Sia, our female lead, was fast asleep on a monday morning.

The phone on her bedside started ringing... Sia was just half awake. Rubbing her eyes, she received the call. A voice from the other side was heard.

- Hey Sia good morning! It's my treat today, you have to come.

Sia looked at the alarm clock on the table beside her. The time was 5:56 am.

🅂🄸🄰 : Ohh...Anna, could you just stop it. It's early morning, it is seriously not the time to discuss this. I am not even awake and you sway me to hang out with you. I have to attend lectures at the university.

🄰🄽🄽🄰 : Don't worry, I'm not asking you to skip lectures, just meet me after class. You have no right to say 'no'. I promised you this treat a long time back. I can't delay it further.

Her tone changed colors to innocence.

Can't you do just this much for your friend. I'm not telling you to do anything bad. Alice is coming too... Is it too much...

Anna kept blabbering and Sia got frustrated. She was not paying her full attention. Despite the fact that such quarrels are a usual thing between friends but it surely can't be served as bed-tea.

🅂🄸🄰 : Okay... okay... fine... stop it. I'll come. No more words out of your mouth now.

🄰🄽🄽🄰 : Thank you... sweet dreams.

The phone was disconnected and Sia banged her head into the pillow. She was too sleepy to understand anything. Soon she realised what had happened and what 'crime' had she committed. Raising her head in dismay, she thought,

- What did I do. I promised Anna that I would hang out with her after class. How could I agree to her so easily. Ugh... she is so good with her puppy attacks, she tried to blackmail me emotionally and I even got tricked. She knows how helpless I am in my sleep and took advantage of that. This brat needs a good lesson.

She turned sideways while lying on the bed.

-The problem in going out with her is that... she will treat me like a puppet, she will make me eat things according to her preference...if she wants to do something to which I don't agree, she will use her puppy attacks in front of everyone... she'll drink away all my precious time... she'll rant about her relationship problems... she'll flirt with people around and it would leaves a bad impression of mine even though I am not involved... at last she'll chew my head, I'll be dead tired, and the last thing that I will hear from her mouth is "you are such a wet blanket Sia.'' After suffering humiliations and scornful glare of others because of her, after doing everything for her, this is what I'll get to hear.

Sia rose up from her comfy bed and sat like a lost soul.

-It feels like I'm her boyfriend... Eww... her... it gives me the creeps. (She tried to suppress the thought as soon as possible.)

-How did I end up being friends with her... I don't want to remember the days when we used to play together. How on earth did we turn out to be so different. Was she always like this... how come I didn't notice it then.

She smiled a pleasant curve.

- Anyways, you are my friend, no matter how you are or how much you irritate me. I will be there for you... but I still can't digest this event... you owe me this time... (back to senses) no you don't owe me anything, I can't bear another treat of yours. By the way, thanks for ruining my sleep. Alice is coming too? Darn it.

Sia went to the kitchen and made a cup of coffee. Her head was jammed. She opened the windows and inhaled the fresh air. She was no more a lost soul. She calmed.

beep beep...beep beep... beep beep... beep beep...

Sia turned her head around and saw the alarm clock beeping.

- It's time to wake up.

Following her routine work, Sia reached her university. She is a girl of age 19. Apparently, boys have stopped approaching her because of her introvert nature. They all have eyes on her, but do not dare to do anything. She is a student of a profound university. She belongs to a middle class family and does part time jobs at the university to earn for her everyday expenditures. Life was going well for her.

The day's first lecture was language, and double periods of mathematics subsequently. In spite of all the brain exhaustive events, she had not forgotten about her meet with Anna and Alice. After class, as promised, she went straight to Anna.

She saw someone coming. The girl was Alice.

🄰🄻🄸🄲🄴 : Hey Sia... (scornful) didn't you know that we were going out today. You should have worn something good.

🅂🄸🄰 : 🙄 I wear what I like. (pretending to be sweet) How are you Alice. Let's get going.

🄰🄽🄽🄰 : I found a new joint nearby. I went there once with Max... it was pretty good. I'll take you girls there.

Anna led the way and both the girls followed her. Seeing Anna getting lost in her own world, Alice whispered something into Sia's ears.

🅂🄸🄰 : Yes, Max is the recent one.

