Shielding Her Highness
Legacy of Rajapura (Intro)
In the beautiful kingdom of Rajapura, where the sky was painted with golden hues at sunset and the air carried the sweet fragrance of jasmine, Maharaja Tilak Mahadevan ruled with kindness and wisdom.
~Maharaja Tilak Mahadevan~
His time as ruler was a period of great peace and prosperity, cherished by all who lived in Rajapura.
Maharaja Tilak and Maharani Devi Mahadevan were blessed with four children—three sons and a daughter.
But among their children, there was one whose story was as remarkable as the kingdom itself—Vikram Mahadevan, the adopted son of the royal couple.
Vikram's journey to Rajapura began in tragedy, as his parents, close friends of Maharaja Tilak and Maharani Devi, lost their lives while saving them.
In gratitude for their sacrifice, Maharaja Tilak and Maharani Devi embraced Vikram as their own, welcoming him into their family with open arms.
But Vikram's arrival in Rajapura brought more than just love; it also brought a union of kingdoms. In a rare act of generosity, Maharaja Tilak extended Rajapura's borders to include the realm once ruled by Vikram's parents. Their lands, people, and legacy became part of Rajapura, symbolizing the strong bonds of friendship and unity between kingdoms.
Growing up in the grandeur of the royal palace, Vikram embodied qualities of honor, courage, and compassion instilled in him by Maharaja Tilak and Maharani Devi.
His bond with his siblings strengthened over time, united by blood and love, ready to face any challenge together.
When Maharaja Tilak passed away, his children mourned the loss of their beloved father but found comfort in carrying on his legacy.
Vikram, with the support of his siblings, ascended to the throne as a worthy successor, vowing to uphold his father's vision of a prosperous and harmonious Rajapura.
Under the collective leadership of Maharaja Tilak's children, Rajapura continued to thrive, expanding not only in land but also in the hearts and minds of its people.
The Radiant Dynasty (Intro)
In the grand dynasty of the Mahadevans, Vikram, the eldest son, married Ishani, the princess of the neighbouring kingdom of Indrapuri.
Their union blessed them with a son named Aditya, a shining beacon of strength, intelligence, and courage. Aditya, known throughout the land for his unparalleled prowess, was a figure whom none dared to challenge, for victory was always assured in his capable hands.
Unfortunately, Ishani died a few years later due to illness, leaving Vikram devastated.
Pranav Mahadevan, the second-eldest son, and his wife Indira Deva, had a son named Yuvraj Mahadevan.
Yuvraj considered Aditya his brother, and they shared a close bond. However, Indira harbored resentment towards Vikram and his son, feeling that they received all the attention and favoritism. She often criticized Pranav and Yuvraj, causing tension within the family.
The third son, Veer Mahadevan, married Devika Rao and had a son named Aryan Mahadevan and a Daughter named Aaradhya Mahadevan.
The youngest daughter, Rani Nandini Mahadevan, married King Arjun Ashwat from a neighboring kingdom called Amaratva.
~King Arjun Ashwat~ *Dead*
They had a daughter named Zara Ashwat, who was known for her ethereal beauty and was admired by all.
After King Arjun's death in battle, Rani Nandini returned to Rajapura with her daughter Zara, fulfilling her mother Maharani Devi Mahadevan's wish. The kingdom of Amaratva merged with Rajapura, strengthening their ties.
Zara blossomed into a breathtaking beauty, captivating all who laid eyes upon her. Her grace and allure were the talk of Rajapura, drawing admiration from every corner of the kingdom.
She was often hailed as the "Beauty of Rajapura," a title that reflected the enchantment she cast upon her surroundings.
Yet, amidst the adoration, Aaradhya, Veer's daughter, nursed a seed of jealousy towards Zara. Feeling eclipsed by her cousin's beauty, Aaradhya struggled to find her own place in the spotlight.
The Morning Grace
Zara slowly awakened to the gentle touch of sunlight, opening her eyes to the beauty of the morning.
Zara Ashwat/FL
What a lovely day it is, isn't it?
Janvi (Maid)
Approaching with a soft smile* Indeed, Your Highness. Shall we begin our morning rituals?
Zara nodded serenely as she rose from her slumber, the sun's rays casting a golden glow upon her skin.
Zara Ashwat/FL
Please, prepare the bath with rose petals today. Their fragrance always brings such tranquility.
Janvi (Maid)
*With a twinkle in her eye* Of course, Your Highness. Your wish is my command.
Emerging from her bath, Zara was enveloped in the fragrance of rose petals, her skin aglow with a luminous sheen.
With each step, she exuded grace and elegance, like a goddess descended from the heavens.
Maids assisted her in adorning herself with intricate jewels and garments fit for royalty, the room seeming to shimmer with her radiance.
With a regal air, Zara stepped into the garden, the soft rustle of leaves beneath her feet as she approached the prayer altar. The morning light danced around her like a halo, casting her in an ethereal glow.
Zara Ashwat/FL
Good morning, my feathered friends. Are you hungry today?
In the garden, princes were undergoing their training. When they saw Zara, they couldn't take their eyes off her. Even the guards watched her, their gazes lingering on her form in envy and desire.
Suddenly, Aaradhya Mahadevan, Zara's cousin, arrived in the garden with a group of princesses and maids.
Aaradhya Mahadevan
Well, well, if it isn't Princess Zara. Always the center of attention, aren't you?
Zara Ashwat/FL
Good morning, Aaradhya. How delightful to see you today.
Aaradhya Mahadevan
Oh, spare me your pleasantries. We all know what kind of woman you are, attracting men like bees to honey. Always up to no good, aren't you?
Zara's patience wore thin, but she took a deep breath before responding.
Zara Ashwat/FL
My dear Aaradhya, it seems your imagination has run wild. But I assure you, I am nothing but a princess striving to fulfill her duties with grace and dignity.
Aaradhya Mahadevan
*With a scoff* Oh, please. We've all heard the rumors. You can't hide the truth forever.
Zara Ashwat/FL
I will not dignify such baseless accusations with a response.
Maid
Princess Zara, Maharani Devi Mahadevan was calling you.
Zara Ashwat/FL
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have more important matters to attend to.
Aaradhya Mahadevan
You... *annoyed*
