After three years of marriage Viron Lee stayed as a good and understanding wife despite the humiliation she received from her husband Axon Ford. He never loved her and even dated countless of woman bringing them home which boiled her blood.

             Viron closed her eyes, trying not to cry. It’s their anniversary and her husband in next door making love with another woman. She lifted the cup, drinking tea to calm her nerves but end up throwing it on the floor. She wanted them to stop yet she can do nothing but to endure it. She’s the one who supposed to be under him, the one who satisfies her husband desires because she’s the wife. Sadly, the man has no shame, she’s just a wife in paper after all.

           The house filled with moan and her room was filled with her sound crying. She’s used to this kind of nights and just like that, she falls asleep with tears in her eyes.

Early in the morning. Viron woke up and prepare breakfast for her husband. Viron arrange every piece of steak neatly in her husband lunch box like she’s not mad at all. It’s been a month since the divorce appeared in her mind. Its true that she loved him more than anyone else but she has her pride too. She just realized that her love and effort can’t change a thing for Axon to love her.

          The two walked down in stairs and Viron look up with smile she greeted him, “Good morning honey, I made steak for breakfast, and save some for your lunch.” Then turn her attention to a woman next to her husband wearing her dress. It pained her so much to see that he let that woman wear her thing's, well, she stopped her self from exploding. Axon both those so she's the just assuming it's her's, “you can join too,” preparing to leave she added. “I have things to do, I’ll go first.”

    Speechless, Axon just observe his wife leaving. if he remember correctly, she never leave like that even he throws all the food she prepared for him, right in her face

“How lucky you are to have such a considerate wife like her Axon.” Sneered, Axon throw all the food out of the table. This is what he hated the most. She’s like a robot, he can’t even make her jealous.

Maxi smiled, she knew he hated her so much. Three years ago, Viron climb into Axon bed and force him to marry her. He despise her. “Don’t waste food sweetheart, there’s some country who’s suffering from hunger,” with that said, Axon just got furious.

         “Can you shut up? We can’t be so sure it’s safe to eat this junk.” Implying that there’s something on the food that Viron prepared.

Meanwhile, Viron meet her lawyer Jason Young. The other day, she told Jason over the phone to draw her divorce paper and now she just need to take it and bring it home for Axon to sign.

              “Look at you Viron, when Axon gave you this, you tore it apart and now, you’re the one giving it to him,”

“I was stupid at that time,” she simply said making Jason sneered.

                              “have you completely changed your mind?” looking at the window, Viron just nod. Jason sigh, “you know, I’m still single…” he stopped and Viron started to have goosebumps all over her body.

“I thought we’re clear about our relationship,” its not a question. “you want me to destroy your business?” that’s a threat. Looking at his eyes, the young man smiled uncomfortably.

                 “I’m just suggesting,” avoiding her intense gaze, he added “your father is still waiting for you to accept this proposal, Axon is never his type.” He explained but just receive a cold and arrogant answer from her.

Chapter#2

Jasmine appeared in front of Ford mansion. It’s been a while since her last visit in this palace. Wearing a slutty dress, she found her way to the leaving room where she found Axon seating on a sofa reading a newsfeed on his computer. He did not notice her, as she thought but before she could say a word to surprise him, Axon spoke “should I remind you the time to go home and cook dinner for me Viron? You changed lately, and now you forgot your duty as my wife…-

“Axon,” a soft voice made Axon lifted his head. ‘that right, I know you still remember my voice Axon, you still love me, I’ll show that bitch her position.’ She lifted he head and their eyes meet. “Axon, I’m back. You don’t need to wait for Viron to come home and cook you dinner.”

With teary eyes she run towards and embrace him. She remembered this smell. This beautiful face that full of luxury and golds from his kingdom but, a king with no brain is nothing but a fool who let his enemy stayed buy his side and steal his throne. Axon have billions and power, Jasmine have nothing and she want what’s his but that b\*tch Viron came and threatened her so she have no choice but to pretend upset and went abroad to heal.

“Jas,” disappointed Jasmine changed her expression from a crying to upset. Axon can’t alter a single word as he was in a complete state of shock.

