It was a bright early morning I was in my night gown. I stood at the window as I saw the sun rise, I went to the bathroom to freshen up as I heard my mom calling my name "Mi-young ....." My mom shouted my name, I knew I had done something wrong. My name is also Mirabel, my dad gave me that name. Mom was Korean an, and dad was an American. I have a sister named Mi-sun, although she was my annoying little sister, but we had fun together.My dad and mum always fight over me and my sis because my mom wanted me to go to Korea to find a Job and husband there while my dad wanted me to stay in America and further my studies, but I was old enough to make my own decision, I always wanted to work in Unilever group in London it's been my dream ever since. My mom always wanted me or my sis to take over the LU group in Korea, but I was against the decision. I was 20 already so I was already planning to go to London to work even though I haven't told my parents yet, i planned to tell them when I had time

It was a Saturday, and I was in the sitting room thinking of how to break the news to my mom and dad of my trip to London. So, I immediately grasped courage and knocked on the door. "Come in "said my parents. "Mom, dad I have something to discuss with you" I said with courage. My mom was thinking that I finally accepted to work in the Lu group, while my dad thought I was going to work in his own company. "Tell us dear "my mom said smiling.

"Actually i am going to London to have my dream job i know you maybe disappointed but i don't want any of what you want me to do, and i an old enough to make my own decision " Mi-young said with her head facing down. Every where was silent for a while until my dad said "it's fine you can go" . I saw my mom was a little sad but i told her that she and dad could come visit. When I told Mi-sun my younger sister she was sad but i told her that she could come visit. I also bribed her with a brand new phone that she had been long wishing to have and when i gave her she was super happy that she hugged me tight

When it was time for Mi-young to leave they took a taxi to the airport because they were from a middle class family. " Mom, dad, Mi-sun I will really miss you "said Mi-young and then all of a sudden mom started bawling like a baby and everyone was staring it was so embarrassing as she was crying she said "the reason i named you Mi-young because it means Eternal beauty, Mi-young promise me that when you get to London you'll call me, and also you will Make me proud ". " Of course mom I will" Mi-young said as she hugged her mom, dad and sister and waved her goodbye.

When Mi-young was on the plane she was kinda happy that she left because she wouldn't be living with her parents anymore, but the fact was that she was going to miss them. Mi-young was staring outside the window watching how small the land was from where she was, but then I remembered that I didn't have a house yet. I was lost in thought when a girl beside me named Emma asked "What's the problem, I've observed you and i see you are lost in thought. Mi-young gad no other choice but to spill the bean she told her how she didn't have a house and to her surprise Emma said they could share a house, Mi-young was is happy and asked "What is your name if i may ask" . "I am Emma and what's yours" . "Mi-young but you can call me Mirabel "said Mi-young. "Oh my gosh, are you a Korean, i freaking love their movies" said Emma smiling "Yes my mother is a Korean" and after that Emma chose to call her Mi-young and the plane arrived at London.

OMG these place is amazing i said in my mind. I was watching with my mouth Opened as Emma tapped me and said "let's go home ".

We took a cab to her home. It was rented with 2 rooms but of course she wanted me to stay in her room and i ****agreed****

"Have you taken your bath, let's explore London" Emma said

"Of course yes". I said

We went with her bike and I had to admit I enjoyed the ride. Emma was fun to hang out with. As we were riding we decided to stop by and have lunch. "Aren't you exhausted "I said to Emma panting as if I just ran a marathon.

A handsome guy came with a menu and said "What would you like to have" I could already see Emma falling for him, I told him we just wanted pancakes.

"I saw that alright "I said trying to tease Emma. "I know right he is so cute "Emma said blushing. "I think he's into you ". Immediately I said that noticed that he had been hearing our conversation. He just dropped the Pancakes we ordered and winked at Emma.

" Did you see that, he just winked at me" Emma said smiling. As we wanted to leave he had just finished his shift, so he walked up to Emma and said "hey Gorgeous" I tapped Emma and moved aside for them to have their conversation. "Hi "Emma said shyly. "Can I have your phone no I would like to know you more if possible. Emma agreed, "So may I know your name " Emma asked. "Yea my name is Leo and you". Emma told Leo her name and they talked and talked that they didn't even realize that they were keeping me waiting.

I was tired of waiting, so I said" Do you guys realize that you are keeping me waiting "I said looking sternly at them. "Am so sorry about that, it's just that am just enjoying my gorgeous angel "he said surprisingly as we were leaving he came suddenly at the back of Emma gave her a hug and pecked her

GROSS....................." I said in my mind

When we got home I saw 28 missed call from my MOM.... I was surprised, I called her on Video and showed them that I was living with a friend and here was the conversation

Mom : Hello dear Emma how are you doing

Emma: I am Fine

Mi -Sun : Hey sis How's London and who is that girl beside you

Mi-young: It's my friend Emma

Mi-sun: wow she's so beautiful. Hello Emma

Mi-young: Sorry Emma I have to hang up now bye

"Wow , your family are wonderful "Emma said looking a little sad. " What is the problem " . Emma narrated how her family never supported her in anything she did and abandoned her. I felt sorry for her 2 of us started crying but immediately Emma's phone rang it was Leo , when she saw it was Leo she was back to normal.
