*I woke up, feeling tired and anxious as I sat up on my bed. I looked around my room looking for my medicine*

*I finally found it and take two pills, then go get ready for my first day, feeling anxious and sleepy*

*I start getting ready, putting on the skirt of the school uniform and the shirt. -This school is so sexist- I thought as I rolled my eyes, noticing how short the skirt was*

*I noticed the time and quickly applied some make up on, then grab my book with some pens and my textbooks as well as a romance novel just for fun.*

*I ran down the stairs and quickly took a apple and walk out the door, noticing my brother waiting for me, leaning against the car while scrolling on his phone*

“Took you long enough” I said as I looked at my sister, from head to toe as I noticed how short the skirt was*

*I sighed and nodded, then tried to get in the car when he stopped me* “what?” *i said, annoyed*

“You think that I’ll allow you to go to school like that?” *i said, my voice authoritarian and stern*

“Just let me in! It’s the school uniform!” *i said, anxious and annoyed*

“Fine!” *i said as I sighed. We got in the car and I drove us to school, not sure of what to expect*

*I got off the car and waited for him, tapping my foot on the floor impatiently*

*I got off the car and locked it, then started walking inside with Bria besides me* “stay with me, I don’t want you to get lost”

“I’m not a child” *i say and sigh*

“Whatever…” *I mumble as we arrive to the first day meeting in the massive garden the high school has*

*I notice that there are many people and pull Bria closer to my protectively, not wanting her to get lost or something*

*i look at him, confused* “calm down, im not a kid”
Samuel
“Shut up, I’m older and our parents put me in charge of you” *i say and glare at her*

*I sigh and keep walking besides him to our seats* “whatever…”

*I noticed our seats were surrounded by people, making the space look small and packed with people, giving me anxiety and making me start to tremble*

*I notice Bria trembling and pull her closer, not wanting for her to have a panic attack* “it’s okay…I’m here for you, nothing will happen”

*I nod and take deep breaths, trying to calm down* “y-yes…”
Samuel
*I hug her and cover her eyes, not wanting her to look around and notice all the people around her* “I’ll see where we can sit without much people”
Bria
*I nod and hold onto him tightly* “I-it’s okay, I don’t want to be a burden…I can handle it”
Samuel
“You’re not a burden, you’re my sister and I’ll take care of you” *i say and look around for a place with less people, still holding her tightly*

“Samuel, im fine…I just had a flashback…we can sit in our original places” *I say and look at him, smiling softly*

*I sigh and nod, then squeeze through people to reach our places* “alright…”
Bria
*we get to our seats and I sit down between my brother and a guy besides me* “I-I’ll put on my AirPods…I don’t want to have a panic attack here”

*I nod and look at her, smiling softly* “alright, I’ll be here if you need something”
Bria
*I nod and put on my AirPods, then start playing some of my favorite music to calm down:*
Samuel
*I sigh and notice a girl trying to sit besides me, but some guy being mean, making me mad and remembering of when my sister was in that situation*

*I stand up and tower over the guy, looking at him menacingly* you got a problem with her?
Carlos
*I flinch and look up at the guy with fear, noticing how he’s much taller and stronger than me* “n-no…I was just leaving…”
Samuel
“That’s what I thought.” *i said as I watched the guy run off with fear, then look back at the girl and smile* are you okay?
Roberta
*I smile and nod* “thanks to you, I’m sorry I disturbed you and your…” *i said as I peeked to the seat next to him, looking at Bria* “girlfriend?”
Samuel
*I chuckle and shake my head* “no, she’s my sister and you didn’t disturb me”
Roberta
*I nod and smile* “thanks, im Roberta by the way…”
Samuel
*I smile and notice her pretty smile* “nice to meet you, I’m Samuel and she’s Bria” *i say and point to my sister behind me, scrolling through her phone*
Roberta
“Nice to meet you both” *i say and look at him* “so where are you from? As this is only an exchange high school”
Samuel
*I smile and sit. Ack down with my sister as Roberta takes a seat at my other side* “we’re half Mexican half Russian, well, I am. My sister is half Mexican half Brazilian”
Roberta
*i look at him, surprised* “oh, I didn’t expect that, but why are you two different nationalities?”
Samuel
“Well, our partners work in a job that requires constant traveling, so they decided to let us be born in Mexico but raised us in different countries, I stayed with my grandfather for some years and my sister with our uncle, though we don’t really have contact with our uncle no more” *i say and sigh, looking away*
Roberta
*I nod and notice how much of a sensible topic this is* “well, I guess it’s cool to have different nationalities. I’m Egyptian”
