the spirit to take control of their body.
Naomi, on the other hand, can call on the thirteen kitsunes (fox). In Japanese folklore, they are foxes with supernatural powers that get stronger as they get older and more experienced. Since Inari devoured all thirteen of them, Naomi can call upon the thirteen kitsunes namely:
Tengoku (Heaven, Celestial, Light, Prime)
•Kuro (Void or Dark)
•Kaze (Wind)
•Seishin (Spirit)
•Kasai (Fire)
•Chikyu (Earth)
•Kawa (River)
•Umi (Ocean, Sea)

•Ongaku (Music, Sound)
She could use the thirteen kitsunes' powers and her body as a vessel for them, as she was chosen by Inari's power and thus had access to all of their abilities.
Prologue
Satoru
You're reading again?
I stopped reading the book that I was holding and looked up, expecting to see the bright starry sky but met his wonderful blue eyes instead.
He was standing behind me, looking down at the book that I was reading.
Naomi
Yeah, just to kill time. It's kinda boring here.
I stated casually and closed the book, placing it on my lap.
Naomi
So, how was your date?
He made a face which made me laugh. I kinda know what he's going to say but I just stayed silent and waited for what he was about to say.
Satoru
Please, it's not even a date. My mother forced me to show up there.
He said in annoyance as he massaged the bridge of his nose.
Naomi
I can see the frustration very well in your face.
I chuckled as I hugged my knees.
Naomi
Well, maybe she's not the star that is meant for you.
I added in which I got a confused look from him as his response.
Naomi
The book that I've read right now considers people as stars.
I pointed out the book on my side.
Satoru
Oh? Mind explaining it to me?
I giggled and pulled him down so he could sit in which he obliged to do. I then pointed out the breathtaking night sky and told him
Naomi
Tell me about the stars you see in the sky.
Satoru
Excuse me? I thought you were going to tell me? Why am I the one who-
I elbowed him and rolled my eyes.
Satoru
Alright, fine. They have different sizes and colors, that's kinda due to their compositions and age.
I slapped his arm, getting excited because he got it right the first time.
He said in pain but I just giggled at him and stood up.
Naomi
Just like stars, we people are different in sizes and colors. We have different characteristics and ages. The universe is such one big sea of stars and the earth is a big sea of people. We, just like the stars, live in one certain place, co-existing with each other, each have different roles to fill. Each has different fates, different stories to tell.
Naomi
Eh? Satoru? Did you understand what I'm saying?
I snapped him back to reality when I noticed that he was just staring at me for a long time after I explained to him why stars are just like people.
Satoru
Ah, yes! Now I understand it!
He said and scratched the back of his neck, looking away.
Naomi
Geez, you'd be so dumb if you won't understand it.
Satoru
No, no. I completely understood it, I just thought of something.
He said still looking away from me.
I just pouted and walked towards the sea where the beautiful reflection of the moon is shown. The wisterias on the side added to the beautiful view of the place.
Satoru
In a sea of people, my eyes will always be searching for you.
I turned around, seeing Satoru just a few feet away from me, his hands inside his pocket, eyes looking straight to me.
Satoru
That's the last line of that book.
He casually said and walked towards me.
Naomi
Eh? You've already read that one?
Somehow, I expected that he said that to me. Deep inside me, I kinda want him to see me too, not as his best friend, but as a lady.
I glanced at him, he's now busy looking at the moon, complimenting how beautiful it is.
Naomi
'The most beautiful thing is not the moon, it's your eyes.'
I wish I had the courage to tell him how I feel about him.
Naomi
'In a sea of stars, my eyes will always be searching for you.'
I whispered to myself as I admired him from the corner of my eyes.
On this night, I realized that the sky, the sun, the moon, and the stars were nothing compared to his eyes. It was mesmerizing, so mysterious. Gojo Satoru, you're a breathtaking view.

As the song ended, the door of my room opened and it revealed Mama holding a tray of cookies with a wide smile on her lips.
Masako Fujiwara
Naomi, Naoki, come now. It's snack time.
My brother quickly ran to the table with the book still on his hand while I struggled from going down the high chair that I've been sitting on.
Nii-chan laughed at the sight of my feet struggling to reach the floor before helping me.
Naoki Fujiwara
Mama, mama! I've heard someone will come here today. Will there be kids too?
Nii-chan asked, full of energy while I got so busy stuffing my mouth with the star shaped cookies that Mama baked for us.
Masako Fujiwara
Yes, they have a kid around your age, Naoki. I think both of you will get along.
I didn't really listen to their conversation. All I have in my mind is how delicious the cookies are and I have to eat a lot before my brother eats them all for himself.
