There's a girl named Ayame 10 years old, Ayame is an orphan. Growing up in life is hard, she needs to stand up on her own two feet because she has no one until a family wants to adopt her and it's the Sato family, in her mind and heart it was filled with excitement because she dreamt about having a family that can love her eternally.

The caregiver eventually called her to meet her new family, "this is your new family" said the caretaker, she smiled like there was no tomorrow, "I'm Asami Sato, your new mother and this will be your dad Naomi Sato", said by the mother, "h-hi my name is Ayame" she said, "I'm sorry, Ayame is a little bit shy whenever she's meeting a new people, I hope you'll take good care for her" said by the caretaker, "don't worry we will" said by the mother and smiled.

after that, they filled out the contract and signed it, the room was filled with joy as Ayame thought it was, after a couple of minutes they took Ayame and said her farewell to her friends in the orphanage, in a long drive, they eventually arrive at her new home, "welcome to your new home" said by the mother, in her eyes, it feels like a dream they have a big chandelier and a massive hallway with a lot of rooms, but while looking she saw someone hugged her mother, "this is the girl that you're talking about mom?" asked by the girl, "yes she is, meet Akana and this is Ayame, I adopted her from the shelter" her mother said, and Ayame tried to introduce her self bur end up shuttering, and her sister spoke "why are you shattering? and mom didn't you tell me that you'll get a new maid? you didn't say that you'll adopt a disgusting child in an orphanage", "m-maid?" Ayame asks and looks into her mother's eyes looking at her in disgust, she finally realizes that she wasn't there to be their daughter she was there to be their play toy.

A couple of days pass she became their maid, she does everything from cleaning the toilet to feeding the dogs, while the other maids bully her because she still carries the Sato's family last name, yet she was only adopted because they want her to be a maid, "don't I deserve to be loved and to be happy?" she said to herself and other maids hear here and said "she's talking to her self once again what a crazy child, I bet they'll sell her for some rich man to gain more profit", "don't listen to them Ayame" said by the head maid, the head maid is the only person who treats her right from the day she was brought to the mansion, Ayame starts to cry in fear and she said "what if they will make a profit out of me? how could a person be that cruel" she starts to sobs even more, "don't worry I'll be here no one can sell you until I'm alive", "but miss your just a maid to them also, isn't your work will be effected you'll get involved?" Ayame said "They can't touch me, because I'm not just their maid, I'm also the head maid in the main house," said the head maid.

After 11 years, the old head maid died from cancer, "no one can protect you now" Akana whispered.

–sits near at the lake

"Why? Why did you leave me? Why everyone that is important to me is leaving me— this is a question that I can't even answer, what did I do to deserve this kind of life, I'm so done with everything I... I'm ready to take a leap on the Edge..." Ayame said, looking down on the water. "And yet I don't have any courage to jump, why am I scared... I want to be gone there's no use for me to be alive, if I'm gone they'll be happy HAHAHA... what am I doing... is this really my faith? Why did they adopt me? I keep asking questions, yet there are no answers... what am I fighting for? " Said by Ayame —couple of minutes later it started to rain Ayame decided that she needs to go home or else her family will do something worse

–going to the bus stop.

"Good now I'm soaking wet and the next bus stop will be at 7pm, this is the worse day ever, well technically it's not except the day they adopt me- who am I even speaking to? I'm being crazy, ha... might as well call a Uber" Ayame said —calling a cab.

–after an hour, a black car stops.

"Oh that might be my Uber, what takes him so long"–knocks at the mirror of the car — rolls the window "uhm… Hi? Can I do something for you? " Said by the driver "Are you my Uber driver? Please open the door already I'm soaking wet, and I'm freezing to death" Ayame said "Oh, I'm sorry Ma'am, but I'm not your Uber driver, I just stop because we wanted to ask for directions" said by the driver "sigh– I'm freezing already and my Uber driver is nowhere to be found, what are you going to ask anyway? " Ayame ask, "It's The driftwood villa" the driver said "Oh, I actually live in that villa as well–"—Ayame Gives them the right coordinates "Thank you, so much Ma'am" said by the driver and drives away—

"Go back" said by a man in a tuxedo "Why sir?" Said by the driver "Are you that stupid? Stop questioning me and Go back, or I'll fire you" –Said by the man "I'm sorry sir "

—Goes back, Ayames pov.

"Why is that guy going back? are they lost again? don't that guy knows how to use waze, he is stupid" said by ayame *puts up a fake smile because shes annoyed* —the black car stops and roll down the window "Hi again sir, what can i do for you?"said by Ayame "My boss told me that you can hop in since your going to same place anyways, and also a thank you for helping us"said by the driver "Oh that would be wonderful –pov: finally something good that happen today" —Open the back door of the car "MA'AM DON'T GO THERE! My sir doesn't like peopl–" said by the driver but his words were cut off "Its alright, Shut up already, just go in" said by the man in tuxedo, –Ayame's pov: hays let me take a sit already im freezing.

–Ayame hops in and the driver droves away. Couple of minutes in the bus stop.

"Huh? Where is the person that I will pick up?" said by the Uber driver.