🄰🄻🄸🄲🄴 : Ugh...She changes boys the way she changes colors from her nails. How can anyone be so frequent in refashioning their relationships.

They both giggled silently.

🄰🄻🄸🄲🄴 : Truth... do you know what reason she gave to the previous one...she said, (in Anna's accent) "you do not have a big back... it is uncomfortable to rest on you."

🅂🄸🄰 : Seriously, 🙁 now that is called 'back' bitching. I wish I was there to witness his reaction.

Alice bursted into a series of laughter.

Sia winked at her in regards to her appreciation.

🄰🄻🄸🄲🄴 : But when it comes to having a boyfriend... you are a complete zero in it.

🅂🄸🄰 : Am I your favourite target? Why do you always have to barge on me, we were just being like friends right now. Stop it please.

🄰🄽🄽🄰 : What's so interesting that you both are discussing? Are you coming...

🄰🄻🄸🄲🄴 : Yeah... sure, sure... we are coming.

Anna met Alice when she first joined the university. They became good friends. Alice has an annoying habit of letting people down. Sia never liked her character. Anna is a common friend among them so they sometimes hang together. Alice wants all eyes to be on her. She wants the attention from the audience. For this, she does all kinds of embellishments. On the other hand, Sia unintentionally grabs the chase of the crowd. Sia and Alice, never considered each other as friends. Sia had once drawn a friendly hand out to her but she rejected. They both appear to be dear to each other, but in reality, they are just foes. Sia even tried to ameliorate her, but all her goodness just rebounded.

Who knew that this bitter Alice would play a role in bringing sweet joys of love into Sia's life...

They reached the desired eating joint and called for a seat. They were lucky enough to be on time as no more tables were left after them.

Alice mocked. Sia was irked.

Sia picked up the menu card and started reading the main course dishes in it. Soon a waitress came by their table and asked them.

Hearing this line, Sia choked and began to cough.

Sia's eyes gaped wide open. She was baffled. The colour from her face had vanished.

They all resolutely, fixed their eyes on the passage to see who the two guests were. A stunted shadow appeared on the floor.

But the shadow started growing and it took shape of two tall guys with an extremely good built.

Sia was dumbstruck.

If Sia had been eating that time, the food would have surely slipped off her forks.

Two absolutely tall and handsome boys stood in front of them to share the table. They both were gentlemen. One of them is Kio Harley, our male lead. The other is his friend, Raul.

Raul introduced for himself and Kio, and Alice, the girls.

Kio was a very famous romance writer. Alice felt like she had heard his name before but could not remember it at the spur of the moment.

Sia moved her finger towards the menu card to point her on her preference but her hand was grabbed by Anna before she could reach.

Anna pointed her finger to the dish named 'sweet garlic'. Sia, turned her face towards Anna and gave her a blank expression (Her favourite expression).

🄰🄽🄽🄰 : What, I've tried it before. I like it very much.

-Just like I said, she makes me eat things that she prefers. I have no right to lay my choice in front of her.

The order was placed and they waited for the food to be served.

Kio had been continuously noticing Sia. He wanted her to talk to him.

🄺🄸🄾 : (Ohh... this girl is so cute, sitting like a doll, doing things that her friends want her to do. I want to listen to her voice, she has not spoken a single word till now... what was her name...?)

Kio tried to talk directly to her, but Alice and Anna always answered on her behalf. He tried maintaining an eye contact, but she sat with her head lowered. He was frustrated with his failure at every attempt of wooing her yet he kept a pleasant smile on his face.

🄰🄻🄸🄲🄴 : We study at the X university.

🅁🄰🅄🄻 : Ohh... that is great. We also study there. I think you girls are one-year younger to us so we didn't get to see each other.

The dishes were served. Sia smelled for it's sweet fragrance that reached her nose. Kio, instead of eating was only staring at her. She filled her spoon with gravy and blew in it. With well manners, she tasted it and squeezed her eyes after the soup touched her tongue.

The audience bursted into laughter and Sia blushed with shyness.

Sia blushed again.

Seeing that Kio Harley was getting more and more into Sia, Alice felt jealous.

His indications were to Sia.

Sia observed the uncanny look on Alice's face. She could feel that Alice was upto something odd.

-She leaves no opportunity to pick on me. I have to interrupt her before she speaks anything vile.
