AILEE'S POV

       The beeping sound of whatever I am hearing was so uncomfortable, and disturbing. I tried opening my eyes a little but i could only see blurred images..I closed my eyes and opened them, then the blurred images became more clearer.

        I looked around the unfamiliar room and discovered it was a hospital room. "Wait!! How did I get here? What happened to me??" I asked No one in particular.

       Removing the IV drip from my hand, I felt an instant headache as different memories started rushing, making me stagger as I came down from the bed. I felt tears dropping as I remembered what occurred this morning

Flashback

"I'm done ma'am, you can open your eyes" the make-up artist said.

I flicked my eyes open and instantly I felt tears coming, quickly I raised my head for the tears not to fall ruining the artist's work.

"Ma'am are you okay?? Do you not like the make-up?" She asked curiously.

"No.. I love it" I replied

"So why the tears?"

"Was just thinking of my dad... he would have loved to see his daughter getting married to the love of her life" I said sniffing.

"Well, whereever he is....he must be very proud of you. Seeing you very happy must make him very happy" she said sweetly.

"Yes he is" I nodded.

   We were interrupted by the opening of the door revealing Ashley, my stepsister who always taunt me at every little chance.

"Hey...Lee" She said coming in fully

"Woahhh, you look very pretty" she exclaimed obviously not meaning it.

  I rolled my eyes secretly and said to the make-up artist "please give us some privacy". She nodded and left quietly.

    "What do you want Ashley?" I asked staring at her through the dressing mirror.

"Well just wanted to wish you happiness" she said moving towards me.

"You and I both know you don't mean it even in the slightest bit "I said rolling my eyes at her reflection.

Leaning down towards me, she snorted " Yeah bitch... Just watch your back because you wouldn't know what hit you until you touch rock bottom"

"Bye... Lee" she waved as she went out.

 AN HOUR LATER

I walked along the aisle slowly as I kept looking at him.. my Fiance, soon-to-be husband Jace. He has been my boyfriend for 6 years and before then my very good friend.

    He looked so handsome dressed in his suit as he smiled widely. I felt so happy, happy that I will soon leave my stepmother and sister... happy that I will soon be called Mrs Bryan-adams and happy to be getting married to the love of my life.

     I looked over to where my stepmother was standing and I noticed her disgusted and scowling face looking straight at me. She was not happy that I was getting married, she never liked me and well the feeling is mutual.

      Moving my eyes towards her side, I looked over for Ashley but I don't see her anywhere. Gawd, I know she is up to no good remembering what she said before exiting the room.

      I finally got to my man as he held my hand softly, looking at my eyes through the veil. I didn't even bother to listen to all the priest said, I was just focused on my Jace and imagining our future together.

     As the ceremony proceeded, the sound of an opening door caught everyone's attention as Ashley came in in her full glory.

"STOP THE WEDDING!!" she shouted.

" Young lady, what do you think you are doing?" The priest asked.

"I said STOP the motherfucking wedding " she screamed again.

"ASHLEY, STOP ALL THIS" I shouted getting pissed of her and her problems.

    By now, every guest were already murmuring  all sort of things.

"I can't watch you get married to my man" she said walking towards I and Jace.

" What... what are you saying ASHLEY?" I questioned.

"That man is mine...Mine, Mine,MINE!!!!" She shouted.

ASHLEY'S POV

   "That man is mine....Mine, Mine MINE!!!!" I shouted. The look on Ailee's face was given, I was happy that I got to wipe the annoying smile from her face.

    I've always hated Ailee and I could not bear to see her get married before me. I glanced  at Jace and saw his nervous look, I knew I was doing a good job.

"Ashley.... I know you hate me but please not know, STOP joking please" Ailee said.

"No!! You don't understand... This wedding cannot hold" I said smirking.

   " What?Why??" She asked as tears filled her eyes.  Yes!! That was what I've been waiting for,  HER TEARS.

 "What do you mean Why? If you get married to Jace what will happen to my unborn child?" I questioned as fake tears fell from my eyes.

AILEE'S POV

I froze instantly as she questioned...All the guests gasped as their murmuring became louder than before.

"Which unborn child?" I asked already shaking.

"I and Jace's unborn child or would you deny that we are a thing,Jace?" she smirked.

       All eyes instantly moved towards Jace as we  were all expecting him to say something.

"I...It's...It's true" Jace finally said looking down.

I felt all my blood draining from my system and all the loud gasps of the people around became so blurry. I looked towards my stepmother who was smirking widely at me, that's when I realised that it was all planned out. My eyes started getting heavy as the whole place was spinning and then with a loud thud, I fell to the ground as darkness told it's course.

      FLASHBACK ENDS.

