" What do you think about him?, I think he is interested in you too".He pointed out to a man who was continuously checking his friend out.
"I am here to chill not to find someone for a one nightstand ".He said in annoyed manner.
"Come on, you should let yourself loose". Antonio smirked.
Getting annoyed by Antonio's persistence, " Do you even know what kind of problem i am in now?".
"Does it matter?. I mean look my friend Edoardo you have to live your life okay, It is going to become meaningless if you go around worrying so much ". He said.
"It seems you have lived enough, you don't even know anything , and you are saying all this nonsense. If something happens even I won't be able to save you ". He replied.
"Oh really!". He said with a mischievous face.
Edoardo was sitting with his best friend Antonio, they were best friends since childhood, Antonio is also an omega but not a dominant one.Edoardo came to his friend's bar to tell him about this news that he is getting married next week which he knew nothing about. It came as a surprise to him as he just heard this news this morning from his parents.
"You know what Antonio, I am getting married next week". Edoardo said while looking at his cocktail.
"Hold on". Antonio got surprised, "What do you mean? Married, who? Why? How did that happen?and when?". He was dumbfounded by Edoardo's words.
"Let me get a breather". He took a deep breath and again asked." What are you saying bro?".
"Our parents decided it when i was born". Edoardo said while looking down at the bar table.
"So who is that man whom you are getting married to". Antonio asked.
"I don't know, I never met him, wedding will be the first time I would lay my eyes on him". He replied with a sigh.
"What are you even saying? You mean you never saw him and don't know anything about him and still you will get married to him, Why ?". He asked as it as it was more surprising to him.
" I don't have a choice to begin with, and his family is rich and all and it was a promise between families".
Cutting him off in between" Come on bro it's not like we are living in 19th century that you are having an arranged marriage, do you really think It's just."
Edoardo looked at him and started thinking as he can't say anything against it, It was his last choice as it was his grandfather who made that promise and it was also his last wish. He sighed deeply.
Antonio looked at Edoardo while he was making drinks, he puts down the glass and asked, "Do you know anything about him? Like his name or anything else".
" Yeah I heard his family name Romano something". He replied thinking deeply about it.
"Wait a minute, WHO". Antonio was so surprised after hearing that name like a current run down his spine." The ROMANO family, you mean to say you are getting married to the sole heir of the mafia family ".
"I think so". He got confused and looked at Antonio and asked,"Is it a bad thing I mean ".
" You don't know he is the most eligible bachelor right now but other than that no one has heard anything about him, no one knows where is he and how he looks, everything about him is closed off". Antonio explained.
"I don't know what to do I will have to get married to him, it's better that way, now I know why my parents always kept me away from every alpha and never let me date, It was for this day. If I knew I would have done everything". He said and tilted his head backwards on the chair.
" You can do it now, everything it's never too late, look that man over there has been checking you out since you came here". Antonio said.
"Whatever I will do now will affect my family ". He said with saddened face. "I don't want them to worry about me, they are already going through a lot ".
"So are you going to live your life on these terms". Antonio asked.
"Maybe ". He replied gulping down his cocktail.
The man who was looking at Edoardo from the beginning came near him and asked him, " Can I buy you a drink".A husky voice came .
Edoardo looked in that direction, he was a tall, tanned muscular man with piercing blue eyes, his presence was demanding attention .
Edoardo hesitated, his mind awash with conflicting emotions. In that moment, he found himself at a crossroads, torn between the expectations of his family and the tantalizing prospect of forging his own path.

Edoardo's heart raced as he stood there, caught between fascination and fear. He had never encountered anyone quite like this mysterious man who stood before him, emanating an aura of danger and allure. His voice, deep and husky, sent shivers down Edoardo's spine, while his intense gaze seemed to pierce through his very soul.
Lost in the captivating presence of the stranger, Edoardo felt himself drawn closer, his curiosity overshadowing the warnings echoing in the back of his mind. For a moment, he entertained the reckless idea of ignoring his parents' warning and surrendering to the enchantment of this enigmatic figure.
But then, as if awakening from a trance, Edoardo felt a wave of unease wash over him. The air around them seemed to thicken with an intoxicating scent, and he realized with a start that it was emanating from the man before him. Pheromones, invisible yet potent, filled the space between them, weaving a seductive spell that threatened to ensnare his senses.
It was then that Edoardo noticed the lustful gleam in the stranger's eyes, a predatory hunger lurking beneath the surface. Panic surged within him as he grasped the gravity of the situation. This encounter was spiraling out of control, veering dangerously into territory he was ill-prepared to navigate.
Desperately seeking an escape, Edoardo turned to his friend Antonio, silently pleading for intervention. Antonio, his expression hardened with concern, met his gaze with unwavering resolve. In that moment, Edoardo felt a surge of gratitude for his steadfast friend, whose presence offered a lifeline in the midst of uncertainty.
With a stern tone that brooked no argument, Antonio addressed the stranger, his words a clear rebuke against the intrusion of his unwelcome advances. "I know you admire my friend," he began, his voice firm yet measured, "but your actions are making him uncomfortable. I must ask you to restrain yourself."
The stranger's smirk faltered slightly at Antonio's reprimand, though the glint of mischief remained in his eyes. "My apologies," he conceded, though his tone held a hint of amusement, as if he found the situation more entertaining than concerning. "I didn't realize I was being so... forward."
