As memories began to flash during Hikaru's nightmare, he remembers the death of his friend during a sequence of gunfires.

"Kousuke! Listen to me, you're gonna live okay?? YOU HAVE TO LIVE!!" said Hikaru as he looked around, seeing symbols signifying a dark-colored crow.

"Hikaru.. Thanks for coming over to save me, but it seems like i won't be for much long. I'll entrust my younger sister to you. Take good care of her alright? Don't let her get involved with this hellhole, i don't want her to end up like me." His friend Ryota replied.

"T-take care of yourself as well.." Ryota added as he coughs blood. Hikaru then responds "HANG IN THERE! RYOTA! I'LL CALL AN AMBULANCE AND WE'LL GET YOU OUT OF HERE SAFE." as he reaches his phone from his pocket. But Ryota prevents him from doing so as he shook his head implying that it's no use. Ryota smiled on his last breath knowing that his best friend was there on his final moments. Hikaru, filled with rage, clenched his fist as he breathes heavily. He let out a loud cry consisting of sadness, rage, and bitterness.

Hikaru then wakes up as he find himself crying and screaming on his bed. He paused for a second and gazes at the clock. Hikaru then sat up and held his forehead and sighed. After looking at the clock the second time, Hikaru realized that he's late for his first day as a new teacher in Hyosei Highschool. "Oh sh-, Today's my first day! I can't be late!" Hikaru said with a worrying voice as he starts preparing everything. Hikaru then rushed outside hoping he could make it in time. After minutes of running, he managed to enter the classroom in time. The students stares at Hikaru with surprise, "I never thought it would be the teacher who will be late in the first day of school" a student yelled with a ridiculing voice, resulting to laughter within the classroom.

7 hours has passed, it's finally time for students and staffs to leave the school premises. After Hikaru finishes packing his stuffs, he went outside and decided to take a stroll for awhile. "I have nothing to do so might as well explore the area" said Hikaru as he walks. As he walked pass the community park, he witnessed gangsters toying with two students from his class. Hikaru, out of impulse, calmly stepped on the scene and stopped them from what they're doing.

"It's almost evening, what are you doing here? Won't your parents get worried" said Hikaru to the couple named Hana and Ryusei while ignoring the gangsters surrounding them. "WHO IS THIS PUNK TRYING TO RUIN THE FUN?!" the gangsters yelled.

"W-we're sorry, teacher.. We were just having a great time here but then..—" said Ryusei but was interrupted after one of the gang members stood up and held Hikaru on his back. "Scum, do you really think you'd get away with this?" said the gangster. But Hikaru gave no response. He then pushes the gangster away and led the couple out of the scene where they can run away. "F**KER!!" the gangster aggressively approaches Hikaru attempting to deliver a powerful punch towards his face. The gangster thought he had landed a clean hit on his face, but after taking a closer look, Hikaru grabbed ahold of his fist. "Do some boxing and maybe you'll do better" said Hikaru as he slammed the gangster to the floor using Aikido. "AH! MY BAD!" Hikaru expressed with a worrying tone "Are you alright??" he added.

The gangsters got even more aggravated thus making them attack in all sides. "NO ONE MESSES WITH THE KINKI GANG!!" said one of the approaching gangsters. Hikaru lets out a sigh, "I'm not actually a fan of violence." Hikaru whispers.

"BEHOLD!! THE ART OF EFFECTIVE SELF DEFENSE!" Hikaru then vanished out of sight as he swiftly runs away from the scene. Thus making the gangsters confused and furious at the same time. "I seriously have no time to deal with this" Hikaru said as he pants after running. After resting, he decided to finally go home, "It's already past 7, i should go now." said Hikaru. As he runs to the station as fast as he can to take the train, he saw a group of people wearing black formal outfits across the train window. Catching Hikaru's attention, he also noticed a tattoo in one of the men's neck. Seeing this, Hikaru remembers something from the past.

Hikaru stood in the train in silence, still thinking about the group of men he saw. Hikaru said on his mind,

"It's them."
