Dear Dream
The House of Horrors
{This was a dream I had around a week ago and it still stuck so deep into me. Hope you find this enjoyable. The name are made up}
I saw a group of students entering a hall, as they all end up on their seat, I was brought to a certain boy who has a huge smile on his face chatting with his friends at the corner of the hall during the sermon.
Thomas
Never seen him before.
Boys
Don't know? Maybe a new guy.
As they leave, Thomas went up to the boy he saw earlier.
Thomas
Are you a new student?
{Side note: The profile picture I used for these two are actually so similar to what I remember from my dream. I just tap in the character gallery and gave a shocking 'oh my gosh' once I see them. I hope this doesn't mean anything 😃}
My view was hazy and very dark at that point, but from the next thing I remember happen, they seem to grow closer and became some good friends.
Thomas was delighted to find new friends yet was still sad of how silent and cool Eric always was.
Thomas
You talk about your house the other day, so where exactly it is.
Eric
A place you wouldn't want to go.
Thomas
Why so? It sounds like a great place the way you mention it.
Eric
Would you come if I invite you to?
Eric
Then tomorrow, let's meet here.
The next day came sooner enough.
And Thomas finally got to see the house which was magnificent as he imagined it to be.
They went to the back of the house and Eric began to climb on the huge tree.
Eric
This is a better way to enter the house.
Though hesitated, Thomas end up holding his hand and the two slowly climb up and reach a wide terrace on the third floor. Eric land first and then helped Thomas do the same.
At that moment, Thomas was met by a sudden appearance of a group of people.
Eric
They're my family, Thomas.
Eric
My father Ben and mother Martha.
Eric
My sister Lucy and brother Johann.
Eric
And those are Susan and Marie, my distant cousin that live with us after their parents' death.
Ben
Dinner is ready, shall you join us, Thomas?
Martha
Are the food is to your liking?
Lucy
That's great, only few people are able to digest our chef's food.
Johann
So when did you meet Eric? Do you like him?
Susan
Thomas, play with me.
Marie
No, you play with me.
Eric
They don't ask such stupid questions at the dinner table.
Thomas
*Whisper*
You don't be rude like that to your elders.
Eric
Don't mind them, they're a bunch of leechers.
Thomas
Excuse me for a moment. I want to use the restroom.
Walking through the long hall, his mind was totally occupied by the hazy atmosphere that begged to be questioned.
Marie
Where are you going?
He turned and was met by the twin silently staring at him.
Thomas
I'm going to use the restroom.
Susan
But you say you won't leave.
He only manage to turn around when he fell his body unmovable.
Marie
But you can't leave.
Susan
Uncle Eric said we could play with you after dinner.
He found himself staring at the same mansion from far away.
And came two kids playing with each other on the green field.
A boy and a girl, a neighbours who play together all day everyday, nothing seems to separate them.
As they grew up, the girl fell in love and the boy who seems to gather feelings for her was heartbroken.
He kills the groom and with his high power he inherited from his family as the eldest son seems to make the girl's family bankrupt and with a fake smile and attitude offered to paid their debts if he could marry the girl.
The agreement was done and it was the wedding day. The boy smiled brightly but the girl cried all night, she was already aware of everything her friend did.
She was just waiting for this day to take her revenge. It was at this wedding day she ran away with the help of the boy's mother who pitied her.
The next day, she was found in the forest hanged on a tree with her beautiful white gown the boy carefully choose.
He was angry and devastated, releasing his anger on his family and consumed by alcohol.
And then came a noise, a crowd of cheer and laughter.
Eric
You make me the happiest man today.
Lucy
Everything's fine, please continue to enjoy yourself.
Lucy and Johann push him back inside the room.
They sat him down on the dressing table, and he saw himself adorned with all kinds of white jewellery with the same wedding gown the girl wear on that story. He was beyond horrified to see everyone there with black eyes with a grim face that is similar to the death.
Martha
Look now, aren't you beautiful?
Lucy
Do this, so we could all be free from his shackles.
{This part was much much more dark and horrifying to see it in my dream, it's interesting yes but it scares me so much}
I couldn't remember much but what I could gather is that Thomas still struggle to leave and I see him running down a long hallway, looking for passage to leave the mansion.
The twins bother him every chance, appearing suddenly many times and asking him not to leave. He forced himself to pay no mind.
As he climb up through the stairs, he saw Eric calling him from the bottom of the stairs.
Eric
Thomas, where are you going?
Eric
Everyone's waiting for our appearance.
He could feel that their distance draw closer yet he refuse to turn around and continue to walk forward.
Eric
THOMAS! DON'T LEAVE! PLEASE!
Finally, he managed to reach to the same terrace from where he first came.
Eric
YOU SAID YOU COME WITH ME AND ACCEPT ME! SO PLEASE COME TO ME THIS TIME TOO.
Eric
I LOVE YOU, DEAR! SO PLEASE DON'T GO. YOU KNOW I'M NOT CAPABLE OF HARMING YOU! SO PLEASE COME WHEN I ASK!
Eric
SHE LEAVES! EVERYONE LEAVES! NOT YOU TOO!
Eric
PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME! DON'T LEAVE ME!
He was deaf to the continuous begging and continue to climb down.
Even when he reach the ground, he continues to walk, still hearing the shouting and crying from afar.
The next day, as he look through old newspaper. He find tons of missing people that are last seen walking towards that house, all mad people that are often seen to talk to themselves a few days before going to that house.
