In a land far away known as the Fantasy Kingdom, there was a kingdom ruled by a young and kind princess named Lizzie. Her gentle but firm governance ensured order and justice throughout her kingdom, which made her well-loved by the people. One day, a mysterious stranger named Emma arrived at the castle gates seeking refuge and a new home. Initially, Princess Lizzie had reservations about Emma's arrival, but she welcomed her with open arms.
As time passed, Emma started feeling more comfortable in the castle. However, Princess Lizzie could not shake off the feeling that something was not right about her. She tried to ignore her unease, but it only grew stronger with each passing day. One day, Lizzie's close friend Maisy noticed how uneasy she was and asked her if everything was okay.
Lizzie confided in Maisy, "Maisy, I do not know if it was a good idea to bring Emma in. Something just feels off about her." Maisy tried to comfort Lizzie and assure her that the people of the kingdom would not let her down, but Lizzie's unease about Emma persisted.
As fate would have it, Emma overheard their conversation and felt betrayed and heartbroken. She had believed that Lizzie trusted and believed in her, but now it seemed that she did not. As she retreated to her room, Emma's emotions started to get the better of her. Looking at Lizzie, she felt a burning sense of envy and resentment growing inside her. Everyone always loved Lizzie and treated her with kindness, but Emma felt like no one had ever done the same for her. At that moment, she decided to make Lizzie pay for not trusting her. She called out for help, and Lizzie rushed to her side.
"Lizzie is trying to hurt me!" Emma yelled, making Lizzie feel utterly betrayed. As the situation escalated, a guard arrived, and Emma explained to him how Lizzie was trying to harm her. She even produced fabricated evidence to back up her claims. Lizzie was terrified and tried to explain her innocence, but the guard was convinced by Emma's lies. Lizzie was stripped of her identity as a princess and sentenced to death. The people of the kingdom were shocked and felt betrayed by their once-beloved ruler. In the end, Lizzie managed to escape, but her future was uncertain. She could only try to stay under the radar and clear her name.
Days went by, and Lizzie found a place to stay. It was an abandoned castle that was once owned by her parents. She stayed there for some time, feeling lost and alone. Meanwhile, Emma was crowned Princess and reveled in her newfound power. However, her joy was short-lived when a knock on the door interrupted her thoughts. It was Mister Davis, an old friend of Lizzie's, asking for help. However, Emma didn't want anything to do with him and told him to leave in a harsh tone. Mister Davis walked for some time until he came to the place where he looked.
"Lizzie dear, there you are. Is everything alright?" he asked with concern.
"No, I don't know how this happened. Did I do something wrong?" Lizzie replied, her voice shaking with emotion.
"You didn't do anything wrong," Mister Davis reassured her. "Wait, Mister Davis, are you alright?" Lizzie asked with her face full of concern.
"Everything is alright. I'm sorry if I'm bothering you," Mister Davis replied.
"You're not bothering me, Mister Davis. Why that question?" Lizzie said with surprise.
"Yeah, just forget about it," Mister Davis replied.
"Wait, why are you here?" Lizzie asked.
"Well, let me tell you. I believe you are innocent, and I am only here to help," Mister Davis replied.
"You believe me and want to help?" Lizzie said in surprise, her eyes filling with hope.
"Who would let a friend stay in this abandoned place? It is not safe to live here for a person," Mister Davis said with concern.
"It's just the place where my parents live, and it feels like a safe place," Lizzie replied.
As Lizzie got to stay with Mister Davis, time went by, and they found solace in each other's company. However, their peace was short-lived as a message came from the speakers offering a huge reward to anyone who found the traitor, and Lizzie had not yet been found. Lizzie burst into tears.
"Calm down, Lizzie. We can do this. Trust me," Mister Davis said, trying to make the mood better.
"I think I better go now," Lizzie said still in tears.
"Don't leave," Mister Davis begged.
"But they may kill you for protecting me," Lizzie said in tears.
"If that is what I get for protecting the kindest person I know, then so be it," Mister Davis replied.
"Thank you so much for everything, Mister Davis," Lizzie said with joy.
"No problem, dear," Mister Davis replied.
With this, a new adventure for the two started. Will Lizzie be able to stay hidden? What will Emma do to find her?
To be continued...
Lizzie's heart was racing as she nervously scanned the dimly lit room. Her eyes darted frantically as she searched for any sign of Mister Davis. Her mind was filled with dark thoughts of what could have happened to him. Was he hurt or worse, kidnapped? The deafening silence only added to her fear, and she called out his name, her voice trembling with fear.
Finally, she heard his voice, and relief washed over her like a wave. Mister Davis appeared, his face etched with regret, but quickly turned to one of concern when he saw how shaken Lizzie was. "Are you okay, dear? I'm sorry I left you alone for so long," he said soothingly. Lizzie managed a weak smile, trying to hide the fear that still lingered in her heart.
