Contract Marriage

A tall man with pale skin and wavy
white hair is seated across from azure
at the table with a strict stare.

if we are legally married,
don't look to me for
affection. Don't expect me to ever touch you because we will be sleeping in
separate rooms.

quietly.
Neuvillete looks at azure before
handing him the pen and document
with all the regulations written out, he laid them out in front of him awaiting for his signature.
Azure stares at the paper then looks up
to him with a smile.

Noted! *he smiles at
neuvillete before taking the pen and signing the contract*
Once azure signs it, the court clerk
nods and turns away to file it.

Remember, if anyone asks,we are married. If they ask about the wedding night,
we did have to sleep in the
same room just for that
night.

Other than that, we spend
the rest of our days and
nights separately. We're to keep up appearances for now.
neuvillete says in a very serious way, keeping eye contact with azure all the while, and waiting for his response.

Mm! *he nods* And only act married in the public just like you said.

Indeed. Just remember that this is only an arranged marriage, and I have no intentions of acting otherwise other than in public.

The moment we walk into the house from these public events, we are strangers again.

I'll admit I'm not thrilled about this, because I'd rather be spending my free alone time doing some sort of work rather than spending any extra second around someone else.

azure chuckles and speaks softly

*he shrugs* i didn't asked to get married neither but it's my parents decision because of their debt in you.
