Where are we going? And why does it have to be at midnight?
I say, as I stare out the window.

I sigh, looking back out the window. He's been very anxious lately..I wonder what's going on.
I feel my eyes getting heavy..and soon I doze off Of course I'm a light sleeper, so when we stop I immediately wake up..
I see we've arrived at a big house, I mean big. It could probably pass off as a small mansion...I turn to him, staring.
I sleepy groan, and he sighs, as he gets out of the car. I follow him, as he starts walking towards the house..I follow him, Confused.
There's no use in trying to get answers out of him, he seems reluctant to tell me anything.
He knocks on the door, and I watch him closely.. He seems...nervous?

I must've fallen asleep again, because I wake to loud yelling. I sit up immediately, Hearing My Step-Father
And the man that answered the door arguing..I can't make out what they're saying, it's all too fast.
I start to walk in-When the door busts open, and I fall back. My step father stares at me. He turns back to the Dark man.

My step-father yells, and I stare-Confused.

What's going on?!
I say, and The dark man smirks.

The man says, with a smirk still on his face.

he'll be with you? Until I have the money? Can you promise his safety?
My Step-father says calmly. I breathe heavily,

You're not actually considering this are you?!
I yell, but they both ignore me.

I yell at my Step-Father, but he just sighs..

My Step- father starts to walk away.
Just like that?! He's going to leave me here?! I feel myself starting to cry-but it's overcome with all the anger inside of me.

You bastard! You can't leave me here! How dare you
I yell, But he doesn't even turn around.