My legs became numb and I fell to the ground with my wedding dress still on and burst into tears. I felt my whole life coming to an end, all my dreams of having a family with Jace shattered. I kept crying when a knock was heard at the door. I turned around and two men in suits walked in. I recognised one as my dad's Lawyer Mr Miliband and quickly stood up.

"Hi, Miss Ailee" he greeted.

Cleaning my tears, I replied " Good evening Mr Miliband.... Why are you here if I may ask?"

"Well Ma'am, I have come to inform you that you have been removed from the family register" He said.

"What!!! How? Why? On what ground? I asked with an angry tone.

"Ma'am, I would advise you sit down first" He replied.

Sitting on the bed, I raised an eyebrow at him urging him to continue.

"Mrs May Merkel has had her lawyer to do so... Saying that you betrayed the family and ruined the name of your late Father, my client Mr Merkel"

That's it.... I never knew my stepmother would do something this daring, her fucking daughter have been sleeping with my Fiance and I was ruled as the betrayal. THEY BETRAYED ME!! And I couldn't do anything..nothing at all and now I'm been removed from the family register, what have I done to deserve all this?

   "So what about my company" I asked him.

"Well, that also was taken away" he shrugged.

"What?? I own that company, it was my 21st birthday gift from dad...it was built with my own blood sweat and tears, and now she took that also?" I shouted as my tears flowed.

"Ma'am, I suggest you stop this shouting and go home for now at least.. Maybe, you will be informed in details" the second man said.

 I slowly nodded, trying to think about all I've told minutes ago.

"Well Ma'am we'll have to go now" Mr Miliband said.

I nodded again as they both left the room. After some minutes passed, I took my phone from the bed stand ( at least I had my phone) and went out of the room towards the gate of the hospital. Not minding the dried blood on my hand, i waved down a cab and entered.

"The Merkel Mansion please" I said to the driver. He nodded as he drove away.

I turned my attention to my phone and immediately I unlocked the screen, lot and lots of notifications came on. I waited for all the message to load before checking them out.

  I saw some people sympathizing with me while some condemned me saying I wanted to get married to my sister's lover. I looked up the phone and saw the driver glancing at me from the front mirror with a pity look. Well that's what you get for having one of the most influential man in the country as your dad.

AILEE'S POV

     I quickly transferred the cab fare as it came to a halt at my dad's mansion. Getting to the threshold, I heard voices and stopped to listen to the conversation.

"Who would have thought Ailee was that gullible" I heard May laughed.

"Right?? But it was not entirely lies tho" Jace chirped in.

"Yes baby.... wonder how she would take the news of her being removed from the family register" Ashley said.

"Who cares?? Those lawyers must have gotten  there already...It's about time she left the house at least it's my husband house" May said.

     I felt instant dizziness as I held the porch to steady myself. Why in the world would they do something like THIS?? I felt pure anger as I opened the door catching them off guard as the stopped laughing instantly.

"Why are you here?" Jace asked

"Why?? Am I not entitled to this house?" I glared at him.

"No, you're  not" Ashley smirked.

"After all, you disgraced the family and got yourself removed From the family register " she continued.

       Saying nothing I headed upstairs to my room.... Picking a suitcase, I folded everything I needed including my documents and my piggy bank which you would think it's stupid to have.

Dragging the suitcase, I came down to see all eyes staring at me till I left in my car... As I drove out of the compound, I gave the house a final look making up my mind to be back.... BACK FOR REVENGE.

~SIX MONTHS LATER~

SOMEWHERE IN NEW JERSEY.

RING RING RING!!!

  I stretched my hand to the annoying sound of my ringtone. Without looking at the caller, I picked the call.

"Hello?"

"Yes... Miss Ailee is it not?" I heard a male voice.

" This is she..Who's this?" I questioned

"From J&K Enterprises, The name is Davis Jin" I heard him say.

 Quickly sitting up, I said " Ohhh... Good morning Mr Davis"

"Yea, so I called to inform you that you are to resume work tomorrow as you have gotten the job "

"Really??? Oh my Gosh thank you very much" I squeaked

" Yes ma'am, like you are expected tomorrow as early as possible to be detailed on your work"  He replied.

" Okay... Got it, Thank you very much " I said and ended the call.

    I rolled myself on the bed out of happiness and didn't stop until I unknowingly hit the cold floor.

" OUCH!!"

I took a quick glance at the digital clock just above my bed and saw it was just 6:15 AM.

Wearing my fluffy slippers, I skipped toward the bathroom to wash my face. I moved to the closet to change into my sport bra and tight. Going towards the door, I picked up my phone and my running Tracks and put them on. I went out and walked towards the living room to get my wireless headphones ,locking my door in the process and started jogging away.