Despite the apology, Edoardo couldn't shake the feeling of unease that lingered within him. The stranger's gaze continued to roam over him, assessing and appraising, as if he were nothing more than prey to be hunted. The realization sent a chill down his spine, and he couldn't help but feel like a helpless animal cornered by a predator.
As the tension between them thickened, Edoardo found himself yearning for an escape, a way to retreat from the dangerous allure of the stranger's gaze. But with Antonio standing steadfast by his side, offering unwavering support, he knew that he wasn't alone in this precarious situation.
Edoardo found himself in a peculiar situation as he gazed at his reflection in the mirror, contemplating the events that had unfolded. The tension in the air was palpable as he mustered the courage to address the person standing beside him.
"I know you might find amusement in this situation," Edoardo began, his voice steady but tinged with a hint of unease, "but I must confess, I'm not at all impressed. Your actions have made me rather uncomfortable."
The other individual, whose face was now in close proximity to Edoardo's, met his gaze with a steady intensity. "I assure you, it wasn't my intention to cause any discomfort," he responded, his voice soft yet firm. "In fact, I saw it as an opportunity to express my interest in you."
Edoardo's brow furrowed in confusion, his mind struggling to comprehend the implication behind those words. "Are you suggesting... that you're making advances towards me?" he asked, a mixture of surprise and apprehension coloring his tone.
A brief silence hung in the air as Edoardo awaited a response, his heart pounding in his chest. The dimly lit room seemed to amplify the weight of the situation, casting shadows that danced across the walls like specters of uncertainty.
"It appears there has been a misunderstanding, sir," Edoardo finally spoke, his voice steady despite the tumult of emotions swirling within him. "I believe you may have had a bit too much to drink, and perhaps your judgment is clouded."
He glanced around the room, noting the curious glances of other patrons who had undoubtedly caught wind of the exchange. A sense of discomfort settled over him like a suffocating shroud, and he knew he had to diffuse the situation before it escalated any further.
"I must insist that you leave," Edoardo continued, his tone firm and unwavering. "I have to admit that you are causing discomfort to other customers, and I cannot allow your presence to disrupt their evening and my friend's business."
The other individual regarded Edoardo with a mixture of disappointment and resignation, as if coming to terms with the gravity of the situation. "Very well," he conceded, his voice tinged with a hint of remorse. "I apologize for any inconvenience I may have caused."
With that, he turned on his heel and made his way towards the exit, leaving Edoardo to grapple with the aftermath of their encounter. As the door swung shut behind him, Edoardo couldn't help but feel a sense of relief wash over him, knowing that he had stood his ground in the face of adversity.
But even as he resumed his drinks in the bar, the memory of that brief yet unsettling exchange lingered in the recesses of his mind, serving as a sobering reminder of the complexities of human interaction and the importance of setting boundaries.

After that incident Edoardo was in thoughts his footsteps echoed through dimly lit bar as he approached Antonio. He glanced up from polishing the glass, his expression mix of concern and understanding as he saw his friend's troubled demeanor.
He told Antonio that he is now going back home as he was going to sort his thoughts. As he made his way out to the door Antonio from the bar station bid his friend farewell and said," I hope you can sort it out, and remember I will always there for you".
Edoardo looked his way and gave him a reassuring smile and replied," I appreciate it more than you know".
With that Edoardo stepped out in cool night air , the weight of his decisions heavy on his shoulders as he made his way out to his car.
Meanwhile, In dimly lit room in the other side of the city , a different scene was unfolding The air was thick with tension as a man stood before his boss bruised and battered from recent altercation.
" Boss, Is it really necessary".his voice tinged with uncertainty looked at his formidable employer.
" Does it matter". The boss replied his voice cold and detached, a shadowy figure whose presence was demanding attention. He reached out for a cigarette the man next to him obediently lighted it up. He took a long drag of cigarettes while thinking about something.
The room was filled with heavy silence broken only by the sound of man's laboured breathing.
"Boss I took care of it". He said after he beat up the man in front of him."He won't be a problem i made sure of it".
The man spoke, desperation creeping into his voice
"I ...am..so.sorry boss, I won't do it again, please let me go, I will leave this city forever and never return please forgive me this once".
The boss's eyes narrowed, his gaze piercing through the haze of smoke as he regarded the man before him,"And What makes you so sure? You know I don't give second chances".
The beaten man's resolve faltered and the the guy who beaten him met his boss unwavering stare his voice trembled, as he spoke," I swear boss he won't cross us again. Please, give me another chance. I'll do whatever it takes to make things right".
For a long moment his expression remained unchanged
As he considered his options. Finally, with a dismissive wave of his hand he spoke in voice with finality.
"Very well But remember this is your last chance. Fail me again and there will be consequences."
With a silent nod of understanding, the beaten man quickly made his exit, leaving the boss in dimly lit room with his thoughts and smoke of his cigarette for his company.Smoke from his cigarette curled lazily
In the air weaving intricate patterns in the dim light.
As he stood their in his thoughts for a moment silence, reigned supreme broken only by the faint hum of city outside. His mind churned with a mixture of calculation and contemplation weighing the consequences of his decision which will follow him. He knew all too well about the balance of power that governed this world and the importance of maintaining the control at all cost.
Meanwhile, Edoardo found himself lost in his sea of thoughts as he navigated the familiar streets . The event of the evening weighed his mind heavily, casting a shadow over his every thought and action. He couldn't shake the feeling of uncertainty that gripped him the nagging doubt that lingered at the back of his mind.
As he drove his thoughts drifted back to the conversation he had shared with Antonio his friend's words of support echoing in his ears.