His words echoed all throughout the receiving area of our house. Our parents were so surprised by the sight of him holding my hand while his free hand was pointing at me.
Satoru
I've been talking to her for quite a while now, and she didn't respond. She just keeps on playing the star puzzles.
He added in a frustrated way. All the people there laughed, including the elders.
Masako Fujiwara
Oh, so you've met Naomi already.
My mom walked towards us and pinched both of our cheeks.
Masako Fujiwara
Satoru, this is my daughter. She's Naomi. She doesn't speak much, but I can guarantee you, she's not mute.
Mom giggled and pinched my cheeks again.
Satoru
So your name is Naomi!
Satoru
I am Satoru Gojo, as you can see I have cool eyes!
I didn't really know what exactly happened. The last thing I remembered was that I was just playing the toys that I have in the play room and suddenly a pair of blue eyes appeared out of nowhere, staring at me from the doorway.
He kept talking to me, but I don't really want to have a conversation with him because the puzzles are important. I needed to finish the star puzzles, but then he held my hand and dragged me out to the living room, asking around the elders and our parents.
I continued staring at his eyes as it reminded me of something. It was beautiful. But his hair is weird, he has white hair, like old people. Is he a grandpa?
Satoru
I am six years old! How about you?
He struck a conversation again. I just pointed at the block that has a number four on it, telling him my age.
Satoru
Oh, you're four! What's your favourite c-
He stopped talking suddenly and looked past me with a very confused look, as if he saw something that's so out of place.
Satoru
Mama! A cursed spirit is here! It's a fox!
The elders came running to him and kinda separated us for a moment. They talked to him for a while and when he got back, he was all smiles again like nothing happened.
Is he scared of me? Or my friends? He can see them.
But the other kids at school don't see my fox friends at all. They tend to laugh at me and call me a liar.
Just as when he was about to speak to me again, Naoki came running inside the living room. He actually went out with Papa for a while and now that he's back, he went straight to the other kid and talked with him.
I was about to go back to the playroom when a woman like Mama suddenly approached me and pinched my cheeks. I think he's the other kid's Mama.
"Naomi-chan, you're so pretty. And your friends too." She said and looked past me.
Mama was behind her, smiling so wide, looking at us. The two of them accompanied me inside the playroom and actually helped me with my puzzles while talking to each other about some things that I can't even understand.
"The boys must've gotten along well." The other Mama said chuckling when we heard Naoki and Satoru's voice talking so loud on the other side of the playroom.
Masako Fujiwara
Yeah, Naoki really loves to mingle with other people. He's kinda like his father, he even told me he wants to be a politician when he grows up.
Masako Fujiwara
Naomi-chan here is the opposite of him. She rarely speaks and is focused on either puzzles or books.
Mama added as she helped me put a piece of the puzzle.
"I can totally see that, but it's a good thing the two of them get along so well. I can see that Naoki really cares for he-"
Satoru
Mama! Mama! Look! He has cool techniques too!
The two of them entered the room with so much enthusiasm. Nii-chan was showing the other kid his magic powers. The doll with a talisman on its head is now moving on its own and is following them.
Naoki Fujiwara
Naomi loves it when I do this.
Nii-chan then stated and glanced at me with a smile.
Masako Fujiwara
Uh-uh, Naoki. We've talked about this. You can't use your technique in front of people.
To my surprise, the other kid is now in front of me, staring again with a wide smile on his face.
Satoru
Naoki said you have cool techniques too. It's the foxes, right!?
I don't know what's gotten into me to speak to him. Even he looked surprised by what I said.
He cried so suddenly that his Mama rushed to him in an instant, asking him what happened.
Satoru
She finally spoke to me!
Naomi
Rigel. It's a blue-white supergiant star that is in the constellation of Orion.
Satoru
Ohhh! So that's why! I thought you were calling out someone else's name.
He sighed in relief as he placed his foot on the armrest of the sofa casually.
I gave him a death glare, seeing how he's positioned on the sofa. Like a commercial model, endorsing the seat.
He chuckled while sitting formally
Satoru
So, it was my eyes that made you speak your first words to me. Ahh, I get it. Everybody loves my eyes.
I rolled my eyes at him and shifted my eyes to the book that I've been reading.
Naomi
Get over it. It's like seven years ago. You cried like an idiot back then.
Satoru
Geez, so not cool, Naomi. You're so stiff. It's been ages since we last saw each other, can you please show me more emotions other than being pissed at me!
He whined like a kid as he reached for the pack of candies that I got from the snacks area for him.
Naomi
We saw each other like two weeks ago.