But just as they were about to calm down, there was a loud knock at the door. They both jumped in fright as a guard's voice demanded they open the door, warning them of dire consequences if they didn't comply. Lizzie's heart skipped a beat, and she felt like she was about to lose consciousness.
Thinking quickly, Mister Davis instructed Lizzie to hide while he answered the door. As he opened it, the guard greeted him with sarcasm and demanded to know if he had seen Lizzie. Mister Davis tried to remain calm and composed, pretending not to know anything about her whereabouts. However, the guard was not fooled, and his tone grew increasingly menacing. "Do not play games with me, Mister Davis," he growled. "We know she's here somewhere. Where is she?"
Mister Davis was speechless, and fear took hold of him as the guard apprehended him and dragged him out of the building. As they departed, another guard entered, and Lizzie's heart skipped a beat. It was Jake, who whispered urgently, "Liz, where are you? I promise I won't hurt you."
But Lizzie was too frightened to trust him. "Right, why would I do that," she replied weakly. "Well, then you give me another option," Jake said with a sigh. Just as Lizzie was about to reply, she suddenly blacked out. Jake's last words echoed in her mind: "I'm sorry, Lizzie. I just needed this money."
When Lizzie regained consciousness, she found herself in a dimly lit room with Emma, who had seized the necklace from Lizzie. "Give that back!" Lizzie yelled, but as Emma put the necklace on, something strange occurred. Emma screamed in terror as her eyes widened. Lizzie didn't know what happened but was too scared to move. "You did something to the necklace, you brat. You thought that if you put a spell on it, you would become a princess once again," Emma yelled. "Wow, what are you talking about Emma? I didn't do anything," Lizzie replied. "Well, you know more than I do," Emma said. "I promise I don't." But before she could say more, "Arrest her," Emma yelled. "Okay, princess," the guard replied.
There she found Mister Davis in a state of visible distress. "Mister Davis, are you alright? What did they do to you?" Lizzie yelled in tears. He didn't answer; his eyes were wide with worry, and his face was creased with concern. "Mister Davis, don't worry. It's not your fault. Believe we can do this. Trust me," Lizzie said, trying to change the mood. "Oh Lizzie, what do I need without you," he said, grateful for her presence.
But before Lizzie could respond, she suddenly collapsed, her body crumpling to the ground. Mister Davis called out in alarm, "Liz, wake up, please!" The sudden turn of events caught the attention of a nearby guard who rushed over to see what was happening. "Wait Mister Davis, something's wrong," the guard said, concern evident in his voice. "It's Lizzie, she needs a doctor. Please, we need to help her!"
Mister Davis nodded, his anxiety mounting as he watched helplessly while the guard called for medical assistance. It felt like an eternity before the medical team arrived, but when they did, they quickly assessed Lizzie's condition and started treating her. Some moments later, Lizzie regained consciousness, groaning in pain as she held her head. Mister Davis let out a sigh of relief, his eyes filling with tears of joy. "Lizzie, you're alright, Sweety," he said, his voice filled with gratitude and relief.
As they were catching their breath and recovering from the ordeal, the guard approached them with a serious look on his face. "Mister Davis, can we talk, please?" he asked, breaking the moment of relief. "Something's wrong." "Why are you here? I mean, you're a friendly old man who doesn't deserve this," he continued, his voice full of concern. "Sir, I got arrested for helping Lizzie," he revealed, his voice shaking with emotion. "Wait, they did what? Tell me, which guard arrested you?" the guard asked, his voice now filled with rage. "So talking to the old hag now." another guard asked. "So it was you who arrested Mister Davis." "Well, it sure was me. Why do you want to know that, Benjamin?" "You're fired." "Wait, you can't do that, Benjamin," the other guard yelled. "Well, I can," Benjamin replied. "Thank you so much for helping us, dear." Mister Davis said. "No problem it's my to help you guys." Benjamin replied. "Benjamin do you believe them." Lizzie asked in tears. "No silly I don't I know someone so special as you would never do that." Benjamin replied blushing. Lizzie gave him a kiss on his cheek. "But wait I can see you both suffering here I would help to get you two out." Benjamin said. "Wait you sure." Mister Davis asked. "I do." Benjamin replied. "Alright, that'ss the plan." Mister Davis said. What is the plan? Will it succeed? Read the next part to find out.
To be continued....
