The whole place was on fire , only her silent sobs could be heard which were filled with nothing but regret . Regret of being of incapable and trusting the wrong person.

Ayla could see everything ending in front of her own eyes but what could she even do in her condition.

She was crippled due to endless torture she had been facing the past week.

Skinned out as she was not fed anything the whole week. Whip marks all over her body and burns over her back and limbs.

But none of this were her thoughts while dying.

She only had regret in her thoughts.

Not being able to save the ones she loved, not being to warn them about the upcoming storm in their life.

This feeling of helplessness was her regret.

She only hoped and prayed for another chance. Only a single chance to save everyone .

The building collapsed and everything ended , the silent sobs of her and her regret all were burnt in that fire.

Steven and Jessica sat in their car and left for their next destination , THE MORRIS mansion .

Morris family was the richest family of the country, admired by all. The eldest of the family is Ayla's grandfather David Morris. His hardwork lead to the present prosperity of the Morris family . His wife Nicole Morris is elegant and as hardworking as him . She was his secretary, both fell in love and got married. They had 2 sons Thomas Morris and Vincent Morris. Both their sons were very capable . Thomas carried on the family business while Vincent started his own company. Thomas married Flora who was a famous fashion designer and had 2 children Nick and Ayla Morris. Vincent married Shine , his business partner and had 2 children John and Daniel Morris. Being the only girl in the family Ayla was pampered by everyone.

Currently, Steven and Jessica reached the Morris mansion and went inside. They went in the basement where the whole Morris family was tied up with guns being pointed at their heads.

Steven ordered one of his man to arrange a projector and a screen. After 1 hr everything was arranged. Steven connected his device with the projector and the torture and death of Ayla broke the entire family.

"We gave you shelter and family and you both took our everything. You murdered my daughter, I wish you see hell " Thomas said.

"You are wrong , you destroyed our family and now we will end this chapter " said Steven.

"Finally our sufferings will end brother" Jessica said with a smile and moist eyes.

The entire Morris family was devastated at their beloved daughter's death and no longer cared about their life.

Steven ordered his men to shoot everyone and the entire family died.

"We did it ! We took our revenge " said Steven and Jessica with a smile

"I can feel the warn rays of sun on my face . Is this how you feel when you die ? Warm ? I want to open my eyes but I am afraid that once I do I have to face the cruel reality of my death . " Ayla pov

" Just then I heard the voice of my mother : GET UP AYLA IT'S 9 am already"

"I opened my eyes only to find myself in my room , all confused with lots of emotions , womdering is this my afterlife ? "

I ran towards my mom and hugged her as tightly as I could and started crying loudly ." I failed to save you mother , please forgive your daughter " I said repeatedly crying all my heart out , taking out all my regrets completely devastated.

Mother hugged me back all worried and started consoling me " What happened princess ? Did you have a nightmare, tell mom . Shush shush stop crying . " " Aww my sweetie is going to graduate today , why crying on such a happy occasion "

" I graduated when I was 20 mom , now I am dead , we all are dead how can it be a happy occasion mom "

" You are 20 only princess , my child nothing has happened, no one has died , it must have been your nightmare princess " Mom consoled me.

"Huh ? No mom I am 25 and I am dead "

" Princess you are 20 , now stop crying and get ready for your day . I made your favorite breakfast so come fast " She kissed my forehead and when I stopped crying she left the room for me to get ready.

I am all confused. What is happening? I looked at the mirror only to find a myself a little younger with my nerdy glasses and loose clothes which I used to wear during my college years . I hurriedly looked for my phone and checked the date.

" I am back to 5 years ago " I gasped , not ready to believe. I pinched myself again and again only to find it real. I washed myself , got ready and went downstairs.

Everyone was sitting at the dining table teasing each other and waiting for me.

"My family "I mumbled and a fresh tear drop left my eye.

I ran downstairs and hugged everyone, again crying loudly. Everyone consoled me and started lifting up my mood .I started feeling relieved and thankful to god for giving me another chance. "This time I will protect our happiness. "

"Our princess is looking gorgeous today" grandmother said. " Thank you grandma " I smiled and said.

Everyone congratulated me and I left for the college. I was the topper of my college. I reached the college , parked my car and went inside the hall for the graduation ceremony. I was immediately hugged by my besties Sana and Chloe . " Woah , someone is looking hot " both said at the same time . I laughed and said " WE are looking hot " We took our seats and the ceremony started . We were given our degree and then we left for our celebration party.

It was 2 in the afternoon when we left for celebration. We went to our favorite restaurant and ordered food . This restaurant was not some fancy restaurant but a small cozy one with a relaxing vibe. It became our favorite place because of the polite staff and mouth watering food that they provide.

"food is the best thing in the world " Sana exclaimed. Chloe and I started laughing at her childish nature . Sana pouted but then again started engulfing her food .

" How is Steven?" Chloe asked . It took me by surprise and I could feel a sudden gush of emotions. I do not know what to feel . Everything was replaying in my mind when Chloe snapped her finger infront of me that I came back to my senses. "I don't know " I replied , "Neither do I want to know ". Both were surprised by my answer.

Sana and Chloe are my best friends. We are together since our childhood as our families have been friends since a long time and same goes for Steven. We all have known each other since our childhood and understand each other the most . Steven was closest to me. He even pursued me in our highschool but I liked him only as a friend and he was also understood that and we agreed to continue being friends only. 3 years ago his family died in an accident which left him and Jessica devastated. They went to another country for the change of surroundings to live with their paternal uncle but we were in contact. In my previous life he and Jessica came back 2 years from now and started living with us after my family insisted them a lot. But that was the biggest mistake we did which destroyed our lives. I know he must have killed my entire family as I heard him talking about his further plans with someone on call.

"Did you two fight?" Sana asked. "No , I just don't want to stay in contact with him anymore " ,I replied.

"What happened?"

"Nothing , just that now I also think he has changed a lot" I said.

Yes. Sana and Chloe told this before that they find Steven's talks weird now like full of negative vibes.

Later we talked a little more about Steven and then changed our topic and started reminiscing our college life and how now we all have to start working. Later we bid goodbye to each other and left for our homes.

Ayla reached her home only to be greeted by tight hugs which were given by none other than her brothers. "Congratulations princess". Everyone laughed as Ayla was not able to breathe because of the sudden hug.

"Princess there is a party in the evening around 8 for your big day so take rest and get ready ." David said. "Your clothes and accessories have been sent to your room as you were able to shop due to the surprise" said Nichole.

"Now rest princess then get ready for the party after getting fresh " Thomas said and kissed Ayla's forehead.

Ayla went to her room after everyone congratulated her and slept .
