It's Friday hon. It's the weekend. No class. Lemme sleep now.
Annabelle
The heck you talkin bout? Tomorrow's weekend. Now will you get up?!
I jump out of my bed as I hurry up towards the bathroom.

F*ck! What the hell?!
I slip on a banana peel. I haven't cleaned my room yesterday so it was a mess.
I pull my self up and hurry through my morning routine.
Even though it has almost been a year since I've come to study abroad to my dream uni, I still have not gotten used to the weekends.
Back in my country, we used to have Friday and Saturday as weekends but here, we have Saturdays and Sundays as weekends.
A lot of my schedule that I've been following for the past 17 years has changed and I sometimes forget that.

Yeah Hello I'll be there in 10 mins. Save me a seat for the next class.
I say while wearing a baggy pants and hoodie.

Hehe take your time girl. I was just joking. There's still 30 mins before the first period.

This is what happens when you trust your best friend blindly.
I'm not complaining. Maybe I would've been actually late if not for her.
I get ready in a not-crazy pace. Take my backpack, lock my room and get outta the dorm.
I rode my bike to school. There were too many students on the road for my liking and sometimes I wanted to run over them but I refrain from my intrusive thoughts. When I reach the computer science building I park my bike.

We walk inside the building. Anna and I have been friends since the freshman years. We just hit it off pretty good.
We both had algorithms as our first class for today. We got inside our designated classroom and sat on the 2nd bench.

You think this semester will go smoothly?
Risa Kraus
Every semester goes smoothly for you miss first girl.
Annabelle
Oh shut it. I don't care how it goes but you gotta take that 2nd place.

We laugh together. Annabelle is the first girl in our department and I'm the third. She's natural unlike me who barely makes in top 3. I was an average student in high school back in my country.
But someone changed me. Because of that person I still have the motivation to go on. I still believe that I can. But I hurt that someone...with lies.
The class soon filled up with students who looked like they wanted to call it a day already but did not dare. Our Algorithm class soon began and I started to pay all our attention to our professor.
It was 11 in the morning.

What's your next class?

I'm still sad that you took a course completely unrelated to your major :\

There's a special programme on for law. Anyone can join as long as they are a student of this uni. You get extra credit too. So it was a win win situation anyways.
I ride to the Law building and park there. The building was a little small compared to our department but well who cares.
As I was Infront of the lecture hall I saw our beautiful professor. I gotta say she was pretty and young. But I never really thirsted for her. I'm sure half of the students here in this hall are only present to do things to her inside their heads.
Miss Martin greeted to the student in front of me as he blushed furiously.

Her tone with me has been becoming more weird day by day. But regardless I greet back.

She bit her lips and smiled.
I smile back and take a seat at the front. I want her facial routine.

She sternly said and the whole class quieted down. That's some power control over there.
Her lecture was normal like any other day minus the part where she looked at me and smiled time to time. Or maybe that's normal for her.
After the lecture, I waited for the others to leave.

She smiled and looked at her watch.