“you don’t want me anymore?” she put distance between them. she want’s axon to feel guilty before Viron came home. “Axon, I’m sorry for leaving you,”

“No Jas,” he stood up with tears in his eyes. Axon don’t know how to describe his feelings right now. His love is back and he is happy at the same time surprise. “your finally back!” he hugged her tight. With sod she said,

“I missed you so much Axon,” Jasmine hugged him back. With the engine sound stopping at the gate, Jasmine smiled, ‘what a perfect timing,’ she said in her head. “Axon I love you! If only I’m strong enough to face Viron threat I’ll never leave you Axon.” She burst into tears…

“What do you mean?” asked Axon confused.

“Axon, I don’t want to destroy Viron’s image so I kept silent for too long! She, she-

Pretending hesitant. With serious look on his face Axon hold her arms and look directly to her teary eyes. “She what, Jasmine tell me… I’ll do everything to avenge you from that vicious witch!”

“She is no good Axon! She threatened me to post my picture sleeping with old guys to destroy both of our reputation!” surprised, Axon can’t believe what he just heard. It’s not Viron he knew. “Axon, you know I can never do that! I know I have the right to defend my self and prove it wrong but the damage in your reputation can affect the company and destroy you completely …”

“She even harmed me Axon!” crying hard. The make-up she wore washed by her tears. She open the zipper in her back and show him the big scar on her back. “I’m in so much pain at that time Axon, but I don’t want to make you worry… I know you are a busy person and have limited time so I choose to go abroad for you not to know and forget about me..”

The anger builds up inside Axon’s heart imagining the pain she suffered just to make his reputation and company safe. The upset he felt vanished as it was replaced with pity. She knew his powerful and can protect her but she chosen to distance herself for him not to worry.

He lifted his head and saw Viron standing at the doorway. Her face was cold. He never saw this expression in her face after three years of being her husband. Angry, he dashed over her and lay hands on her neck gripping it tightly. Not giving time Viron to react, he take the advantage and snatch the crystal flower vase by his other hand smashing it to the edge of table. With his strength, he easily make Viron face the wall and directly stab the sharp edge of a vase in her back making her grunts in pain as the blade cuts her flesh.

Pain is not new to Viron. She was raised and become strong because of it. She’s not screaming and crying because she was hurt but because she felt betrayed. She did all she can to protect the man she love from every possible danger his in without him knowing all of it. Now, after years of being his wife this is how he repay her…. Pain..

“You b*tch! I’ll kill you!!” he threatened. Jasmine enjoyed the scene in front of her. She did not bother to stop Axon from harming his wife and pretend standing there scared.

Viron, after processing what’s going on smiled in disdain. “you want to kill me because of your b*tch? Humph! Do it then Axon! So when the time the truth came out you will regret it till you die!”

“B*tch you have some guts! Listen, I will never regret killing a unwanted wife like you!” before he could say another words. Viron become unconscious and her face started to paled as she lost so much blood. He with draw his hand and the woman feel on the floor, blood is all over her body. Panic rush over Axon seeing his wife at that state.

“Ju!” the butler rushed over trembling. He saw what had happened earlier and he just watched there froze. “hurry up and bring her to the hospital!” he commanded and the servants doubled their time to save the madam.

Feeling guilty he almost cry-out and then remembering Jasmine being there made him control his emotions. He faced her, “go back first to your place. We will talk about us later.” With that said, he opened the door signaling Jasmine to get out of his house. Angry, she did not show it and pretend considerate and went home.

He signals the remaining maid to clean up the mess and went straight to his room. Taking shower, his tears fell one by one in his cheeks. He do not know why his feeling sad and guilty, while removing the remaining blood stains from his body.

Drinking wine. What happened earlier flash back o his mind. “Axon, how can you hurt like that?” in daze he talked to himself. “right, there’s no need feeling this way. She hurt and threatened the woman you love.

Theres a small knock on the door and without waiting him to answer, butler Lu came in with envelope covered with blood in his hand bringing it to his master. “did I allow you to enter?”

Lu was disappointed to what he did. Viron did nothing wrong but being kind. He witness the love and kindness his madam shown to the master and people inside the house. However, their master never appreciated it. He continue walking towards the angry man seating at the balcony.

“hope you are happy with this,” confuse, he accepted the envelope Lu had given to him. He opened it to see a big-words written on the heading. ‘Divorce agreement’ reading it. The pain in his heart kicked in.

“That woman!” rising from his seat. He grabbed his leather jacket. He snatch his keys but before he can reach the door. It opens and saw one of his maid catching her breath.

“Master, Madam is missing! The man in black took her away!”