In a dimly lit room, Benjamin and Lizzie were trying to stay unnoticed when suddenly a noise disrupted their attempt at staying hidden. Lizzie whispered fearfully, "What was that?" Benjamin whispered back, "I don't know, but it doesn't sound good," as he scanned the room for any signs of danger. Lizzie confessed, "I'm scared," while trembling with anxiety. Benjamin assured her, "Don't worry, I'm here for you," as he wrapped his arms around her protectively. Lizzie whispered, "Thank you," barely audible. Benjamin whispered urgently, "But we need to get out of here as fast as we can."
Suddenly, a voice shouted with panic, "He found us! He's here! Hide if your life is dear to you." The sound of approaching footsteps grew louder and more frantic, instilling a sense of terror in everyone in the room. Mister Davis noticed their distress and asked Lizzie if everything was alright. She took a deep breath, attempting to steady herself before responding, "This can't be happening right now."
Mister Davis spoke softly, "What's going on? Can you tell us what's happening, please?" Lizzie hesitated for a moment before starting to speak. However, before she could finish, someone yelled, "He's coming this way! Hide if you want to live!"
Feeling frustrated, Lizzie let out a sigh and pleaded, "Please, can we all just be quiet and let me finish my story?" "Of course, dear." Mister Davis replied, nodding in agreement and gazing at her with empathy.
Lizzie continued her story but as she finished, she froze, her eyes fixed on something behind Benjamin. "Lizzie, what's wrong?" Benjamin asked his gaze following hers. "He's behind you." She said in fear. Benjamin asked, "Who are you talking about?" "She is talking about me," a deep and menacing voice boomed from behind Benjamin. "Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Jackson."
Mister Davis narrowed his eyes with suspicion and asked Jackson, "Are you the reason why everyone here is going insane?" "Wait, Liz, are you okay?" Jackson asked, his concern evident in his voice. She looked at him before collapsing, unconscious, to the ground.
As she woke up again, she found herself in the hospital. "Ah, my head." "Liz, you're alright." "Who are you again?" "Oh, it's me, Jackson." "Where are the rest of my friends?" "The rest, they are..." "Please tell me, Jackson." "Alright then but note this will not be easy to handle for you." "Alright, no need to worry. I can handle it." "As you fainted, Benjamin got you on his shoulder and we started to run. We were halfway when something or someone blocked the way. It was Emma. The look on her face meant something bad was going to happen. Benjamin asked me to take you to the first hospital I could find. He could handle it. After that, I haven't seen him." "So you have no idea how they are now." "No, but Benjamin asked me to give you this." Lizzie got the note. "Oh, this was his plan to escape alright." As her heart was pounding with fear she looked at Jackson. "Where is Mister Davis," she whispered to Jackson, barely above a whisper. She looked around to see if there were any signs of him. "I'm sorry Lizzie he didn't make it," Jackson said with a sad voice. Lizzie's eyes widened in shock as she struggled to progress the news. Her mind raced as she tried to make sense of it all. How could the man who had just saved her life be gone so suddenly?
What do you mean?" she asked, her voice trembling with disbelief and grief. Jackson took a deep breath before answering, "He sacrificed himself so I could get you out of there safely." Lizzie was struck speechless for a few moments before asking, "So he... he's gone?" Her voice sounded fragile and small. Jackson nodded, his eyes filled with sorrow. He knew how difficult it was for Lizzie to hear this news, but he knew he had to tell her the truth.
"But he wanted me to give you this," Jackson continued, holding out an exquisite necklace. The pendant was made of shimmering gold and sparkled in the light. Lizzie's eyes widened as she took it from him. It was so beautiful, yet it felt heavy in her hand. She couldn't believe that this piece of jewelry was the last thing she would ever receive from Mister Davis. A tear slid down her cheek as she looked up at Jackson, her eyes full of gratitude and sadness.
As she fastened the necklace around her neck, she felt the weight of it resting against her chest. It was more than just a piece of jewelry; it was a symbol of Mister Davis's bravery and selflessness. She couldn't help but feel grateful and heartbroken at the same time. When she looked back at Jackson, she noticed something was off. He seemed different somehow like he was carrying a heavy burden. "Are you okay, Jackson?" she asked, concern etched on her face. "I can't bear to see you like this. It hurts me inside; this is so wrong." "Lizzie, you better," Benjamin said.
Lizzie's eyes widened in surprise and hope as she realized Benjamin was still alive. "Benjamin, you're alive!" she exclaimed. "I would never leave you like this, but I wasn't alone," he replied. "My father helped me escape. I made it out, but he didn't." "I am so sorry for you," Lizzie replied. "Don't worry it's alright." "My friends I want to make an announcement." "What is it tell us pls," Benjamin asked. "I am leaving you to see what I can do to get the peace back. But untell then I wish you a good time." "I will miss you, but goodbye for now," Lizzie said. With that, he left them alone. "So what are we going to do now," she asked. "I guess wait until you get better," he replied. Will she get better? What will happen to them?