I corrected him, still reading the book that he got me.
Satoru
That's still a long period of time! Don't you miss your most handsome bestfriend?
The look on his face is so priceless. He looks so defeated as he tried to hype me up by his presence.
Satoru
Geez, where's Naoki? I'm gonna tell him that you're bullying me!
I placed the book down on the center table and raised a brow at him.
Naomi
My brother won't definitely believe you.
He mimicked the way I said that sentence which made me grab the nearest pillow and threw it at him but too bad, it didn't even hit him because of his cursed technique.
Satoru
Oh, by the way, are you enjoying the book that I got? Man, that was the last copy! Good thing I got it before the lady behind me, she looked like she was about to kill me that moment.
He then started telling what happened to his life for the past two weeks that passed.
Naomi
Well, at least you didn't involve yourself in a fight again. Geez, you guys really love breaking your heads or something.
I sighed after hearing his story about him almost getting involved in a fight again.
Satoru
I only fight cursed spirits, Naomi. I only beat up bad guys cause that's what the main leads do.
But true to what he said, he's really not the type of guy to involve himself in physical fights, unless of course, it involves the bad guys.
Satoru
Oh, come to think of it. How's your training? I've heard that they are planning on taking you overseas.
He then changed the topic. I got silent for a moment, thinking what should I reply
Naomi
I'm actually doing good. I still prefer playing the support role though, I don't really like beating up creatures. I also find it not so draining if I use only the support techniques, not the attack ones.
He nodded while listening.
Satoru
I can actually see your improvements. Kuro can now stay outside for almost an hour.
My jaw dropped and looked behind me, only to see Kuro in the garden, admiring the flowers.
Satoru
Eh? You didn't let him out?
I quickly shook my head and quickly ran outside
The black haired guy, with nine fox tails behind him turned around with a wide smile as he showed me the flower that he picked on the side.
"Look, Lady Naomi! I heard this one is called allium!" Kuro said with glee, waving the flower to me.
Naomi
How the hell did you get out with your normal form!?
I asked, almost screaming.
He just chuckled and sat down the newly trimmed grass, "Uh, I can because you now know how to maintain your cursed energy out?"
Satoru
What a great improvement.
Satoru commented on the side as he watched Kuro who's now admiring the flowers again.
Satoru
But, is he always like that?
He pointed at Kuro who's always admiring things like it's his first time seeing it.
Satoru
For someone so full of darkness, he's very bright.
Naomi
Yeah. He's been locked up for a long time and before even turning into a cursed spirit, I heard that Kuro was a slave who's usually locked up inside a basement. I think it's his way of coping up.
After a little chat about Kuro, Satoru offered to take me out on a park nearby where we usually play when we were a bit younger.
He took me out to eat ice cream there, then strolled around for a bit until the sun is off, revealing the beautiful night sky.
Satoru
It's getting late, I bet Naoki's home now. Should we head home?
Satoru stated as he glanced at his wristwatch before reaching for my hand, holding it.
Naomi
Yeah, I think he's home now. I still don't get why he likes to attend clan meetings with Papa.
I scoffed. Naoki went with Papa today for a clan meeting with the Kamo Family that's why he's not around.
Satoru
He's gonna be a good politician.
Satoru murmured while fixing his sunglasses with his other free hand.
I stated in a toneless manner which Satoru agreed.
Naomi
I've heard so much of how the higher-ups treat some people as well as their twisted principles. Seeing them in person made me almost puke the guts out of me. I hate them for treating my family as some containers of cursed spirits, using us then discarding us when we're not fit for the role.
Satoru
They are just a bunch of shitheads, believing that they are superiors. I could smash the hell out of them.
He agreed and we both laughed about it.
We started walking back to our home, when Satoru suddenly stopped and looked around.
Naomi
A street interview again?
I whined like a kid when a cursed spirit suddenly appeared a few meters away from us.
Satoru chuckled and gently let go of my hand. He then stepped forward a few feet away from me.
Satoru
Gomen, gomen. Can you please back down?
I just turned around and sat on the nearby rock.
Naomi
Make it quick. Seishin no Kitsune: Soul Link.
A thin white thread then appeared out of my pinky finger then connected it to Satoru's pinky finger.
He looked at me so confused.
Naomi
Yeah. I'll be giving you my cursed energy. But finish it and don't die or I'll die too!
I grinned as I showed him my pinky finger.
Satoru's lips formed a wide smile.
Satoru
Wow. We could commit a double suicide like Romeo and Juliet!
I rolled my eyes at him and laughed.
Naomi
What are we? Star crossed lovers? Come on face the spirit in front!
