So , Rai Kapoor is an adopted daughter of the Prestigious Kapoor family . The Kapoor family is a business class family of the business Tycoon Mr. Rakesh Kapoor , Rai's adoptive father . Aditya Singha is the top notch singer of their city and his Family '"The Singha's"is a reputed company. The Kapoor's and the Singha's were family friends and had promised each other to marry their children. Subsequently Rai's sister, Nayra was supposed to Marry Aditya but Nayra married someone else so Rai was the only other option

Rai wasn't ever revealed in front of the media , she was basically treated like a servant, but a few years back when she married her ex husband Akash Pandey who she had a relationship with for 9 years but Akash ended up cheating on her with her own sister Nayra. Rai was pregnant back then but Akash killed her baby which left Rai traumatized and so she was admitted to a mental hospital where she was electrocuted harshly and even abused. But she was brought back on the day of her marriage.
